Roxanne still layed out in the rain when a maid rushed to her.
"Young Madam u shouldn't be in the rain or u might catch a cold"the maid said and covered her with an umbrella.
Roxanne stood up and nodded before following the maid inside.
Roxanne went to her room and had a warm bath since she had been in the rain,a cold bath would do her no good.
After her bath she headed downstairs to have dinner and met Riven already sitted. Normally she'd be scared to join him but today she wasn't in the mood, it's only been a day since she signed the wedding certificates but it felt like an hour had passed
She sat down quietly and began eating her dinner when Riven asked.
"How was the visit?"
She paused but didn't look up neither did she reply.
Riven frowned at this,"I asked you a question"
Roxanne didn't answer but instead excused herself and went back to her room totally ignoring him.
Riven frowned deeply and went after her.
Roxanne was about to close her room door when Riven barged in pushing her to the floor.
"W...what are.y..you doing here?"she asked,her eyes wide like sausers.
"One thing I hate is being ignored, I asked a question but u ignored me,what part of u have to listen to me don't you understand?!"he asked.
Roxanne gulped,"I... I wasn't thinking straight..I.. I'm sorry"she replied frightened but he wasn't having it.
"Two days starting from tomorrow,no food and you'll be locked up in this room!"he declared.
"What?!"she exclaimed but he walked away and locked the door.
"No no no, Please I'm sorry, open the door, please Mr Sy open the door, anyone out there please let me out!!"she yelled but no one came to her aid.
Roxanne cried her eyes out,"what have I gotten myself into?"she muttered in between tears.
Two Days Later
Roxanne woke up feeling very weak,she hasn't had food and had been drinking tap water.

Her eyes were about to close when a knock was heard on her door.
"Young Madam, breakfast is ready".
Roxanne was too weak to get up.
"Young Madam are you still sleeping?"
The maid asked then heard the breaking of glass and a 'thud'.
She immediately panicked and opened the door only to find Roxanne's unconscious figure lying on the broken pieces.
"Oh no, Young Madam!"she exclaimed attracting attention and someone called the family doctor
Ten minutes later,the doctor arrived and took her pulse which was a bit weak.
"Has she eaten anything yet?"the doctor asked
"She hasn't eaten anything in two days"the maid replied
"Why?"
"Not sure"the rude maid replied.
"No need to panick,she only fainted from hunger and a slight fever"the doctor said. He prescribed some medicines and then took his leave.
The servants left one by one but only one stayed and sat by the bedside watching Roxanne until she regained consciousness.
Roxanne opened her eyes and sat up gently, the maid noticing her stir when to get her breakfast so Roxanne didn't see anyone.
"I passed out"she muttered and held her head.
The door opened and the maid came back with some food.
"Young Madam u too need to eat and then take your medicine"
Roxanne stared at the maid and smiled a bit, at least someone cared about her in this big isolated mansion.
"What's your name?"
"I'm Cindy, I started two days ago"Cindy replied.
"So you're a new staff?"Roxanne asked surprised
"Yes I am,here"Cindy replied and gave Roxanne the tray of food and meds.
"Why are you being nice to me?"Roxanne asked because every other staff ignores her
"I find u interesting"Cindy replied with a smile.
Roxanne sighed and ate her food before taking her medicines all on Cindy's watch.

At Sy Corp,Riven sat at his desk and stared at the screen as he worked until a knock interrupted him.
"Come in"
The door opened and his new secretary,a male, walked in. "Boss,the CEO of Flower Fragrance is here to see u, should I let him her in?".
"Yes"Riven replied and the door closed only to be opened seconds later and a lady dressed elegantly walked in,her aura held dominance as she sat on the sofa in his office.
"Miss Anastasia,what brings you here?"he asked without exchanging pleasantries.
"Straight to the point huh Vini?"she asked and stood up walking towards him.
"Why are you here?"
"Can't I visit my old friend?"she asked with a smirk
"Ten seconds"
"I heard about your position being on the brink of being stripped off u if you don't get a wife before Grandpa Ru's birthday this weekend and-"
"You wanted to check if the position is still open?, it's not,get lost"he said coldly cutting her off.
"Don't be rude, I'm trying to help you"Anastasia said.
"And what do you stand to gain?"
"Being your wife is more than enough for me"she replied and touched his thigh tracing it up to his zipper when a sudden kick in the gutt sent her flying.
"Disgusting, still haven't changed in three years"he said now feeling more irritated with her presence.
Anastasia struggled to stand and held the couch for support.
"Have u lost your mind?!!"she yelled through pain while holding her stomach.
"See yourself out before you receive more than that"he said coldly.
"How could you hit a lady, I could sue you for this!"she threatened.
"But yet you won't"he replied nonchalantly because it was the truth.
She's so obsessed that she doesn't have the guts to sue him and even if she did,it would turn against her.
Anastasia stared at him and clenched her fists,"I'll be back and you'll be mine, let's see how you'll be able to get a woman before the deadline!!"she yelled and stormed out of the office in a fit of rage.
