Chapter 68: Beatdown – Ability Copy
"Whoosh!"
Uchiha Tomiyama held nothing back. His Susanoo swung its massive sword toward Ling Yu at blinding speed, like a streak of light.
Ling Yu's eyes narrowed. Activating Space Power, he instantly vanished from the attack's range.
BOOM!
The Susanoo's strike missed, slashing into the water surface and carving out an enormous chasm.
In the next instant, water surged madly toward the gap. Within seconds, the entire pond was drained, revealing the muddy ground beneath.
"Senju Ling Yu! Are you only good at running away? Do you dare fight me with everything you've got?!"
Spinning around, Tomiyama glared at Ling Yu with disdain in his eyes.
Ling Yu possessed spatial abilities that let him appear anywhere instantly—making it nearly impossible for Tomiyama's attacks to land. Now that Susanoo was active, hitting him was even harder.
If this continued, Tomiyama's chakra would be steadily drained, putting him at a severe disadvantage. So he resorted to provocation—hoping to force Ling Yu to stop using space techniques.
"Fine. Since you insist… I won't use space abilities anymore."
Seeing through Tomiyama's ploy, Ling Yu shrugged helplessly and spoke with extreme arrogance:
"But you'd better be careful. I'm about to get serious—don't get accidentally killed."
"Hmph. Still so arrogant even on the verge of death."
Seeing his plan succeed, Tomiyama sneered. His Mangekyō Sharingan flared to life once more.
"Amaterasu!"
In the next second, endless black flames erupted across the entire battlefield, completely enveloping the mountain peak—even the sky was swallowed by the inextinguishable black fire.
"So you're trying to turn this into an arena?"
Ling Yu curled his lip. It seemed Tomiyama still didn't fully believe in his strength.
Fine then—let's have a proper fight.
Closing his eyes for a moment, Ling Yu opened them again. A six-pointed radiant star pattern appeared within them—an Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan far superior to Tomiyama's.
Under Tomiyama's stunned gaze, the corner of Ling Yu's mouth lifted in a mocking smile.
As if to prove his point, Ling Yu deliberately shouted:
"Susanoo!"
The next instant, a golden Susanoo identical in skeletal form to Tomiyama's—but far more majestic—manifested around Ling Yu.
In its hands, it wielded a long katana and a sake gourd—none other than the Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror that Ling Yu had drawn earlier.
For a moment, beneath the dome of black flames, two differently colored Susanoo stood facing each other.
"You bastard! I never expected you to be so ruthless—daring to steal our Uchiha clan's Mangekyō Sharingan! Today, I will kill you!"
Seeing the Mangekyō Sharingan appear in Ling Yu's eyes, Tomiyama roared in fury.
He had no idea where Ling Yu had obtained the Mangekyō, but as the Uchiha clan head, he would never tolerate seeing those sacred eyes in the hands of an outsider.
Especially since Ling Yu belonged to the Senju—the Uchiha's eternal enemies. This only strengthened his murderous intent.
"Hmph. My Sharingan wasn't stolen—it's mine."
Ling Yu snorted disdainfully.
With his Copy ability, why would he need to steal someone else's eyes and implant them?
He wasn't that disgusting old dog Danzo, cramming a bunch of eyes into his arm for extra lives.

Tomiyama roared in anger.
He had no knowledge of Ling Yu's Copy ability. In his mind, only Uchiha could awaken the Sharingan. If it appeared in anyone else's eyes, it must have been stolen.
"Hmph. Believe what you want."
Ling Yu couldn't be bothered to explain. Drawing the Totsuka Blade, he swung the katana with a whistling wind and slashed toward Tomiyama.
Raising his shield, Tomiyama tried to block the incoming strike with Susanoo.
But Ling Yu's Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan was simply too powerful. Tomiyama—and his entire Susanoo—was sent flying, crashing more than ten meters away.
"Damn it! How is this possible?!"
Struggling back to his feet, Tomiyama's eyes were filled with shock.
He couldn't understand why—despite both using Susanoo—the gap in power was so vast. Ling Yu's attack had clearly been several times stronger.
"If that's how it is… then I have no choice!"
Unable to win even with Susanoo active, Tomiyama decided to go all out. If he didn't risk everything now, he might die here.
Pouring every last drop of his remaining chakra into his eyes, Tomiyama's Mangekyō Sharingan flared wildly.
Under his desperate infusion, Susanoo continued to evolve. The skeletal form was soon covered in muscle fibers and flesh.
"Not enough… still not enough! I need more power!"
Tomiyama roared desperately.
With another surge of pupil power, Susanoo was clad in full tengu armor—its strength increasing once again.

Since Tomiyama had gone all-in, Ling Yu would no longer hold back. He would let him witness the true might of the Uchiha clan's strongest technique—before he died.
The next moment, Ling Yu's Susanoo began to grow. It shattered through Tomiyama's Amaterasu dome, legs gradually manifesting, followed by muscle and flesh, and finally a complete tengu armor.
In an instant, a two-hundred-meter-tall golden giant stood upon the earth—crushing nearby mountain peaks and becoming the most dazzling presence on the battlefield.
The golden giant was clad in brilliant golden armor, wielding the Totsuka Blade in one hand and the Yata Mirror in the other, with a pair of golden wings unfurling from its back. It looked utterly majestic and domineering.
In comparison, Tomiyama's Susanoo looked like a dwarf—barely half its height. The difference between them was like heaven and earth.
"This… this is impossible! Impossible! Why is your Susanoo so much stronger than mine?!"
Staring in shock at Ling Yu's towering Susanoo, Tomiyama was so furious he spat out a mouthful of blood.
He hadn't even fully developed the strongest form of his own Susanoo—yet an outsider had surpassed him.
Who was truly the Uchiha here?!
This was nothing short of a disgrace to the entire Uchiha clan!
"There's nothing impossible about it. I'm simply stronger than you—and you're nothing but a frog at the bottom of a well."
Standing atop the crystalline hexagonal space on his Susanoo's forehead, Ling Yu looked down with cold, disdainful eyes.
"Now you're useless, Uchiha Tomiyama."
In the next moment, Susanoo raised the Totsuka Blade and brought it down in a devastating slash. The hundreds-of-meters-long blade fell like a meteor, crashing into Tomiyama's Susanoo.
BOOM!
The ground shook violently like an earthquake. Even Konoha—dozens of kilometers away—felt faint tremors.
When the dust finally settled, Tomiyama's Susanoo had completely vanished.
In its place, a massive canyon over five hundred meters long and seventy to eighty meters deep had been carved into the earth.
"Hmph. You can serve as my puppet now. Even in death, make yourself useful."
Deactivating Susanoo, Ling Yu used Space Power to descend into the canyon. He looked down at Tomiyama—already lifeless in the pit—and murmured.
Then he lifted the corpse and copied Tomiyama's Amaterasu and Rebound abilities.
Next, Ling Yu activated the Rinnegan's corpse control technique, turning Tomiyama into his puppet.
He also purchased a concealment technique from the system to hide the Rinnegan's signature and applied it to Tomiyama.
Finally, he brought the puppet back to the Uchiha compound.
