Bella's POV
The journey from my Winter Wing to Ursula's quarters stretched quite far. I needed to traverse a lengthy covered walkway, pass beside a pond, and move through an archway before arriving at the Heron Villa where Ursula resided.
Approaching the pond, I spotted Ivy's courtyard in the distance, alive with commotion.
Servants and young attendants moved back and forth, some bearing snacks, others carrying medicinal herbs. What drew my attention most were the fresh fruits.
Initially, I paid it little mind, but Daisy, staring wistfully toward that direction, remarked, "Lord Jasper truly dotes on Lady Ivy. He even delivered some rare fruits to her."
I halted and spun around, fixing Daisy with a frigid stare. "If you wish to visit the Lilac Woods, speak plainly. I won't prevent you.
However, while you remain in the Winter Wing, you'll abide by my commands."
Daisy's face drained of color as she quickly bowed. "I meant nothing by it! I was mistaken."
