Davidson had just walked into his room to find Daisy sitting saucily on his bed. He heaved a sigh as he walked up to sit beside her.
"What do you want?"
"Stay away from Jasmine, Hills." She said. She was the only one dating enough to always address him by his last name.
"And what if I don't?" He smirked." What would you do?"
"I would send your soul to Hades if the need arises." She replied and he gave a light chuckle. "Just leave her and concentrate on your numerous bitches. I'm sure you've got a ton of them."
"And what if I decide that I don't want any of them anymore but your Jasmine is all I crave?"
"Hills!" Daisy screamed as she jumped on him, pining him down with a knife to his neck. "Don't dare me."
"The pleasure is all mine," he smirked as she pressed the blade into his neck. In no time, trickles of blood ran down.
"Finish what you started," Davidson urged her on.
At that moment, the door was flung open and Daisy's fiancée who happened to be Davidson's best friend walked in on them.
"Holy carp!" He muttered as he walked towards them and flipped Daisy over." What the hell do you think you are doing?"
"Leave me alone to deal with this motherfucker."
"What did he do this time?" Jayden asked.
"He is lusting after Jasmine!!"
"What??" He was shocked." What has come over you?"
"Point of correction, I'm not one to lust after a lady. I love Jasmine and all I ask is for Daisy to give me a chance with her but the good thing is that she is ready to drive a blade into my throat rather than hearing me out."
"Both of you must be losing your minds. Dave, you can't go after Jasmine and you know it."
Davidson filed his arm dramatically. "And why?"
"Are you kidding me? You are the son of the greatest Mafia lord, Bryan Hills. She would never accept you." Daisy sighed.
"And you know your mum, of all people would never accept a normie for her daughter-in-law."
"And does it look like I care? The only thing ringing in my head is that I want her so badly. And I must get her by any means possible. Besides, she would never know I'm Davison Bryan Hills."
"So,you are going to live up to a lie. Do you think she would never find out? Eventually she will and she would hate you for it. No true relationship is ever built on the foundation of lies." Daisy added.
"The both of you should stop acting like you care. It makes me nauseous."
"I can only promise you one thing,Hills, if Jasmine ever shed a drop of tear because of you, I swear it , you would shed your blood for her." Daisy said and made to work out of the room." Excuse me."
"Damn man, this is crazy," Jayden said and gave him a friendly punch before going after his fiancé.
Davidson sighed as he slumped into his bed. He knew they were right. He and Jasmine were clearly worlds apart but he was sure that there was no way he was going to ever lose her to another man.
He was never one to believe in love. To him, it was an emotion that makes one weak through the act of blackmail. All that ever and truly matters was power and he made sure that he wielded it with full force.
His name was well known in the underground world and no one who has ever dared to cross his path had lived to tell the story. He was ruthless to a fault and his father was proud of him.
He remembered with a smile the very day he met Jasmine for the very first time. He had just dealt a drastic blow to the opposition mafia group and was looking for where to cool off. He could not say what attracted him to that very restaurant for there was nothing special about the name or maybe it was his curiosity to try out new places although he passed the restaurant by quite often.
He had walked into the building taking into consideration it's surroundings. The place was simple and extremely beautiful and he nodded in silent approval.
He walked up to a chair and sat down as the waiter approached him.
"May I take your order, sir?" She smiled as she handed him the menu.
He had glanced through and was surprised with the meals in the menu. He didn't expect such restaurant to be this loaded. He made his order and she left to get it.
Few seconds later, Jasmine walked out dressed in plain working clothes but her beauty was outstanding. He found himself staring at her which was so unusual of him. She flashed a sweet smile at the customers who had recognized her and she hurried to serve one of her favorite customers.
"Hey!" He called out to her in his deep masculine voice. "I want you to serve my table when you are done."
Surprisingly, she smiled and nodded in approval.
After she was done, she turned to walk towards his table. Then he sat, his total concentration on his face and his handsome face was covered of with a nose mask but there was no doubt that he was good looking.
"Ahem!" She coughed to get his attention and he looked up." Can I get your orders now?"
He told her what she wanted and she came back with it. She served the meal like an expertise that she was and was about to leave when he stopped her.
"I'm sorry but what's your name?" He couldn't help but ask.
"I'm Jasmine." She had replied simply and left.
He found himself staring after her even after she left. Was she human?? He kept on asking himself. He couldn't believe he had fallen for a girl at first sight. If this feelings he was developing was what they called love, then he was ready to give it a trial.
At that very moment, he swore within himself that she would be his; no one else's but his and his alone. No matter what it takes.
