That night I couldn't sleep IDK if I was hungry but moms words lingered in my ear "your mentally unstable" what those she mean I mean it could be the shit she says when she drunk. But this felt different it felt true but I could just be over thinking it. Idk.
I also can't sleep because every time I close my eyes a image of a boy covered in a lot of fucking blood in a basement crying and then all the sudden a image of me and my cousin in a hospital gowns hugging each other scared to death would show than I wake and it's just a dream
The next morning mom dropped me at aunt Elise's house I was so happy to see my cousin her name is Felicia and she was older then me by 2 years. I also have another cousin named Fredrick he is the same age Felicia but 2 months older and thats because Felicia was adopted.
As Felicia showed me around they had just moved as well
Then I suddenly thought was I burden to them? were they forced to take me?

Later that Night I was up doom scrolling on my phone when aunty called me when I got down stairs It was pure silence
"What do you need aunty" I said trying not to sound scared
"On monday you'll start school okay" she said with forced smile

That was weirder than usual
