Chapter 7 - 7. A knockout?

(Historic dimension)

The enemy kingdom slept peacefully, unaware that its king was already awake—thinking several steps ahead.

King William Moke stood near the open window of his chamber, the cold night air brushing against his face. In his hand rested a neatly folded letter. Jacob's seal stared back at him like a poorly hidden lie.

William unfolded it once more and read it slowly, savoring every word.

Five soldiers have entered your kingdom to spy on you.

A low chuckle escaped his lips.

"So this is how you play your game, Jaccob," he murmured.

William was no fool. He knew Jacob's loyalty shifted like sand. The letter was not a warning—it was bait. And William enjoyed nothing more than turning traps into opportunities.

"If five soldiers are expected," he said to himself, "then I shall send five shadows."

He folded the letter carefully and placed it on the table.

"Let chaos grow where certainty is expected."

Silent Faces in a Noisy Market

By sunrise, the market bloomed with life.

Merchants shouted prices. Children ran between stalls. The smell of cooked food filled the air.

And among them walked five strangers.

One worked at a food stall, his movements calm, his eyes sharp. Another folded clothes neatly, pretending to care only about fabric. The remaining three moved through the crowd as traders, laughing, bargaining, blending in effortlessly.

But their real work was silent.

"Is the palace busy these days?"

"Have you seen Lady Erika recently?"

"Has the general returned from the battlefield?"

They asked gently, harmlessly.

At night, they gathered in a single rented room—five men, one dim lamp, and many unanswered questions.

"No trace yet," one whispered.

"Then we wait," another replied.

Waiting was also a weapon.

Preparation Without Words

(Modern dimension)

In the modern dimension, the house was quiet—but tense.

Inside her room, Erika prepared herself, not knowing exactly for what. Her fingers moved with trained discipline as she tied her hair. The fitted clothes beneath her loose outerwear felt familiar—comforting, like armor without metal.

She looked at her reflection briefly.

Another battlefield, she thought.

Across the corridor, Scott adjusted his gloves, exhaling slowly. He didn't know why his heart beat faster than usual. Maybe it was the secrecy. Maybe it was her.

They stepped out of their rooms at the same moment.

Downstairs, Rebecca noticed.

She paused mid-step.

Since when did they walk together like this?

These were the same two who clashed at every opportunity. Yet now, there was silence—not hostile, but steady.

"We're heading out," Scott said casually.

"I'll show Erika around. Somewhere near the park."

Rebecca's instincts flared.

"Take care of her," she said firmly.

"And Erika—no fights. This world doesn't forgive easily."

Erika gave a short nod.

But her eyes said nothing.

The Hidden Arena

From outside, it looked like nothing more than a hotel.

Inside, Scott guided Erika into the elevator.

"Ground floor," he said.

He pressed the button three times.

Erika frowned but said nothing.she felt shock about the elevator since she have not seen something like this and she thought herself that this place will give her so much fun that she never expected in this dimension.

When the doors opened again, sound crashed into her senses.

Shouts.

Cheers.

Metal striking flesh.

Her breath caught.

Below them stretched a vast underground arena—multiple rings, crowds packed tight, bodies moving with raw aggression.

Her shock lasted only a second.

Then came joy.

"Watch," she said suddenly, pointing.

"He's overextending."

Seconds later, the fighter was kicked down.

Scott stared.

"You're analyzing everything."

"This is instinct," she replied quietly.

Her gaze drifted—and the world shifted.

Memory of Defeat(flash back)

Steel rang sharply.

Alexander stood before her, correcting her stance again.

"Control your emotion," he said.

She attacked harder.

She lost. Alexander is really a great friend as well as a great teacher too. Even when she lost to him she didn't feel shame or anger but found someone who she can believe and learn something she loves the most.

The memory burned—not with shame, but resolve.

Worry in the Historic Kingdom

Alexander sat alone when Mira joined him.

"I've been chosen as the general's assistant," he said.

"But she's not here to lead, she should be here when I received this message , I guess it is my unluckyness."

"She will return," Mira said softly. She wanted to comfort Alexander but she is the one who is feeling very lonely without Erika.

Before silence could settle, a messenger ran toward them.

Alexander's expression changed instantly.

A Dangerous Invitation

Inside the palace, King Victor read the letter aloud.

"King William wishes to visit peacefully."

Alexander stepped forward.

"We should increase security."

Victor smiled calmly.

"There is no need."

Hidden in another chamber, Jaccob listened.

His smile was sharp.

Let William kill Victor, he thought.

Then I'll take what remains.I can fool william easily and I will be the one and only conqueror.

(Robotic dimension)

In the robotic dimension, a driverless school bus moved smoothly. It is controlled by amachine , it what really a very smooth drive.

Then—

Silence. The bus crashed .

Children vanished.

Parents screamed.

Complaints flooded stations.

Scientists stared at growing data logs in fear.

"This many cases in four days… impossible."

Deep underground, capsules glowed—children floating inside liquid.

A woman checked readings.

"Stable."

Behind her, a red-skinned figure watched calmly. He have three hands were one is placed in his back. He seemed cold and strong, his eyes was filled with full evilness.

"Proceed," he said.

(Modern dimension)

Back underground, the crowd roared. Scott already gave the name of Erika for fighting. At first they thought to select a competitor as a male but moments later they selected a female opponent for her. The female opponent seemed lean but Erika was not like others, she was prepared for everything.

Erika stepped into the ring.

The opponent punched in Erika 's elbow first and then she punched in her face . It all happened in a fraction of seconds.

She fell.

Blood touched her lips.

For the first time in a long while—

Erika smiled by sitting in the ring.
