Black Serpent is the criminal organization that being hunted by the Alliance in the Elem Kingdom. This organization has many members in every city and town of Elem Kingdom which hard for the Alliance to know where their main hideout. They can be known by the tattoo of a serpent on their body which hard to be identified because they usually put it either on their back, arms or legs.
Lately, Luz being receiving a new information about the organization from someone called 'Phantom'. When he clarified the information to the higher up, he surprises when his superior said the information is correct and 'Phantom' is actually one of the member of Alliance Elite Team (AET), Shadow Team. He really curious how Phantom know he was investigating the Black Serpent activity and whereabouts. A knock on the door making him turn toward the source. Mavi walk inside seeing his best friend been absorb in thought.
"Luz, what are you thinking of?" Mavi asked.
"This information. I just got it yesterday on my desk." Luz answered.
"From Phantom?" Mavi confirmed. Luz nods his head.
"It seems that the Serpent plan to rob the jewellery store. Go gather the others. We must catch them." Luz ordered.
"Yes, Lieutenant." Mavi saluted and went out to gather their team.
Cafe opposite the jewellery store...
Two guys sitting next to the window of the cafe which the window is position directly toward the jewellery store. Another guy came in and greet them. They talk like they haven't seen each other for a long time. The guy that just come in excuse himself to go to the toilet when the waitress delivered their meal.
"Miss, where is the toilet?" he asked.
"Just walk to the back and turn right. The toilet is beside the back door." the waitress replied.
"Thank you." He thanks her and walks toward the toilet.
The other two guys quickly eat their meals and leaving a message to the waitress to give it to the other guy that went to the toilet earlier. Both of them went out and walk separate way but the truth is both of the guy is the member of Black Serpent. They observe the jewellery store to plan for robbing it. Both of them walk into the alley and putting their mask on. They both rush toward the back door of the jewellery store and one of the starts using his power.
"Dark mist!" the guy shouted. Dark mist spreading inside the jewellery store making all the customer panic. The other guy throws something toward the crowd and making all of them asleep.
"You're late. We need to be hurry. There are Alliance member in here." the third guy that going to the toilet said. Both of them scooped all the jewelleries into a bag.
"Finn, Gil I need to go. I gone for too long. The waitress will be suspected." the third guy with the mask on said.
"Alright, we meet you at the other side, Raz." Finn said. Raz run out toward the back door and quickly go back toward the cafe.
The front cafe crowded with people witnessing the jewellery store being cover up with dark mist. Raz walk out from the toilet while being witness by the waitress that going toward the toilet to knock on the door after she feel the guy has been too long inside.
"Stomachache?" the waitress said after she saw Raz close the toilet door behind.
"Yeah, maybe something I ate this morning." Raz said sheepishly. The commotion making Raz look toward the source.
"What happen?" Raz asked as the customers gather more toward the window.
"The jewellery store been robbed." the waitress replied and both of them walk toward the jewellery store that been guarded by the Alliance.
Raz look toward the alley and surprise when he spots his two members already dead while a guy in Alliance attire examines both of them with the help of another guy. A woman run toward the two guys.
"Wow Lieutenant Luz, you really defeated them." Rosa said.
Raz look at Luz with anger, but he controls it because he didn't want other to suspect him. Another four Alliance members get the body on the stretcher. Gil body cover with blood as his body been pierced by a blade while Finn body cover with heavy cut and drench with water mix with blood all over it. Raz looking at Finn drenched body and look back at Luz using his waterpower to clean his hand outside the crime scene. Finn is his best friend and Raz swore to get revenge on Luz one day. He then walks out from there.
Before the incident happen...
Finn and Gil run toward the alley and stop at the corner. Finn and Gil remove their mask and walk casual toward the entrance of the alley. Both of them alert when they heard the Alliance troop came.
"How in the world they knew?" Finn said.
"Water blade." Gil said and the blade point toward Finn. Finn shocked.
"You... You're traitor. You work with Alliance." Finn said and defence himself with his dark power.
Both of them fight and both end up killing each other.
"Even if I die, we will defeat your organization." Gil said looking at Finn body fall down dead before he passed out completely.
Meanwhile after the fight incident ...
A black hoodie figure stood at the two dead body. Luz is the first one arrive there and saw the hoodie figure. The person also covers half of the face with a face mask and seem surprised to saw Luz there.
"Who are you? Are you the one killed them?" Luz asked.
"No, when I came, they are already dead. And you are?" the hoodie person asked.
"Luz, Lieutenant Luz. May I know who you are miss?" Luz asked with caution when he saw the hoodie figure is a girl.
"Phantom. It seems that they have another member because they rob the store earlier than expected." Phantom said.
"He is one of us. It seems that they already know." Luz sighed pointing toward Gil.
"I hope you give him proper send off. A hero like him is need to be proud of." Phantom said.
"Yeah, I will." Luz said.
"Then, we shall meet again Lieutenant." Phantom said and disappeared while cover with dark mist.
"Wait!" Luz yelled but it's already too late as the figure disappeared into the thin air.
"A dark element wielder... Interesting..." Luz murmured.
