Akari stretched his arms overhead, muscles rolling beneath his uniform. "Yami! We should learn each other's cursed techniques before the mission; we need to know what the other is working with."
"I- uh, that makes sense. I suppose we should learn each other's techniques..." Yami said as he took off his shirt, revealing some muscle that was previously hidden.
"Looks like you do have some muscle after all! I propose we have a clean spar to learn each other's techniques. How about it?" He rips off his school uniform top, leaving just the tank top from underneath.
Yami prepares himself for a fight, steadying his breathing. "Alright, let's go when—"
Before Yami could finish speaking, Akari dashed at full speed, already mid-swing towards Yami's face. Barely being able to perceive Akari's actions, Yami swung outward towards his opponent's throat.
"Mad Man's Intent: Intent Declared!" Akari enters the first phase of his cursed technique, Mad Man's Intent, which is a self-amplifying cursed technique that converts Akari's battle drive into raw physical ability. Each phase shows his mental commitment to the fight, forcibly unlocking greater cursed energy output at the cost of self-control and bodily strain.
Akari disappears out of Yami's sight before he knows what's happening, appearing behind Yami and delivering a blow to Yami's abdomen.

Yami throws up a puddle of blood out of his mouth; despite the blood he just lost, Yami Shotaro grins.
Yami aims his hand towards the repositioning Akari Yamamoto.
"Heavenly Beam!"
A blinding light covers Akari as a beam of pure cursed energy hits him, sending him flying across the training grounds. Instinctively, as the beam overtook him, Akari covered his body with his cursed energy, reducing the damage heavily.
Yami Shotaro's cursed technique, Temple, is a cursed technique that solely relies on cursed energy, creating attacks of pure cursed energy.
"Haha! You're way stronger than a grade 3, huh?" He stood back up, spitting out blood from his mouth. "I think we'll do just fine on this mission." Akari grins wildly.
