Chapter 62
By the time Ye Yu returned home, it was nearly 11:30 p.m.
He could clearly hear the steady, even breathing of Karuizawa Kei and Ichika. They were already asleep inside.
Ye Yu lay down on the bed and began observing the other girls through the gu insects he had placed on them.
Almost everyone was sleeping.
After admiring their cute sleeping faces for a while, he noticed that in front of Lazuli stood several burly, muscular men.
It wasn't that she was playing some strange game. From their appearance, these men clearly weren't good people.
Ye Yu gave a faint smile, then closed his eyes and went to sleep.
The next morning, Ye Yu felt something soft against his chest.
A familiar fragrance instantly woke him up.
He opened his eyes to see Ichika smiling brightly as she lay on top of him, her arms propped on his chest.
Right now, Ichika was wearing loose pajamas. With a slight upward glance, Ye Yu could see a large expanse of fair skin.
Ye Yu gently wrapped his arms around her soft body and spoke tenderly.
"Ichika, aren't you going to class?"
Ichika lightly pecked him on the cheek, then wrapped her arms around his neck.
"There's no class this morning, so… shall we go shopping together later?"
Faced with Ichika's delicate little face, Ye Yu naturally nodded.
"Anything my Ichika baby wants, of course I'll make it happen! By the way, where's Kei? No class for her today either?"
"Kei-neesan already left. Don't you know what time it is?!"
Ichika gave Ye Yu a playful eye-roll, then clung to him like a koala. Her fingers lightly tapped on his chest.
Ye Yu immediately understood—this little girl was sending him a signal!
Just as Ye Yu was about to "educate" her, the doorbell suddenly rang.
Ding-dong! Ding-dong!
Ichika immediately stood up, guessing it was probably one of her sisters.
Ye Yu frowned—his good mood was completely ruined by the interruption.
"Ichika, go change your clothes. Your body is only for my eyes!"
Ichika looked down and realized her chest was exposed with a large patch of fair skin.
Hearing Ye Yu's words, her face flushed red. She turned and hurried back to her room.
Meanwhile, Ye Yu had already used his super hearing to identify the two people outside— they were police officers.
One of them was the male officer who had warned him the other day.
He wasn't in a hurry to open the door. Instead, he stretched lazily and headed to the bathroom to wash up.
The two outside rang the doorbell again.
"I clearly heard sounds inside—is he deliberately not opening the door? This kid looks guilty. Should we call someone to force the lock?"
"Wait—don't rush! He's only here to assist with the investigation. He's not an actual suspect yet."
The two officers kept knocking. After a few minutes, the door was gently opened.
But instead of Ye Yu as they expected, a beautiful woman stood there.
"Excuse me, officers—what can I do for you?"
Looking at Ichika's stunning beauty, one of the officers' eyes flashed with amazement.
Though the station had Artoria as their police flower, she and Ichika had completely different vibes.
He took a deep breath and spoke seriously.
"We're here to ask Mr. Ye Yu to come with us to the station to assist with an investigation."
Ichika's heart jolted. She looked at them worriedly.
"Did something happen to Ye Yu?"
Meanwhile, the other officer's emotions were even more stirred than Ichika's.
He had seen Ye Yu with two beautiful girls at the station before. Now another even prettier one appeared—and it looked like they were living together!
He really wanted to shout inside: Is there no law anymore?! Why am I, a decent man, still single? It's all because of scum like him!
Though his mentality was collapsing, his police professionalism held firm.
He still explained to Ichika:
"It's just to assist with the investigation. It doesn't mean he's actually committed a crime. May we know where Mr. Ye Yu is right now?"
"He's still washing up. Would you like to come in and sit for a bit? I'll get you some water."
Seeing Ichika's perfect "good wife" demeanor, the two officers shook their heads politely.
"We'll wait here. Please ask him to hurry."
While they waited, the four sisters on the opposite side heard the commotion and immediately came out to check.
"Ichika, what's going on?"
Nino looked at the police officers in confusion, a bad feeling rising in her heart.
The two officers stared in shock at Nino—who looked identical to Ichika.
Such beautiful girls… and they were twins?
But the surprise only lasted a few seconds before Yotsuba came out, followed by Miku and Itsuki.
The officers felt their minds short-circuiting. Quintuplets??
This guy lived right across from quintuplets? How enviable was that?!
Yotsuba looked worriedly at Ichika. Among the five sisters, she and Ichika were definitely the most concerned about Ye Yu.
"Where's Ye Yu? What happened?"
At that moment, Ye Yu—who had finished washing up—slowly walked out.
He lightly patted Ichika's shoulder, then smiled at the other four.
"It's nothing. I'll be back soon!"
In the car on the way to the police station, the two officers remained completely silent.
Finally, just before they arrived, the male officer who had warned Ye Yu before couldn't hold back anymore.
He turned to Ye Yu and said:
"You bastard—you already had two incredibly beautiful girls before, and now you're unclearly involved with one of the quintuplets. Are you planning to target all five of them and play with their feelings?"
Ye Yu leaned back casually against the seat, speaking in a very playful tone.
"What are you talking about? I deeply love all five of the sisters. In the future, they'll all be my wives. How can you say I'm playing with their feelings?"

The word surged in both officers' minds.
The man said nothing more—he was afraid he'd lose control and punch Ye Yu.
Ye Yu casually played with his phone, completely unbothered.
He was willing to cooperate and go to the station for two reasons:
First—to find out exactly what was going on. Was Lazuli behind this?
Second—Artoria. He wanted to test her.
Once they arrived at the police station, Ye Yu was taken to an interrogation room.
A burly middle-aged man with a serious face sat across from him.
"I'm going to ask you some questions now. I hope you'll answer honestly."
