Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: Practical Combat Class Teacher

Soon, Iruka Umino-sensei arrived in the classroom, carrying his lesson plans.

The noisy Ninja Academy students quickly quieted down upon seeing him, preparing to listen.

"Students, before we begin class today, I want to introduce a new teacher to everyone."

Iruka stood on the podium, his gaze sweeping across the class. "For the foreseeable future, he will occasionally come to instruct your practical combat classes."

Seeing that the students' curiosity had been piqued and the classroom was silent, Iruka clapped his hands and said towards the door, "Might Guy-sensei, please come in."

As soon as he finished speaking, a green figure entered gracefully from the doorway like a whirlwind, standing steadily beside the podium. His iconic jumpsuit and bowl cut instantly drew all eyes.

"Hello, students! I am Might Guy!"

He flashed a wide, toothy grin, his shining teeth seemingly cutting through the air with a flash of light, his voice loud and full of vitality.

Huh?!

Naruto, sitting in the back row, widened his eyes the moment he saw the figure, his mind instantly filled with question marks.

This isn't right, is it? Why is Might Guy at the Ninja Academy?!

Shouldn't he be out on missions or undergoing his crazy training?

Before Naruto could think further, Might Guy continued to announce in his infectious voice, "Hello, students! I am Might Guy! I am here by order of Hokage-sama, and my goal is to let everyone experience the essence of youth with me!"

He gave an exaggerated yet utterly sincere thumbs-up. "For the next month, I will temporarily be your practical combat teacher! Let us sweat it out together and burn with youth! Woo-oh—!!"

Seeing the students' shocked expressions, Iruka introduced, "Your Might Guy-sensei is a Jonin who is very proficient in Taijutsu. If you have any questions about Taijutsu, you can ask him."

Proficient in Taijutsu?

Hearing Might Guy's self-introduction, many students in the classroom showed expressions of disapproval, some even feeling a sense of disdain.

In their common understanding, the so-called Taijutsu seemed to have a limited ceiling.

Because in Konoha, and even the entire Ninja World, when it comes to the pinnacle of Taijutsu, people first think of Gentle Fist.

And Gentle Fist is the inherited secret technique of the Hyuga Clan, relying on the Byakugan to perceive Chakra points for precise internal organ or pressure point strikes.

With the Hyuga Clan's Gentle Fist already setting such a high standard, it was difficult to immediately believe this hot-blooded teacher in a strange, tight-fitting suit who looked somewhat comical and claimed to be "proficient in Taijutsu."

Only Naruto, sitting in the back row, had a clear understanding in his heart. He knew that these classmates' thoughts were completely wrong.

Only Naruto knew how terrifyingly powerful this seemingly comical Might Guy truly was.

Currently, he already possessed the terrifying strength to "destroy a Village by himself."

In his assessment, even if Guy-sensei only opened the Seventh Gate of Shock, he wouldn't need to flee from a typical Kage-level expert.

That was already a combat power standing at the apex of the Ninja World.

And if Might Guy went all out and opened the final Eighth Gate of Death... Naruto shuddered just thinking about that power, which transcended common sense.

He was practically a walking nuclear weapon!

A walking natural disaster!

At that level, unless you reached the Six Paths level like Uchiha Madara or possessed Space-Time Ninjutsu like Uchiha Obito and Minato Namikaze, it didn't matter if you were a renowned expert in the Ninja World or possessed any Bloodline Limit; in the face of the Night Guy, a kick that burned life and transcended death, all was meaningless.

There was only one outcome—being sent directly to the Pure Land with a single kick, to meet the Six Paths Sage!

Some students who had previously seen Naruto and Might Guy undergoing those "inhuman" training sessions near the Village outskirts or training grounds now subconsciously turned their gaze to Naruto, who was sitting by the window in the back row, with curious eyes.

Following the students' gazes, Might Guy immediately saw Naruto in the back row.

Naruto is here too?

Guy was stunned for a moment, then a brilliant idea exploded in his mind like a flash of lightning.

He instantly had a method to allow the students to most directly and quickly recognize and feel the power of his "essence of youth"!

Instead of wasting his breath explaining, it was better to let them witness it firsthand.

To witness the strength of their peer, someone among them!

What could better prove his teaching results than a living classmate who attended classes with them?

Just thinking about that scene made Guy feel his blood boil.

Naruto stood in the training ground, fighting him, the aura of youth radiating throughout the school.

He seemed to already see sweat and passion clashing in the classroom, sparking flames.

Let the sweat of youth boil freely in this Ninja Academy!

"Alright!"

Might Guy slammed his fist into his palm, his eyes burning with impatience, and his booming voice echoed through the classroom. "Since all the students are so eager (he unilaterally believed), then let's have practical combat class this morning! Let the clash of youth be even more intense!"

"Huh?"

Iruka Umino-sensei, standing nearby, instantly showed a bewildered expression, as if a huge question mark had appeared above his head.

What... what's going on?

The practical combat teacher... stole the academic class teacher's lesson?

It should be known that Ninja Academy classes usually run from 8 AM to around 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM, varying slightly.

Generally, academic classes are in the morning and practical combat classes in the afternoon, with a lunch break from 12 PM to 1:30 PM.

If the morning class was taken, then today's academic class would have to be made up tomorrow.

The new Guy-sensei is too decisive, is he going to take them directly to the training ground now?

However, Iruka looked at Guy's infectious enthusiasm and the eyes of some students below the stage already sparkling. He smiled helplessly and scratched his head.

Oh well.

It was the new teacher's first time, and it was a good opportunity for him to get acquainted with the students. Building an impression through practical combat might also be a good idea.

"Alright."

Iruka-sensei clapped his hands to get the students' attention back. "Then, as Guy-sensei said, this class will be changed to practical combat training. Everyone proceed orderly to Training Ground Three, and be careful!"

"Alright!"

Upon hearing that they wouldn't have boring academic classes in the morning, many students, especially energetic ones like Inuzuka Kiba, immediately perked up, their faces showing excitement and anticipation, and a small cheer erupted in the classroom.

However, in stark contrast to this enthusiastic atmosphere, Nara Shikamaru slumped limply onto his desk like a puddle of mud, burying his entire face in his arms and letting out a weak sigh:

"Ugh... such a drag..."

For him, quietly attending academic classes in the classroom and slacking off was such an easy and pleasant thing to do.

"Alright, let's go together."

Seeing Shikamaru's sluggish appearance, Choji, beside him, was already used to it.

He calmly ate his potato chips, then gently nudged Shikamaru, who was sprawled on the table, with his chubby elbow, reminding him concisely:

"He's Naruto's teacher."

These words seemed to carry a peculiar magic.

Shikamaru, who had been like a puddle of mud, paused slightly, then slowly and reluctantly lifted his head.

He scratched his already messy pineapple-shaped hair and finally sighed in resignation:

"...Fine."

Although he still found it troublesome, since this was a teacher that Naruto respected, and who might have even taught Naruto many skills, perhaps seeing him in action... wouldn't be a complete waste of time.
