Chapter 20 - Chapter 19

"Hmm~ …darling."

"What? Are you crazy? Why would you call yourself that?"

"Because I'm the one who's gonna sleep with you. Or should I say 'your man' instead?"

Rock's wildness didn't ease up for anyone. Even while trying to hint that Star was special, his natural roughness refused to soften.

"You… damn."

Star lowered his gaze, trying to avoid that teasing, too-satisfied grin. Asking for kisses, asking to sleep together, but not asking to be boyfriends did a guy like that deserve anything?

"You can call me 'bro,' or 'big bro,' or 'your man.' Whatever you want. What should I call you… chubby… shorty… sweetheart?"

"Huh?"

"I've seen couples call each other cute stuff like that."

"You definitely forgot your glasses today and drank dish soap instead. You're acting weirdly off the charts."

"Keep talking and you'll be the next thing I drink."

"Then talk nicely if you don't want to choke."

"What, did you pick up that snark from ADD?"

"So what? Or do you not want me anymore? I'm working off my debt for life anyway."

The bossy creditor kissed both of Star's cheeks and pulled him closer, unable to resist. Negotiations to raise each other's importance were going extremely well because it felt good, because touching each other felt right.

Love was a big thing for both of them. For now they might just say they "liked" each other but someday, they'd have to say the big words out loud, in front of everyone.

"Should've known better than to fall into your trap…"

"Sorry? What was that?"

"Nothing, sweetheart~"

 "Come."

The big guy lifted the smaller body down from the low-slung red car, setting Star on the ground and jerking his head in a rushed invitation to… something.

"Where?"

Star grabbed the giant's sleeve, stopping the impatient creditor.

"To go screw."

The shameless older one said it flat-out, leaving the younger one staring, mouth open, forcing out a stiff smile.

"Wow… obsessed much."

"I wanna do it~ I want! to! do it! Wanna do it do it do it do it!"

The older one held Star's shoulders and shook lightly like someone who'd completely lost it.

"Hey! Quit talking for a sec. I'm… not in the mood."

Star cupped the creditor's face with both small hands, remembering something clever at just the right moment.

"What did you just say?"

Those dark lips pressed tight, teeth grinding as the older one hissed through clenched teeth sharp eyes fierce, though they couldn't intimidate Star anymore.

Star only flashed a sly little smile back.

"If you don't do something for me first, I won't feel like doing anything."

"Do what now? Why are you such a pain? I'm rich what's the point of all this if my own damn star won't melt for me even a little? Everyone else tries to seduce me to death, but you you look at me naked every day and still feel nothing?"

Rock rolled his eyes so hard it looked painful, raising both hands beside Star's face, miming the urge to squeeze something out of sheer frustration.

But he didn't touch couldn't.

Because he liked Star too damn much.

Being his favorite debtor somehow became the one exception in a life where he never bowed to anyone.

"Grumpy old man…"

Private Hospital

"Who the hell do you think you are, dragging me to a hospital? I've lived with these eyes for thirty damn years and never once stepped into a place like this! What makes you think you're big enough to boss me around, huh, Star?!"

It wasn't a shout more like the usual grumbling but the big brute lay with a head on Star's lap, muttering in a voice small as a mosquito's whisper.

And yet Star heard every word clearly because the car was dead silent.

"If you won't do it, then tell the driver to turn around and take us home," Star said calmly shining brighter than ever even while sitting beside someone who lived in perpetual darkness like Rock.

The older one wanted to get laid. The younger one wanted to play hard to get not for drama, but out of genuine worry that the old man would go blind someday. So it became a condition: do something for your own good… yet it sounded more like an order from a future spouse.

"Really?"

Prince Rock who no one had ever succeeded in forcing to see an eye doctor was now being summoned with a finger waggle by a debtor, dragged into the car and shipped off to the hospital in exchange for the right to claim a certain star.

He grumbled nonstop but came anyway.

"Sure~ But don't try any funny business with me after, either."

"…You think you're so big now? You're the size of a flea. Even my parents couldn't drag me to a hospital…."

"…Should we go back then?"

"This way, please," the nurse called, guiding the terrifying-looking patient.

He changed into the hospital gown, hunched over with his head in his hands while a tiny figure rubbed his back.

It was just LASIK not childbirth so why act like he was dying?
