Chapter 2 - 1. Prologue

"I am sorry to say this, but your son has no quirk."

Hearing that, I awakened my Sharingan.

------------

15 years ago, just when I was about to enter high school, I got hit by Truck-kun and got reincarnated in the world of My Hero Academia.

A world that I am not really that familiar with like other animes like Naruto. I did watch some 3-4 episodes, but I have long since forgotten most of it, aside from the fact that All Might is injured and the protagonist inherits his power.

I don't even remember the name of the protagonist. I think he had green hair or something.

Anyway, that really doesn't matter much, because I got Sharingan!

But since it needs extreme emotions and doesn't automatically activate upon reaching a certain age, the doctor mistook me for being quirkless.

Afterall, I have an extra bone in my smallest toe, which has disappeared in most people due to evolution.

And when he told me that I am quirkless, I finally awakened my Sharingan.

...Well, it's still stuck in 1 tomoe stage. And while it does grant me enhanced perception, dynamic vision, a small degree of prediction of attacks, lets me copy movements, remember what I see with it, see people's Quirk energy in different colours, and most importantly, genjutsu, it doesn't actually work on chakra.

So, no superhuman capabilities for me. Only Sharingan.

At first, I thought that it might attract too much attention, so I only listed it as cool eyes that have some illusion ability, given that I will be using genjutsu in the future which will be more noticeable.

But, it isn't really that big of a deal.

Well, it is a very good support type quirk, and as long as I get it to atleast 3 tomoe Sharingan, it will become very great.

I even managed to learn parkour, using kunais, shurikens and steel wires through effort and Sharingan. And I am physically great too.

That's why, I am confident that I will be able to enter UA.

"Then Mom, I am going for the entrance exam!"

"Good luck Kyoya! Dad will be back by tonight, so bring him the good news!"

"Yeah!"

I left home, heading to give the practical entrance exam for my first ever High School experience!

Mom is a lawyer, and Dad is a C-lister hero. So they don't really make that much money.

But I will make sure that I will get into the top rankings!

And earn tons of money!

Afterall, only real fights will give me the extreme emotions to evolve my Sharingan. So, going to the main school where the story takes place is the best place to be to be on the path to be a top hero!

*CRASH!*

"Huh?"

Just as I had left home, a Truck crashed into my house.

W-WHAT!?

"MOM!"

I rushed in, squeezing through the debris, and found mom lying on the ground near the truck, blood—

"It's sauce, Kyouya! I am alright! Truck-kun can't take me out!"

"Thank god! Are you okay!?"

"Yeah! I am fine! You go! You will miss your exam!"

I sighed in relief. Mom looked uninjured.

I glared at the truck driver, who was still sleeping.

"Hey! What the hell!? Wake up! You destroyed our house! You almost hurt Mom!"

"Huh? Where am I? What happened?"

This guy—!

Mom slapped me on the back of my head.

"I will take care of this. I will make sure that we get everything this guy destroyed. You go and give your exams— huh? Your eyes look different! You got two tomoe in each!"

"Huh!?"

Really?

...I don't feel really happy about it though.

"What's with the face? Nothing happened. You just go. I will take care of everything."

Well, Mom is a well-known lawyer. I am sure she will 'take care' of this bastard.

But...

Something tells me Truck-kun is just a prologue to something bad...

"What are you waiting for! Go!"

"Yeah yeah!"

So, I left for school.

I wonder what will be on the practical entrance exam? I aced the written exam, but if the practical one requires beating robots, then I wouldn't be able to get good marks. But if it's fighting humans, then I just might get the top score.

Testing Sharingan, it felt way nicer when compared to single tomoe. I could even predict my hand movements despite abruptly changing course.

It's amazing!

With those thoughts, I took the bullet train, and after a while, arrived in Tokyo.

Woah...

It's my third time coming to this city, but it's still awesome compared to the town our place is.

And finally, I arrived at UA.

Forget what I said. I am still going to ace this exam.

Because, I have Sharingan.
