Noir waiting patiently at the Imperial City train station. She eager to meet her sworn brother and his wife. She also wants to introduce Raven to them. Half an hour passed but the train from Rose City already pass its arrival time. Raining has started 10 minutes ago and become more heavier by minutes. She looks at the clock at the station as the train that she waiting still haven't come. Her handphone suddenly rang. Noir answered it as it shows her sworn brother's mother name on it.
"Auntie, how are you? Vert and Groen haven't arrive yet. Did their train delay?" Noir asked.
"Noir... Both of them died in the train explosion just half an hour ago." the woman said while crying.
"What did you mean? What explosion? Auntie don't joke about this kind of thing." Noir said as her heart pounding when she hears that her sworn brother and his wife died.
"No. That's the truth. They already leave us, Noir." the woman cry harder.
Not long after that, the train station broadcast the explosion incident and list out all the victim that caught in the explosion. Two name caught Noir attention. The handphone on her hand slip down as she can't believe what just happen. She sits down crying and many of the passengers also do the same as her because they are the victim's family that waiting for the victims to come back at Imperial City.
Noir feeling empty inside. She grabs her handphone and walks out from the station. It's still raining heavily but she didn't care anymore. She just walks aimlessly letting the rain wash up her tears. She didn't go back to the department to continue her work. She just walking without any emotion shows on her face.
As the night falls, the rain still hasn't stop. After walking for so long, she decides to go home. She just let her phone ringing as her colleagues try to reach her because she never come back to the department.
At Noir's mansion...
Violet and Bleu that didn't know about the incident are chatting with Scarlet, Luz, Mavi and Rosa. Lumiere also sitting there and watching the others talking while sipping her milk tea. Luz phone rang and Ian name shows on it.
"What is it, Ian? Is there any emergency?" Luz answered making the others stop talking.
"Lieutenant, did Sergeant Noir come back home? We try to reach her, but she didn't answer her phone. She supposed to come back 5 hours ago but she didn't come. We really worried if there something happen to her." Ian explained making Luz stand up.
"She's missing?" Luz worried making Violet and Bleu looking at each other and try guessing what Luz talking about.
"Who's missing?" Mavi asked when Luz face full of worried which get Scarlet attention as she knows her nephew won't become this worried unless the person is important to him.
"Noir..." Luz answered making Violet and Bleu shocked.
It is raining heavily outside with a few lightning strikes. Luz that stands in the direction of window caught a figure walking toward the mansion slowly. He runs towards the door as his heart pounding hard. As Luz arrive outside, he froze. He saw Noir walking toward the mansion and her body drenched wet. Luz run toward Noir with concerned.
"Noir!" Luz shouted.
Noir stop walking and look toward Luz that also drenched in the rain. The others shocked to see Noir state. Noir just stood there silently.
"Noir, what happen?" Luz asked gently. Noir tears drop down from her eyes.
Without thinking, Luz hugged her making her cry harder on his shoulder. Luz comfort her and letting her cry all she wants. Noir cry until she falls asleep in Luz arms.
"What happen to you, Noir?" Luz murmured and carried her in bridal style into the mansion.
In the mansion...
Luz already changes his clothes and walk toward Noir's room. Noir sleep soundly on her bed with puffy eyes. Violet and Bleu sit beside her bed looking worried as they first time to see Noir in that state. Rosa and Lumiere just stand beside the edge of Noir bed looking concern but clearly didn't want others to see it. Mavi stand at Violet back while Scarlet taking the temperature on Noir's forehead using her left hand.
"She didn't have any fever. Just let her rest." Scarlet said making them relief. Luz sit down at the sofa near the bed.
"What really happen to her?" Violet said while holding her best friend hand.
"I have done some investigation with the help of others, and they said there was an explosion incident at Rose City train station. The train that about to depart from there to Imperial City exploded after taking off." Luz explained.
"What it's got to do with Noir?" Rosa asked.
"Her sworn brother and his wife died in that explosion." Luz replied making them shocked.
"Noir..." Violet hold Noir's hand tightly. Bleu at her side tried to comfort her.
"Don't worry Violet, she's not alone. We all here with her." Bleu said. Violet nodded agree.
"How about we go out and let her rest." Scarlet suggested.
"But..." Violet hesitated.
"Both of you need full rest because she really needs you tomorrow after awake. I will take care of her tonight." Scarlet suggested.
"Don't worry, I will accompany, my aunt. Mavi, can you tell Raven about this? I don't know how to break this news to him." Luz said. Lumiere and Rosa tried to disagree with Luz decision but stop when Luz look at them with serious face.
They all walk out from the room except for Scarlet and Luz that sitting at the sofa. Scarlet makes some tea to drink and looking at Noir with a sighed.
"She's the one that help us this morning." Scarlet said while sipping her tea.
"Yeah, Mavi told me about it." Luz replied also sipping his tea.
"Who is she to you, Luz?" Scarlet asked again. Luz looks at his aunt in the eyes. He sighed.
"I don't know. I feel like I know her all my life. When I saw her in that state, my heart feels pain. It just like half of my life being pull out from my body." Luz bend down a little and rubbing his head with both his hand. He then sits up straight and looks at his aunt again.
"I once tell you about my dream, right?" Luz continued. Scarlet nodded.
"I just feels that she is 'Phantom' that I am searching for." Luz added.
"Seems like my nephew already falling in love." Scarlet teased making Luz blush. Scarlet smiles.
"Have you told her about your feeling?" Scarlet asked.
"No. I want to get to know her more before I confess." Luz said.
"Very well then, we take turn to take care of her. You first, wake me up 2 hours later." Scarlet said. Luz nodded agree and letting his aunt to take some nap before switching with him.
Midnight in Noir's room...
Noir waking up and confused to see her sleeping on her bed. She looks at surrounding and see Luz fall asleep at her sofa while the woman that she saved yesterday fall asleep sitting on the other sofa. Noir remember what happen after she come back to her house. Luz is the one that comfort her when she feel helpless. She steps down from her bed and walk toward her wardrobe. She pulled out two blankets from the drawer and walk towards Scarlet and Luz. She first put the blanket on Scarlet before going to Luz and cover his body with the blanket.
Scarlet stirred up when she feels warm and wake up to see Noir putting blanket over her sleeping nephew. She smiles.
"Miss, are you feeling alright?" Scarlet asked making Noir jumped. Scarlet apologised for scaring her.
"Noir, call me Noir. May I know who you are, mam?" Noir asked.
"I'm Scarlet, Luz's aunt. Call me Aunt Scarlet." Scarlet replied.
"Are you feeling better?" Scarlet added.
"Yes, thank you for taking care of me." Noir thanks her.
"You are important to Luz. Are Luz important to you?" Scarlet said suddenly making Noir surprised. She looks at Scarlet.
"Light and dark coexist with each other. He is my half as well as I am to him." Noir said looking out from her window. Scarlet smile to know that both of them like each other.
