"Huh? Why isn't it Kawashima?" Jashin-chan realized that the person opening the trash can wasn't Toya, but Hanazono Yurine.
Toya, whom she had been obsessing over killing, was standing not far away, watching the show with an amused look on his face.
His expression seemed to say, So the trash snake actually came out.
"Whatever! I can't miss this chance. I'll just kill both of them!"
"Once I kill Yurine, I can return to the Demon Realm. And before I go, I'll kill Kawashima to pay him back for that crowbar hit!"
Jashin-chan didn't care about priorities anymore; both Toya and Yurine were on her hit list.
Killing Yurine first, then Toya... the order didn't matter.
"Yurine, die!"
Jashin-chan's snake tail curved sharply. "Jashin-chan Dropkick!"
Seeing Jashin-chan's move, Toya shook his head with a laugh. "Still the same old trick. How could that possibly work?"
Jashin-chan wasn't a Kamen Rider; the accuracy of her dropkick was notoriously pathetic.
Just as Toya predicted, Yurine's expression remained cold. She simply shifted slightly to the side, easily dodging Jashin-chan's attack range.
Yurine clenched her right fist and punched the descending Jashin-chan hard in the stomach.
Bang!
A dull thud resonated.
Jashin-chan's beautiful eyes bulged as if they were about to pop out. Intense pain surged from her abdomen; it felt like her insides had been scrambled by that single blow.
Instantly, Jashin-chan lost her earlier arrogance, rolling on the ground clutching her stomach like a worm in pain.
"Expected outcome." Toya nodded in satisfaction.
Yurine had held back. If she had gone all out, she could have definitely annihilated Jashin-chan in one hit.
"So strong!" Kasumigaoka Utaha was amazed by Yurine's terrifying strength; a single punch caused such a commotion.
She tried to imagine it and realized that if Yurine punched an ordinary person, they would probably drop dead on the spot.
Kasugano Sora felt a bit sorry for her; after all, Jashin-chan hadn't actually done anything yet.
How could a thirteen-year-old middle schooler understand the full picture?
"Kawashima, don't worry." Yurine's face was serious. "I will keep a close eye on Jashin-chan!"
Toya smiled. "No need to be so serious. As long as she doesn't cause trouble, it's fine."
Saying this, he turned and walked into the Trash Fox Detective Agency. "Follow me. Let's see your room first, Yurine."
Since Yurine had helped so much, how could he let her go back just like that?
He definitely had to play the good host and thank Yurine for her help.
While Yurine was hesitating, she saw Jashin-chan quietly inching away, trying to escape.
"Then I'll stay for a night. I can't let Kawashima be troubled during the Evil God's Banquet!"
Thinking this, she grabbed Jashin-chan's tail and, ignoring the devil's struggles, dragged her toward the agency.
Jashin-chan screamed in pain as she was dragged across the ground.
Yurine remained unmoved, hauling her straight inside.
"As expected of Yurine." Toya marveled.
Yurine was usually easy to get along with, but when it came to Jashin-chan, she showed no mercy.
Although Jashin-chan was pitiful, Toya felt inexplicably happy watching this.
After some tossing about, Jashin-chan slumped against the wall in a corner of the agency, looking down at her injuries, sulking pitifully.
A thick aura of self-pity surrounded her.
Toya observed quietly from the side, having no intention of comforting her.
Jashin-chan was a true "scum snake." She might look pitiful on the surface, but she was probably plotting something nasty right now.
Just then, Toya saw Sora walking toward Jashin-chan holding a pile of first-aid supplies.
"Will Jashin-chan appreciate it?"
He wondered with interest.
"Here, Big Sister, bandages for you!" The silver-haired little girl, Sora, appeared like a guardian angel, holding jars and bottles of medicine.
Jashin-chan stared blankly at Sora, unable to believe this little girl wasn't afraid of her and was even offering help.
Even with her terrible personality, she felt her heart touched.
Jashin-chan asked tentatively, "For me?"
"Yes. It hurts, right?" Sora smiled sweetly. "These medicines can heal you."
Beside them, Toya looked away, losing interest in Jashin-chan.
Since he had confirmed Jashin-chan wouldn't hurt Sora, there was no need to watch her anymore.
Not far from Toya, Yurine also breathed a sigh of relief.
She was genuinely worried Jashin-chan had lost all humanity and would hurt a child.
Fortunately, Jashin-chan seemed to get along surprisingly well with Sora.
----
Soon, night fell.
Toya brought a large, overflowing pot of Sukiyaki from the kitchen. "The food is served!"
"Sukiyaki?!" Beside them, Jashin-chan, who had been starving all day, lit up. She looked ready to pounce on the food immediately.
But remembering that her two enemies, Toya and Yurine, were there...
Her pride wouldn't allow her to eat with her enemies.
Toya placed the Sukiyaki pot on the table. The remaining space was packed with various hotpot ingredients.
The quantity of ingredients was massive, and the portions were enormous.
Even if everyone ate their fill, there would definitely be leftovers.
Seeing the lavish spread, Yurine couldn't help but swallow.
She hadn't eaten such a rich meal in a long time, let alone such a huge portion.
Toya sat down early and whispered to Sora, "Sora, go call Jashin-chan over."
Although things were unpleasant with Jashin-chan, they couldn't just leave her out on such an occasion.
The scum snake was bad, but she could be disciplined slowly later.
"Got it!" Sora's big eyes lit up, and she ran over excitedly.
She had been hesitating about how to ask Big Brother Kawashima to let Jashin-chan eat with them, but now it was fine.
Jashin-chan looked at her two enemies, Toya and Yurine, then at the expectant Sora.
"How can I go..."
Growl—
Her stomach betrayed her.
Jashin-chan pouted haughtily, "I'm only agreeing for Sora's sake, okay?"
Yurine watched Jashin-chan and Sora walking over hand in hand and whispered to Toya, "Thank you."
"I should be the one thanking you." Toya said gently, "If you hadn't restrained Jashin-chan, there would definitely be trouble."
"Besides, there was always a place for Jashin-chan at this dinner."
The dazzling feast overwhelmed Jashin-chan and Yurine.
When everyone was seated and Toya told them to eat...
Jashin-chan stuffed her face, disregarding her image entirely.
What surprised Toya the most was that Jashin-chan actually took the initiative to share her favorite food with Sora.
