"I'm late!!! Oh, I definitely got to be late this time!!!" Noir rushed toward the washroom while looking at the clock.
After she dress up, she quickly eats some breakfast as fast as she could. This have been her daily routine in the past nine months working at the Imperial Alliance. Nine months ago, she been promoted from Sleuth to Sergeant and transferred to Imperial Alliance from her hometown at the Epiphyllum Town. She lives in the big old mansion not far from the Alliance building which she buys after a month working there.
After breakfast, Noir go to back of the mansion where the stable situated. A black horse stop drinking the water after hearing her approaching it. The black horse really one sturdy horse with a lightning birthmark on it neck. The black horse has been with Noir since she was 12 years old as it was her birthday present from her mother. Meanwhile, her father is the one that teaching her to ride the horse which eventually she becomes really good at it. Black horse is known as the wildest horse in the kingdom and only a few people can tame them. Eventually, Noir is one of the people and she manage to be it partner which making them inseparable. Noir name her horse "Lightning" because of the birthmark on its neck. In addition, Lightning has the ability to judge human characters, and it only let other touch him when it deems the person good and trustable. Noir come close to it and patted it gently.
"Morning Lightning! Come on, let's go now. I really late for work." Noir said. The horse only snorted as it knew his master habit of lateness. Noir hope on him and Lightning galloping fast toward the Imperial Alliance.
Noir put her horse at the stable and run toward her department. All the members look at her and ignore her behaviour as they knew she always like this every morning since she transferred here. Some of the members greet her along the way as she runs faster toward her department.
"Safe!!!" Noir yelled making her other colleagues turn toward the door and shake their head. Some greet her good morning and some just smile to see her antic.
"Wow, you break your personal record. 5 minutes earlier from last week." Said a woman with long straight hair that seated not far from the door.
Noir walked toward the seat beside her and sat down. She takes a deep breath and relaxes down a bit. The woman just smiles and shakes her head.
"Seriously Violet, did you always record my time?" Noir said.
"Yes, it really fun to tease you when you're late." She replied making Noir sweat drop.
"Do you know I am your boss?" Noir teased back.
"I know and as a subordinate, I will always remind you about your lateness." Violet replied.
"How in the world I have subordinate like you." Noir said looking at Violet which making both of them burst into laughter.
A guy with a file come toward Noir desk and give the file to her. Violet gone back toward her own desk and begin to read the paperwork on her desk.
"Mem, this is the file case you been searching for. And this is the new file recruitments for our department." the guy reported.
"Thanks, Wellis. New recruitments? When?" Noir wondered.
"Don't worry Wellis. Let's me explained to her. You know how forgetful she is." Violet said.
"You can go continue your work now, Wellis." Noir said.
"Yes, mem." Wellis said and walk toward his desk to continue his work.
Noir asked Violet to sit in front of her. Violet huffed while walked toward Noir and sit in front of her desk.
"We have new recruitments?" Noir asked.
"Seriously, you're our Sergeant. It is your responsibility to remember this kind of things." Violet said.
"How come I didn't know?" Noir tried remembering again.
"I told you already last week boss. There will be a new Lieutenant replacing Lieutenant Topaz that have been retired. Our headquarters also recruits two more Sergeant to our department in helping with our operation." Violet explained making Noir simpering.
"I think I really forgot about it." Noir grinned. Violet just rolled her eyes.
"You need to get married quickly so that someone can remind you always." Violet said with annoyed.
"It still too early, I want to enjoy my life first." Noir replied.
"Enjoying your life? You already on at the age to get married, girl." Said a woman that just walk into the department.
"Too early, I have a life to enjoy, Bleu. Don't worry." Noir shrugged.
"How can we not worry, you're the only single one in our department." Bleu said making Noir other colleagues agreed with her.
"Ow… you all bully me. I know you all already have partner. It is not fair bully a single woman like me." Noir said with dramatic tone.
"The only guy that will fall in love with our mem is the craziest one." Said a guy name Ian. Other just agreed making Noir irritated.
"Ian..." Noir said with low angry tone.
"Oh no! Run the she-devil going to come out!!!" Ian runs out from the department with his other friend trail behind.
"Wait all of you. I will double your shift this week!!!" Noir run toward the door and yelled angrily earning a sweat drop from her other colleagues and other Alliance's members nearby. Noir walk into the department and sit again at her desk. Bleu just laughed out while Violet smirked.
"You know what he said is right. Only crazy person will fall in love with she-devil like you." Bleu commented.
"Hey, I know you already engage and she already have boyfriend. Just let me be single for now. I have a life to enjoy." Noir annoyed. Violet laughed.
"Alright, I stop teasing you for now. You know I have some information." Bleu said slyly which getting attention from Violet.
"If you two want to gossip, go to your own desk." Noir said.
"No, it is about our new Lieutenant and the new recruits." Bleu said.
"Tell us quick!" Violet said excitedly. Noir just rolled her eyes but still want to hear the information about it.
"They said our new Lieutenant is a guy and the two new recruits are Sergeant." Bleu explained.
"That's mean we have addition Sergeant report for duty. He or she?" Violet interrupted.
"One female sergeant and one male sergeant. I also hear the three of them are the same age with us. I don't know their name yet. But they said the file already passed to us." Bleu added. Violet look at Noir and the file on the desk.
"What?" Noir said when Violet stared at her.
"Fine." Noir said after Violet and Blue stared at the file on her desk. She opened the file and began reading it.
"The two Sergeant name are Rosa Perla and Mavi Saphir." Noir said.
"Who is our Lieutenant then?" Bleu asked excitedly.
"Well, it seems that he just got promoted and from Peony City. Let me see…" Noir said and continue reading and found the full name of her new Lieutenant.
"Luz Rubeus…" Noir said while staring at Luz photo in the file.
