Vogue could only raise his arms up to guard his face and ribs as he tried his best to block all he could. In just a few seconds, he was being cornered by her attacks.
Vogue gritted his teeth as he felt an insane amount of force colliding and rattling his bones and internal organs.
Blood started escaping the side of his lips as the attacks continued. She was overwhelming him and he knew if he didn't escape now and gets more injured, his speed would slow down.
She suddenly spun around and sent a whipping kick at Vogue's thigh!
This strike sounded like an explosive jet taking off.
If this attack hit, his bone would definitely break upon impact.
Vogue immediately activated Steller Path. His thigh expanded to twice their size as he flashed backward.
"Whoosh!"
The air trembled and even the whiplash from the attack drew blood on Vogue's thigh.
The miss causing Claire's entire body to lose balance in a flash. This was the first time the she was forced into the open.
The offense that was like flowing quicksilver was broken forcibly. It was like the super-fast tempo of a song was forced to come to an end spontaneously.
Vogue immediately took a step forward as he sent a massive kick forward towards her exposed flank.
"Falling Sun!"
Vogue had reached a real. In his combat skill where he could activate each move with any part of his body.
His massive leg tore through the air like a wrecking ball and the force of a meteor.
It collided against Claire's ribs with a massive "bang"!
Shockwave echoed through the air as the entire room shook once more from the explosive force even a punching bag that was originally dangling from the ceiling shook violently despite no one touching it.
In that instant, Vogue followed up with his ultimate move.
"Cruel Sun!"
Instantly, there was a sudden spark as Vogue's body released massive amount of steam, almost like a roaring engine coming to life.
The temperature in the immediate vicinity instantly increased.
His pores opened fully, releasing heat that had been building in his core, and the steam poured off him in rolling waves.
The force from Vogue's attacked had forced Claire to stagger two steps backwards from the force and before she could recover, a wave of heat suddenly surged over towards her.
Her face changed slightly as a massive smile hung in her face. She saw Vogue's entire skin turn red as he appeared behind her in an inconceivable speed!
If he was moving 60m/s previously he was now moving more than 150m/s!
His eyes were extremely red with veins bulging all over his neck, face, cover of his eyes and thighs.
Vogue stood an inch behind Claire. They were so close that Claire could feel the intense heat radiating from him.
She immediately knew he had activated Cruel Sun.
Vogue's hand left a steamy trail in the air as he slapped directly at her spine.
"KA-BOOM!"
A visible shockwave blasted through the arena as though a grenade had exploded. The massive amount of force tire through the various objects in the room.
Claire was instantly sent flying out of the ring like a rag doll with no stings.
However, before she collided with the reinforced wall, she adjusted her body mid-flight and stood on the wall itself, her feet making contact and her knees bending to absorb the tremendous force. The wall cracked behind her from the impact, spiderweb shape spreading outward.
On her back, one could see an extremely crimson palm print that released steam almost like poison, the heat from Vogue's hand having actually burned through her clothing and left a brand on her skin.
Claire dropped to the ground, a massive smile in her lips as she said in mild surprise. "You've actually mastered Cruel Sun."
Vogue's crimson skin started to recover as he cancelled Cruel Sun. The move was a combination of all five moves into one, making it incredibly draining to him.
He huffed and puffed and almost blew himself away as he tried to suck in as much oxygen as possible. Even went out of the ring and grabbed a bottle of water to consume.
Claire watched him drink and didn't interrupt him. After a while, his complexion turned normal and Vogue responded by nodding his head.
Claire smiled sweetly. "Can you teach me then?"
Vogue was about to accept but immediately haggled. "Wha are you willing to do for it?"
Claire's smile instantly froze as she frowned. "It's no wonder Hazel broke up with you."
Vogue raised an eyebrow. "What are you thinking? I mean this much will you pay me for it!"
Claire responded with an 'oh,' a slight flush of embarrassment coloring her cheeks as she realized her mistake. "I will pay you 5000 credits everyday you teach me the Cruel Sun."
Vogue was immediately happy, unable to suppress the grin that spread across his face. Five thousand credits was half his monthly expenses including his house rent!
"Deal!"
But then he remembered something. "You're part of the Elite class, shouldn't they have thought you elite students Human grade skill or even Earth Grade skills?"
Claire grabbed a towel from the wall hanger and cleaned her sweaty skin. "We've learnt higher grade techniques but the Basic Dawn Combat technique which is an ordinary grade technique when mastered to the highest level is comparable to Human grade techniques and even consume way less energy."
She then gazed at Vogue smugly. "If I had used those techniques to battle you, the battle would have been over in five seconds."
Vogue glanced at the Ice queen who was smiling smugly at him. It turns out she's a battle maniac. He shook his head at her words but didn't respond.
While he would get exhausted using Cruel Sun, if he risked everything, there was no way she would have come out alive. A battle to the death between to of them would be intense but Vogue was certain he would wipe the floor with her.
Not to mention his clones, just his regenerative ability and his pain nullification, he would only fight to exchange injury for injury and that's all it would take. Moreover, he could use Cruel Sun to enhance his strength until his body breaks down then he would use his regeneration ability to heal himself and do it all over again!
