Julien had been driving for about three hours. He spent quite a long time on Hinch, because that was the place where Victor met Lydia the last time. But after visiting numerous popular places in the city with no sign of Lydia, he decided to keep moving. He figured that Lydia must've left Hinch already.
Julien kept his laptop on the passenger seat beside him, with the screen showing Lydia's real-time transaction record. After all, other than her general direction, this was the only piece of information that he had on hand. By around 9 p.m., Julien was already about to exit Castelune.
Ping!
A notification sound from his laptop. Julien took a peek. He couldn't see it clearly, so he immediately stopped and parked his car on the side of the road.
Julien smiled. "A purchase at the Castelune Night Market." He let out a big sigh. "Finally. Thank you, Lydia."
He opened a new tab on his browser, spent about three minutes on it, and put it back down.
