They were now sitting in the antechamber as after the Royal hearing they both were told to wait for the king he wanted to talk to both of them alone.
The room was long floored with dark red valvet carpet all over the floor the heavy metallic gold curtains on the wall were hanging down, a pendant light hanging in the center. They were looking all over the room in a mesmerized way.
"This is so beautiful, right Jo?"
he said while elbowing her, "hmmm" she said with wide eyes still looking at the whole antechamber.
"I wish rose could see it too rn" jodeth said thinking about roselle.
"Yeah" he agree, "she must have come to check us" he said to jodeth.
she turned to him and nodded " I wonder what she must be thinking after not finding us" .
"maybe she went back home thinking we're out with dad" said Joseph
"but Josie what if she is not ok already and not finding us worried her more??" they both were still talking while they heard footsteps.
"I think the king is here" Jo said and Josie nodded.
they both stood up as he entered the antechamber.
He gestured them to sit down.
"So you both were telling me about the black magic?"
he said while sipping on some drink from a heavy crystal goblet.
Joseph looked nervous and looked at his sister while jodeth gave him a reassuring look
"Yes my Lord" she said in a nervous tone
he looked at her and said "Tell me the whole thing again"
she bit her inner cheek and proceeded,
"Our mother use to perform black magic which our father wasn't aware of before marriage, after our birth it is what we have heard that she fell into postpartum depression and was about to harm us using black magic when our father came up, he successfully stopped her and they both got separated. our father took us to this town rest assured is history that we are not aware of, she suddenly showed up today harmed our father to an extent he wasn't able to heal by himself and the royal guards took us here"
Ryle Vaneson nodded he was trying for a very long time to find out the entities behind the abandonment of Mysteropia. He needed to find that woman as she for sure knows something that can help.

"gorgeous name "... his voice was low she wanted to walk ahead but she didn't 'the hell Is wrong with you rose you should be running at this point why are you standing here' she thought to herself
he smiled, "Maybe" chills ran down her spine, he heard her thoughts again.
"you don't know your way back home that's why" she heard his voice just just close to her ear, he was definitely right behind her.
She could feel his hot breath on her right earlobe. she gulped

"oh! do you?" he said leaning down now she could see him from sideview.
She quickly turned and backed of her face pale she definitely was scared.
he burst out laughing
"oh come on lil vamp I'm not really punishing you right here or something" he was enjoying her scared self
She was trying to act normal and looked the other way when out of nowhere a tree caught on fire.
he looked towards the tree red orange flames burning up high, he was totally of guards and looked back at her she was froze at her place
"Rose" he called her out and the fire went down leaving the tree mostly burnt .
She fell on her knees again breathing heavily, he knelt down Infront of her,
"Rose?" he called her name again "are you ok lil vamp?" he looked concerned, she looked at him with eyes all teared up.
That was not the right time to ask her anything he stood up and helped her to stand up again.
They started walking quietly. He was taking her out of the woods first so that it was easy for her to recognize the route back to her house.
The walk was quite, now she was feeling much better. It was her nervousness that made her do that, she knew.
Right now she was thinking about her birthday again, every single time she sees the nightmares or anything like this happens it ultimately forces her to think about her birthday that she doesn't wanna think about at all.
"You didn't tell me what were you running from" he broke the silence.
Roselle kept looking down avoiding his gaze as well as his question.
"nothing" she said in a low voice.
He squinted his eyes and looked at her, 'something is not okay with her' he thought.
there was this strong urge in him to know more about her or else he would have never walked her back home or laughed at her silly scared face a few minutes ago.
