Chapter 67: Confrontation – Uchiha Tomiyama
"Think you can resist? You, a Senju, surely know what my Mangekyō Sharingan is capable of, right?"
Uchiha Tomiyama sneered viciously, pointing at the Mangekyō Sharingan in his eyes as he shouted arrogantly at Ling Yu:
"Even if you have jōnin-level strength, without Wood Release—what can you possibly do to fight me?"
With eyes now matching those of the legendary Uchiha Madara, feeling the torrential pupil power surging within them, Tomiyama felt stronger than ever before.
"I'll handle this. Mikoto, go back and take care of your grandmother first."
Ling Yu nodded to Mikoto, motioning for her to return home.
"Mm. Be careful."
Mikoto whispered a reminder, then opened the door. With two swift strikes, she knocked out the ninja still waiting inside before rushing toward where her grandmother lay unconscious.
Once Mikoto disappeared from sight, Ling Yu could finally fight without holding back. He rolled his shoulders, loosening up his body that hadn't truly battled in a while.
Eyes gleaming with anticipation, he walked alone toward the dozen or so charging Uchiha ninja.
"Then let me test it out. Show me what that Mangekyō Sharingan of yours can do!"
"Shinra Tensei!"
Raising both hands, Ling Yu revealed his Rinnegan. With a forward push of his palms, the repulsive force erupted—an invisible shockwave swept across the entire battlefield.
"Ahhh—!"
In the next instant, every Uchiha ninja charging toward him—except for Tomiyama, who stood farther back—was blasted away, crashing to the ground with pained groans.
This was Ling Yu deliberately holding back his power. Otherwise, the internal organs of those hit would have ruptured instantly, killing them on the spot.
"What… what kind of power is this?!"
The smug grin on Tomiyama's face froze. His mouth fell open in disbelief.
In a single moment, his subordinates had been completely powerless—blown away without any chance to resist.

The next instant, Ling Yu appeared behind Tomiyama, grabbed the back of his clothes, and activated Space Power. In a flash, both of them vanished from the spot.
Several kilometers outside Konoha – A barren mountain peak
This was the same mountain stronghold where Ling Yu had once taken Kushina and the others on their first mission.
To avoid drawing attention from others in Konoha, Ling Yu had spent a bit of chakra to teleport Tomiyama here.
"Get down there!"
Hovering in mid-air with Tomiyama in tow, Ling Yu delivered a powerful kick to his back.
Tumbling through the air, Tomiyama quickly stabilized himself.
Though he had no idea how he'd been brought here, survival came first. Falling from seventy or eighty meters would leave him gravely injured even if he survived.
To reduce the impact, Tomiyama spotted a large crater below and rapidly formed hand seals.
"Water Style: Great Waterfall Technique!"
A roaring torrent of water poured down from above, quickly flooding the crater and forming a small pond.

Using the Rinnegan's repulsive force, Ling Yu slowly descended from the sky and landed lightly on the water's surface—his feet coated in chakra.

Standing calmly on the water, Ling Yu spoke to Tomiyama, who had just surfaced.

Spitting out the water he had swallowed, Tomiyama also rose to stand on the surface.
He quickly scanned the unfamiliar surroundings before turning back to glare warily at Ling Yu.
In an instant, he had been transported from the Uchiha compound to this strange place—with no other ninja in sight. He had no choice but to raise his guard to the maximum.
Judging from the techniques Ling Yu had used, this resembled the Second Hokage's S-rank space-time ninjutsu—Flying Thunder God.
Moreover, the strange repulsive force that had instantly blown away his subordinates, and the ability to fly through the air—none of these were techniques he had ever heard of.

Ling Yu sneered, no longer interested in verbal sparring. He formed hand seals and launched his attack.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Bullet Technique!"
The water beneath his feet surged violently, instantly forming a massive blue water dragon. With its jaws wide open, it roared toward Tomiyama.
Tomiyama didn't dare relax. The moment Ling Yu formed seals, he also began forming his own.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Technique!"
Taking a deep breath, Tomiyama exhaled a gigantic red fireball. The two techniques collided and canceled each other out.
In an instant, thick steam from the clash enveloped the entire battlefield, completely obscuring both fighters' vision.
"Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!"
Tomiyama immediately used Wind Release, blowing away the mist and revealing Ling Yu—who had just finished forming seals.
"Water Style: Hard Vortex Water Blade!"
A blue water spear formed in Ling Yu's hand. With a powerful throw, he launched it toward Tomiyama.
This was an extremely powerful technique—creating a concentrated water vortex in the shape of a spear. Upon contact with the target, it would erupt into a massive waterspout.

Activating his Mangekyō Sharingan's ability, Tomiyama reflected the incoming attack back at double speed and power.
The returning Hard Vortex Water Blade flew back even faster and stronger than before.

Raising his right hand, Ling Yu casually unleashed a massive chakra fist. The reflected technique was instantly shattered, and the remaining force continued straight toward Tomiyama.
"Damn it! Susanoo!"
Realizing the terrifying power contained in Ling Yu's attack, Tomiyama knew reflecting it would cost too much chakra.
He didn't dare take the risk. Instead, he immediately unleashed his strongest power—Susanoo.
In the next moment, a seventeen- to eighteen-meter-tall purple-red skeletal giant appeared on the battlefield. Though only the upper body had formed, it was more than enough to completely shield Tomiyama.
The Susanoo held a massive sword in its right hand and a giant shield in its left. Just as Ling Yu's attack was about to connect, the giant raised the shield—its immense defensive power effortlessly nullifying the strike.
"If you're so eager to die, then I'll grant your wish!"
Standing inside Susanoo, Tomiyama felt an unprecedented surge of power. He crossed his arms arrogantly and looked down at Ling Yu.
