My sevant Nancy said to me.I eagerly got up from my bed and immediately rushed to the main hall where the troops had arrived.My eyes darted around the room,anxiously waiting for my brother to enter.My mom noticed my presence and motioned for me to take my seat next to royal family and compose myself.
Collective gasps of horror filled the hall as my brother came in through the door covered in dirt,grime,and blood.Unable to bear the sight I closed my eyes.He bowed before the throne greeted our father,"Greetings to King Alexander and Queen Tara".The King nodded looked towards his son and said who had raised his head and replied ,"Thank you for your service to this kingdom,we will celebrate your victory with a banquet tonight.
My father dismissed everyone.I wanted to talk to my brother before he left but was stopped of bunch of nobles who wanted to talk to me.
After house of socializing I finally reached his room and knocked on the door before deciding to open it.
I immediately jumped into his arms and hugged him for as long as I could."Caleb,I missed you".Caleb replied saying "I missed you too"He patted my head that was buried in his head"
I finally decided to let him go sat on his bed.
"How have you been?"He asked.
"Bored,because of the vampires Mother and Father won't allow us to go out without guards.Of course the twins still snuck out.
"Is why you cut your hair?"
"Yeah,my way of rebelling against them"
I looked at his hair noticed he had cut and reached out my hands to touch it."You don't like it"

I lowered my hands to his cheek to caress it whiles he held my hand and pressed on his face.We were interrupted by a knock on the door by my maid to get ready for banquet in time.I asked home on the cheek and said goodbye before walking to my room.
