Chapter 30 - First in Class Ranking!

Dealing with a student who seemed mentally unstable had pushed Liang Lihua's patience to its absolute limit.

She continued to pull out Ye Wanwan's Chinese exam paper.

However, when she saw Ye Wanwan's Chinese score, she was completely stunned. "Chinese... 142 points..."

The students below the podium exchanged bewildered glances upon hearing Liang Lihua's words.

"What did the class advisor just say? 142 points? What the heck?"

"Must have misread it, right?"

"Uh, mistaking 0 for 142? That's impossible."

Liang Lihua thought she had grabbed the wrong paper and checked the name section again, but it was correct—it was indeed Ye Wanwan's name!

What did scoring 142 in Chinese mean? The full score was 150, and even top students who excelled in Chinese rarely scored above 140.

Suppressing her doubts, Liang Lihua proceeded to open Ye Wanwan's comprehensive liberal arts paper.

The comprehensive liberal arts score was even more outrageous! Full marks were 300, and Ye Wanwan had scored 296!

Finally, only English remained.

When she saw Ye Wanwan's English score, Liang Lihua was utterly frozen in place, completely speechless.

"English: 150 points... How is this possible!"

She taught English herself, and this time she had graded Class A's English papers. In the entire Class A, she hadn't given out a single perfect score—the highest was just 148. Yet Ye Wanwan's report showed a full score in English?

Liang Lihua rummaged through the papers again and pulled out the ranking sheet she had shoved to the bottom. On the first row of the ranking list, Ye Wanwan's name stood out prominently.

Ye Wanwan's class ranking was actually—first!

"Teacher Liang, may I ask, what is my ranking?" From the back row, the girl asked coolly, her gaze clear and cold.

Liang Lihua gripped the thin ranking sheet tightly, her face growing darker by the second. Finally, she exploded in rage. "Hah, Ye Wanwan! You've really outdone yourself! You actually dared to cheat!!"

As if she had anticipated Liang Lihua's reaction, Ye Wanwan asked unhurriedly, "Teacher, on what basis do you think I cheated?"

Liang Lihua's expression twisted to the extreme as she snapped harshly, "Hah, you didn't cheat? If you didn't cheat, how could you score 142 in Chinese! 296 in comprehensive liberal arts! 150 in English! And rank first in the class!?"

Upon hearing Liang Lihua's words, the entire class erupted in chaos.

"Holy crap! What? Scores that high?"

"And first in the class? Ye Wanwan? You're kidding, right! This is impossible!!"

"She must have cheated, no doubt!"

...

"Teacher says I cheated—do you have evidence?" Ye Wanwan asked.

Liang Lihua sneered coldly. "Evidence? Do you think everyone else is an idiot, Ye Wanwan?"

"Then may I ask, besides math, has anyone else scored this high in these subjects? If I'm the only one, how exactly did I cheat?" Ye Wanwan countered.

Just as the classroom buzzed with noisy discussions, the math teacher Zhao Xingzhou happened to pass by.

Zhao Xingzhou, shuffling in his slippers with sleepy eyes, heard the commotion in the classroom and sauntered in lazily. "Teacher Liang, what's going on here? So early in the morning, why the big temper?"

Liang Lihua frowned deeply at his sloppy appearance. "Teacher Zhao, this is a school—pay a little attention to your image!"

Zhao Xingzhou yawned. "I don't have class this morning..."

Though Liang Lihua disapproved of him, she ultimately didn't say more. This Zhao Xingzhou might be unkempt, but Class F's math scores were always the best in the school every time, so even the principal turned a blind eye to him.
