"Izanagi is an Uchiha technique. How could I have no countermeasures?"
Uchiha Jin's expression was calm.
The crimson hexagram of six points spun in his eyes, enhancing his dynamic vision exponentially. To him, Danzo's movements were still far too slow.
Then, once again,
Danzo revived and fell, over and over.
It wasn't until the Sharingan on Jin's arm was nearly drained that he finally blinked away and took cover behind Hiruzen Sarutobi.
"Sarutobi, help me!"
By this point, Hiruzen and the other two members of the F4 were already stupefied.
Especially Danzo.
This man dying and reviving repeatedly was more than terrifying it was uncanny.
Still, facing Danzo's plea, Hiruzen let out a sigh and shielded him behind his back.
"Uchiha Jin, enough!"
Hiruzen barked, his voice firm. "I can withdraw the ANBU and Root forces from outside the Uchiha territory. Will that satisfy you?"
"Sarutobi, how can you agree to this?" Danzo protested, dumbfounded.
He had orchestrated countless schemes and manipulated the Nine-Tails incident just to corner the Uchiha. Now, Hiruzen's single statement threatened to undo years of planning.
But Hiruzen didn't bother explaining further. "Quiet. I am the Hokage!"
"You'll regret this, Sarutobi!" Danzo ground his teeth in fury.
Jin's eyes narrowed, his aura brimming with lethality.
He truly wanted to take Danzo out on the spot. After all, Danzo had struck first, and Jin did not believe Hiruzen would risk openly clashing with him over a dead man.
The Hidden Leaf was far too weak to endure such upheaval.
Yet, unexpectedly,
Danzo immediately dodged, showing no shred of pride in his strength.
Hiruzen's proposal, however, was workable. The Leaf Village wasn't fully prepared, and neither was he. Now was not the moment to escalate into all-out conflict.
"All right, fine,"
Jin nodded lightly.
Without another word, he ignored the F4 completely and turned to leave the Hokage's office.
Hiruzen's face darkened.
His gaze followed Jin, dense with barely restrained murderous intent. Yet he picked up his pipe, exhaled smoke, and silently contemplated a way to regain the advantage.
Danzo spoke coldly. "Sarutobi, you are far too weak!"
Even Koharu Utatane, usually a minor presence, scolded angrily, "Uchiha Jin is too brazen! We should eliminate him by all means. How can you consider withdrawing the ANBU and Root from surrounding the Uchiha?"
"I disagree as well!" Homura Mitokado added.
Hiruzen's headache deepened.
Idiots!
When facing Jin moments ago, Danzo could only cower behind him, and Koharu and Homura were invisible in the fight. Now, with Jin gone, these fools had grown bold.
Hiruzen wanted to punch them all, but considering that the Sarutobi clan alone couldn't control the entire Leaf Village, he needed their support.
Taking a deep breath, he explained.
"Have you three not realized?"
"Uchiha Jin is unlike any other Uchiha. He truly dares to fight to the death!"
"Moreover, he commands the Uchiha radical faction. Even if I could rally the entire Leaf to fight them, eliminating this faction would still leave Konoha severely weakened."
"Do you know how Konoha would face the other four great nations in that state?"
"And don't forget!"
"The radicals are stationed just outside the Sarutobi territory. Do you want the Sarutobi clan wiped out as collateral?"
Hiruzen's tone turned ice-cold.
He could see that Jin was serious. The Uchiha was prepared to die and drag the Sarutobi down with him.
Eliminating Jin? That was absurd. Was Danzo joking?
Danzo, Koharu, and Homura fell silent, unsure what to do.
Jin was too extreme!
Ordinary radicals only dared to boast, but this man was willing to kill with a resolve bordering on suicidal.
Seeing the three paralyzed, Hiruzen exhaled. "Danzo, explain."
"That arm of yours, your Sharingan what was that? And the dying and reviving, what exactly happened?"
"And your observations of Uchiha Jin's Mangekyo Sharingan, what did you learn in the fight?"
Danzo, begrudgingly, couldn't hide the truth.
He explained that the arm was a product of Orochimaru, but its effects were still unstable.
The Sharingan?
A secret tool for capturing the Uchiha, extracted from within their own ranks.
The death-and-revival effect? That came from Izanagi.
Finally, speaking of Jin's ocular powers, his expression became one of sheer terror.
"Uchiha Jin's Mangekyo is terrifying truly unstoppable!"
"Any jutsu coming into contact with it is completely dissolved. Once he locks his gaze on you, no defense or barrier has the slightest effect."
"When he fought me, he barely used his Mangekyo it consumes immense chakra."
"Future battles against him should involve overwhelming numbers. Once his ocular power is depleted, he becomes vulnerable."
Danzo spoke carefully, while Hiruzen frowned.
He had hoped the Wood Release experiment might provide an advantage, but it was merely experimental. He felt disappointed.
As for Izanagi, Hiruzen had no interest. Not everyone could twist their body into such a state as Danzo had.
"Wait, that doesn't make sense!"
"Koharu, Danzo, why didn't Jin question or demand anything after seeing your Sharingan? How could he ignore it?"
Koharu suddenly spoke.
Hiruzen inhaled deeply, then replied, "That only demonstrates Jin's cunning. A man who can disregard having his clan's kekkei genkai taken can be unimaginably patient and ambitious."
"Wait, Sarutobi." Danzo interjected suddenly. "I may have a solution!"
"There's one thing I haven't told you. Jin's awakening of the Mangekyo might have something to do with me."
"Jin's parents are in Root's custody."
"The very next day, the news spread that Jin awakened the Mangekyo and ultimately joined the radical faction!"
