Chapter 18 - Gabriel: "Big Brother is So Cool"

What good would it do to peek or eavesdrop?

Aside from adding a bunch of pointless troubles, there wasn't a single benefit. He had long passed the age of impulsiveness and knew that letting blood rush to his head would only be a waste of energy.

Kasumigaoka Utaha hugged her own attractive figure and pouted in boredom. "How dull."

She had actually been fantasizing about how she would chase him away if he tried to peek.

Scream? Or call the police directly?

Who knew he wouldn't be tempted in the slightest and would just sit on the balcony playing games by himself?

Utaha returned to the sofa and opened her laptop. "Kawashima, I'm going to start writing my light novel now."

"What do you want for dinner? Should I order delivery?"

"I'll have whatever you're having," Toya said without turning his head, still focused on his game.

He was at a critical moment. The player suspected to be a girl playing a little priest seemed to have been killed by him so many times she had a mental breakdown.

She was frantically sending friend requests, wanting his real-life address, presumably for an offline fight.

Utaha felt a bit annoyed. "You've been playing games all day. Just watch me mess with you."

"You'll have whatever I'm having, right?"

"Fine, I'll satisfy you."

As she spoke, she turned her gaze to the various raw foods on her phone.

Sashimi, raw beef...

All kinds of raw dishes appeared one after another. Utaha had made a fortune from her light novels recently and didn't care about the cost, so she ordered everything in one go.

After placing the order, Utaha revealed a devious smile. "Letting you play games all the time without even inviting me..."

"I'll treat you to a raw feast..."

During her classes this morning, she had specifically looked up the dietary habits of people from other country.

Foreigner generally weren't accustomed to eating raw food, though there were some exceptions.

Toya, at a glance, definitely didn't seem like someone used to eating raw food.

A few minutes later.

Toya put down his phone and sat back on the sofa with a look of satisfaction.

Seeing Toya so happy, Utaha, who was writing her novel, asked curiously, "Did something happen?"

"I just slaughtered a newbie in the game. In the end, she said, 'Big Brother is so cool,' and wanted to meet me offline," Toya said, half-lying on the sofa with a comfortable expression. "So I gave her my address."

"Offline PK?"

"Kawashima, have you been single for so long that your judgment is impaired?"

Utaha looked stunned. She reached out her slender hand and touched Toya's forehead. "It doesn't seem broken..."

"Why would you do that?"

"That person obviously wants to fight you in real life. Did you really give it to them?"

Toya scoffed. "Do you think I couldn't tell?"

"So I just sent her a random address."

"It seems to be in the North Pole."

"..." Utaha didn't know whether to laugh or cry. "That's a bit mean of you."

"How could that person fall for it..."

"Who plays games in the North Pole?"

Toya smiled. "Exactly. That's why I was just fooling around."

The two chatted leisurely, unaware that in the apartment next door, Gabriel had already spread her pristine, holy angel wings.

Her face was filled with compassion, but a closer look revealed a towering rage hidden beneath that compassion.

Gabriel clasped her hands in a prayer pose and murmured, "How can there be such a malicious person named 'Trash Fox' in the human world?"

"As a kind and benevolent angel, I should reform him and make him understand the beauty of the world."

"Lord, you will definitely understand me."

With that, Gabriel's angelic wings flapped instantly.

Her figure streaked across the twilight sky like a brilliant meteor, heading straight for the North Pole.

Her speed revealed a hint of impatience.

It was as if she were saying, "Trash Fox, I'm coming to beat you up."

Nighttime.

Toya stared at the smiling Utaha beside him with a grim expression. "You did this on purpose, didn't you?"

In front of him lay a huge pile of sashimi, raw beef, and other raw ingredients.

They were all edible raw, but how could he stomach all of this?

"Hmph." Utaha let out a light snort, directly admitting that she had done it on purpose.

What was there to be afraid of admitting? Toya wouldn't do anything to her anyway.

"Forget it. I'll make dinner," Toya sighed. "I didn't expect a day would come when I'd have to cook for myself."

A dignified transmigrator having to cook for himself—it was simply too shameful.

Even setting aside dignity, he didn't want to eat this pile of raw food at all.

Fortunately, Utaha had ordered plenty of raw ingredients, enough for him to cook a proper dinner.

"Heh heh, if you do this next time, I'll order another pile of raw food," Utaha said proudly, like a victorious rooster.

As for Toya taking the ingredients to cook, she was actually happy to see it.

For reasons of her own, eating raw food wasn't suitable for her recently.

Ten minutes later, Toya walked out of the kitchen carrying a large plate of mixed cuisine and placed it on the table.

Smelling the rich aroma of the food, Utaha's eyes flashed with amazement. "Kawashima, your cooking skills are this good?"

"Eat up," Toya said calmly.
