Synopsis
Rana is a gifted young man from the city with a dangerous secret. At only twenty-four, he is the best getaway driver in an underground car-theft syndicate that operates across the city’s highways and bridges. Tired of the violence and constant danger, Rana decides to quit the life for good. But in a world built on speed and silence, walking away is seen as betrayal.
One night, as Rana races through the downtown streets, a lorry deliberately slams into his car. The vehicle crashes through a bridge and plunges into the darkness below. To the criminal group that ordered the hit, Rana is finally dead.
He is not.
An ambulance arrives minutes later, pulling him from the wreckage. Rana survives, but the damage is severe. He remains silent for an entire year—unable to speak, haunted by trauma, and forgotten by the world that tried to erase him.
During this time, he is cared for by Dr. Neli, a young, brilliant surgeon who refuses to give up on him. Having lost her brother years earlier, Neli has dedicated her life to saving others, no matter the cost. Her patience and determination bring Rana back—slowly, painfully—until one day, he speaks again.
When Rana recovers, he has nothing left. No money. No family. Only a driver’s license and the skills that once nearly killed him. Neli pays his hospital bills, asking only one thing in return: that he works as a driver at the hospital until the debt is cleared. Over time, Rana becomes her personal driver, and what begins as gratitude slowly grows into love.
But Neli’s life carries its own shadows.
She comes from a wealthy, powerful family. Her father is a respected businessman who designs and sells luxury vehicles across the region. He is also known for his violent protectiveness over his daughter, having driven away—or beaten—any man who dares get close to her.
What no one knows is the truth.
Neli’s father is Spido—the unseen crime boss who ordered Rana’s death.
Rana does not know Spido’s real identity, only his ruthless reputation. Spido, however, begins to hear unsettling rumors: the driver who was supposed to die may still be alive. When one of his men spots Rana dropping Neli at a cafe one evening, the final order is given.
Rana must die—this time for good.
As danger closes in, love and survival collide. Secrets threaten to surface. Loyalties are tested. And Rana and Neli are forced to face a brutal question:
Is there time for love in a world that refuses to let the past stay buried?
City lights blurred as the tires screamed against the wet asphalt. Headlights followed too closely, too deliberately. Rana had one chance to make it out alive—and he wasn't letting go of the wheel.
Impact. A deafening crash. The world flipped upside down. Rana's last thought before darkness swallowed him: "It's over…"
The car flipped through the air before hitting the ground. Glass shattered, metal crunched, and the vehicle finally gave in to the laws of physics. When the dust and smoke settled, a man from the lorry emerged to inspect his work. Dead. He confirmed it to his boss: Rana was gone.
But somewhere inside the chaos, life lingered.
At Ngoma Hospital, Dr. Neli adjusted her gloves, eyes catching the paramedics rushing in. She didn't know him yet, but the way he was carried toward her made her determined: I won't let him die.
And even before words returned, fate began its dangerous work.
