Chapter 424 - Chapter 427: Late Night

Chapter 427: Late Night

At 11 PM, both sides dispersed at roughly the same time, and everyone returned to their rooms to rest.

Back in the room, Eriri came over with a smile, pouncing onto Kaede, who was already lying on the bed, and said with a smile, "Kaede-kun, what were you guys playing earlier?"

"Playing cards, playing games, chatting."

Wrapping his arms around Eriri's waist, Kaede asked, "What about you guys? You weren't gossiping, were you?"

Eriri nodded happily: "Hehe, pretty much. I learned a lot of interesting things, but most of them I can't tell you!"

"Hmm~~ Still can't say, huh."

Kaede understood; it was probably all girl talk.

"If you can't say it, then don't. Hurry up and wash up, it's getting late, time to sleep."

"Kaede-kun, you're already done?"

"Yeah, I came back ten minutes earlier than you."

"Hehe, I'll be back very soon!"

After kissing Kaede, Eriri got up and went to the bathroom.

After washing up and returning, Eriri found Kaede already yawning, and immediately pounced on him, saying, "Kaede-kun, you slept so long this afternoon, and you're still sleepy?"

"Nonsense. Even if I took a nap, I was riding in a car and swimming today. How can I not be tired? I'm just a normal person."

Holding Eriri and lying on his side, Kaede said with narrowed eyes, "Alright, I'm turning off the light, okay?"

"Turning off the light already?"

Blinking, Eriri said in a low voice, "I still wanted to show you my other swimsuit."

"..."

Opening his eyes, Kaede looked at Eriri's sly expression, exhaled, and said, "You're not planning on letting me sleep, are you?"

"Hehe, I didn't say that."

Twisting in Kaede's arms, Eriri said with a smile, "So, Kaede-kun, do you want to see?"

Kaede imperceptibly swallowed, then said without hesitation, "I can't refuse."

Eriri knew Kaede would react this way, so she immediately got up, turned off the room's main light, turned on the bedside lamp, took out another swimsuit from her suitcase, and started changing in front of Kaede... In the middle of the night, past one o'clock.

Looking at Eriri, who was sound asleep in his arms, Kaede exhaled, gently removed Eriri's hand from himself, and then sat up.

He had been a bit sleepy when he first returned, but after what had just happened, Kaede truly wasn't sleepy at all now.

He rubbed his stomach; he was actually a little hungry.

"I'll go downstairs and find something to eat."

Without waking Eriri, Kaede put on his slippers and quietly left the room.

The lights in the hallway had already been turned off, and it was dark. Kaede turned on his phone's flashlight function and went downstairs without turning on any lights.

He thought everyone was already asleep, but when he got downstairs, Kaede saw a distinct bright light in the living room.

Kaede immediately knew it was the glow of a computer screen, and then he saw the person sitting there.

"Senpai?"

It was Utaha.

Hearing Kaede's voice, Utaha also looked up in surprise: "Asakura-kun? Why are you down here?"

"I'm a bit hungry, came down to find something to eat."

After replying, Kaede went to the kitchen, took out a bottle of soda water from the fridge, then returned to the living room and sat down next to Utaha.

On the computer screen, large blocks of text were displayed, indicating the purpose of Utaha sitting there.

"Senpai, still busy so late?"

"En."

Nodding, Utaha's hands never stopped moving, "When we were all chatting earlier, I got a lot of inspiration and really wanted to write it down right away. But since Ami is already asleep, typing in the room would disturb her, so I quietly came out."

"So that's how it is."

Kaede also understood Utaha's personality; she was the type who would feel stifled if she didn't create something after getting inspiration, which is a common ailment for many creators. Kaede occasionally experienced such feelings himself.

Looking at the still extremely excited Utaha, Kaede said with emotion, "Senpai, looking at you, are you going to be writing for a long time?"

"En, probably another hour or so. This feeling of inspiration gushing out isn't common."

Squinting her eyes, even though it was already late at night and her body felt a bit tired, Utaha's spirit was still very excited. She clearly wasn't planning on sleeping until she finished writing.

"But if you do this, you might not be able to have fun during the day."

"It's okay, I'll just catch up on sleep in the morning. There are a lot of people, so my absence for half a day isn't a big problem." As she spoke, Utaha glanced at Kaede, "Didn't you and Eriri also miss the afternoon?"

"...Can we not talk about that?"

"Hehe~~" With a hint of a smile, Utaha said, "When we girls were chatting just now, Eriri talked a lot about things between you two, including that you're a long-hair fetishist and really like to smell her long hair and such."

"..."

Kaede's mouth twitched, and he said in a low voice, "I knew it, your girl talk would be very open-minded. She didn't say anything else outrageous, did she?"

"Not really. It hasn't reached the level of a doujinshi yet."

Although she said that, Kaede estimated it was pretty close.

And this was without alcohol. If they all reached drinking age later, wow, that scene would definitely be a chaotic dance of demons.

Shaking his head, Kaede decided not to think about those things and went back to the kitchen, preparing to make something to fill his stomach and then quickly go to sleep.

Snacks were immediately passed. After opening the refrigerator, Kaede saw some leftover rice, as well as eggs and ham sausage, and then some vegetables and frozen meat.

Not wanting to spend too much time, Kaede took out the rice, eggs, and ham sausage, and said to Utaha in the living room, "Senpai, I'm going to make some egg fried rice. Do you want some?"

When Utaha heard him, she originally wanted to refuse, but then she thought that since they were out having fun, she shouldn't worry about such a small thing, and she was indeed a bit hungry.

"Sure, I'll trouble Asakura-kun then~~~"

After confirming that Utaha wanted to eat, Kaede took out two servings of rice, two eggs, and two sausages, and began to make supper.

Hearing the commotion from Kaede's side, Utaha also stopped typing, saved the document, and quietly went to the kitchen.
