Chapter 4 - New World

"Ugh… this has happened twice now. Where the hell am I?" Ernes groaned.

"You're finally awake, shithead," Viola said, irritation dripping from her voice.

Right. She was here. Serves her right.

"WHY did you use the last wish on me?" Viola snapped, fury flashing in her eyes.

"Well, because you killed me. It's only fair you get punished too," Ernes said, grinning.

"You—ugh! Why the hell did this happen to me?" Viola muttered, collapsing into a chair with a defeated sigh.

"So… where are we? Is this the One Piece world?" Ernes asked.

"We're on an unknown island, surrounded by ocean. And right now, we're in a small wooden house," Viola replied.

Ernes looked around. All he saw was a bed and another room that looked like a kitchen.

"So we've got a kitchen and a bed…"

Suddenly, Ernes rushed into the kitchen, checking every corner.

Nothing.

No food.

"What are we gonna do about food?!" Ernes yelled.

"Oh, please. Food isn't a problem," Viola said arrogantly. "Even if I lost my job, I still have my goddess abilities. I can summon food, fly, and store things."

"Really? That's incredible!" Ernes said, eyes lighting up.

"And why exactly do you think I'd share anything with you?" Viola snapped.

"Pretty please, Viola?"

"…Alright then," Viola said flatly.

"Wow. Was it really that easy?" Ernes said, surprised. "Is it because I said please? It really is magical, huh?"

Viola didn't say anything. She simply lowered her gaze, a faint sadness flickering across her face.
