The following days in Konoha passed peacefully. After Ling Yu revealed his true strength, Tsunade gradually became much more diligent.
She largely abandoned gambling. Every day, she either trained on her own or accompanied Ling Yu in his training.
The most obvious motivation came when Ling Yu gave her the Yin Seal scroll and casually mentioned that mastering it could preserve eternal youth. From then on, Tsunade trained with even greater enthusiasm.
When Ling Yu once asked why she was suddenly working so hard, she always answered:

Even with the Sage Body, it still needed time to grow. Besides, at only six years old, he hadn't fully developed his Sage Body yet. Chakra training remained essential.
Finishing his morning session, Ling Yu suppressed his excitement, left his room, and headed to the kitchen.
He had started training so early he hadn't even prepared breakfast yet. If Tsunade woke up and found no food, he'd feel bad.

Tsunade stood there, still half-asleep, yawning lazily. Her eyes sparkled with mischief.
Compared to half a month ago, Tsunade had changed dramatically. Her skin glowed fair and flawless, her features refined, and her figure—especially her chest—had developed even further.
At only sixteen, her body already rivaled women in their late teens. If she grew any more, she'd outclass almost everyone.
The diamond-shaped mark between her brows—the sign of a completed Yin Seal—had appeared a full week before Ling Yu's. Thanks to the seal, her skin had become increasingly smooth and youthful, as if she'd undergone a second bloom.

"Oh, right—Kushina and the other girl are transferring to your class today. Remember to look after them."
Tsunade swallowed a mouthful of food with some milk, then turned to Ling Yu with the reminder.
"Kushina?"
Ling Yu looked up at her, puzzled.
Tsunade's words reminded him—he'd almost forgotten Kushina was still living with Granny Mito.
"Yeah. They've mostly recovered from what happened. Granny Mito said they need to integrate into Konoha life properly, so she's having them enroll in the ninja academy."
"Oh."
Ling Yu responded casually.
He hadn't seen Kushina in a while. The last time was a week ago when he and Tsunade visited Mito.
Back then, Kushina had seemed to be getting along well with Junko, the Senju caretaker at Mito's house. The dark shadow on her face from their first meeting had already faded.
"Never mind. You're still a boy, so you might not be good at taking care of girls. Better tell Mikoto—she can look after Kushina. Girls communicate better anyway."
Tsunade thought for a moment and gave up on the idea of Ling Yu handling it. Compared to gentle, caring Mikoto, he was hopeless.
"Weren't you just talking about it earlier?"
Ling Yu gave her a sideways glance, slightly annoyed.
"Tch, little brat. I'm creating an opportunity for you, understand? Kushina's pretty cute too. If you win her over, you'll have two girlfriends in the future."
