Chapter 35 - Chapter 35: NorthSouth's Grind

"System, bring up the game time for me to see."

Blake, having nothing to do, suddenly wanted to see who had the longest playtime today.

Generally speaking, games would release an anniversary recap or something similar during their anniversary, though Delta was still a long way from its anniversary.

After all, the game hadn't even officially launched yet.

[Data retrieved]

[Playtime Leaderboard]

[Today's Longest Playtime: PhonkNorthSouth, 6.7 hours]

[Today's Second Longest Playtime: SnakeYearLucky, 6.3 hours]

[Today's Third Longest Playtime: NightBlue99, 6.1 hours]

"Oh my god, what a no-lifer..." Blake looked at the data panel with some admiration. "The game has been open for a total of 6.7 hours, and this guy has been playing since it opened."

The System's playtime calculation didn't count AFK time — there had to be an operation within a certain period — so the times on this list were 100% accurate.

"But..." He suddenly remembered something. "Speaking of Phonk, can't those Phonk tracks from my previous life also be brought over here?"

"We already have 'See You Again.' When the time comes, I'll upload 'Memory Reboot' and other Phonk tracks to various platforms. That way, Delta's music for video content will be pretty much complete."

This kind of thing definitely couldn't be done by his current main account, but Blake had many alt accounts, and registering another one wasn't a problem.

[Multi-platform registration complete]

[Account Nickname: Horizon Interactive Music Group]

Blake looked at the computer screen with satisfaction and said, "System, transfer the Phonk tracks to my computer."

[Upload complete]

For now, the music group account would only release Phonk tracks. The music for Delta Force would have to wait until the official launch.

As for Delta's official account... in Blake's vision, the Delta official account's music-related videos would only feature the background music for Wall Breaker Operation and D-Wolf's Red Skin · Corrosive Gold Rose later on.

The reason was simple: these two had special significance for Delta.

Wall Breaker Operation was the first truly high-value limited map mission, and Corrosive Gold Rose was the first red skin.

"Ding!"

The notification sound for video upload completion appeared.

Blake switched the account to the Delta Force official account and then posted a pinned update introducing the Horizon Interactive Music Group account.

Free traffic generation, that is.

Within seconds of the update being posted, it received hundreds of comments.

"So it's a new account. I thought there was new news."

"The person above is thinking too much. The second test for Delta Force just started less than a day ago. Even if there's new news, we'll have to wait until the second test ends in a couple of days."

"Hey, how do you know I'm a Delta second test player?"

"Hey, how does the person above know I'm a first test player?"

"Hey, how do the person above and the person above him know I was the first player to arrive at the offline test site?"

"666, starting a matryoshka game, are we?"

"You guys should listen to those... uh... Phonk tracks?"

"What Phonk tracks?"

"It's the songs from that music account. Besides 'See You Again' and the other music from Desert Bus, there's also a whole Phonk album."

"How should I put it — the style difference is a bit too big. It's hard to imagine that the person who made a song like 'See You Again' would also create bass-boosted Phonk remixes."

Blake watched these comments with a smile in his eyes. The destructive power of Phonk was still too great for the people of this world.

He glanced at the System store — there were still many abstract games that could be redeemed there.

When those abstract games were released, if a few songs that even his previous life found abstract were released at the same time... this world's worldview would probably be severely impacted.

The topic had strayed a bit. Back to the main point.

Although most Phonk tracks initially seemed abstract, after listening to them a few times, one would find them quite catchy — such as the classic bass drops and cowbell rhythms that made you want to headbob.

After roughly scrolling through the replies under the Phonk-related videos, Blake closed YouTube.

Delta Force, restarting!

The next few hours were pretty much the same as the morning. Blake and Ivy still maintained their unchanging combination of D-Wolf plus Vyron — mainly because Stinger was too weak.

If it were Ivy playing Stinger during the first test, it would have been acceptable — at least with higher fault tolerance — but now there was no need for Ivy to do so.

After all, her skills weren't as bad as before. She had now reached a level where she could help Blake share some of the pressure.

Although not as good as top-tier players like Jake, Marcus, and Vinny, she could still be considered a first-tier player.

Time flew by, and in a blink of an eye, it was the end of the second test.

Blake had once again become addicted to Delta these past two days, and Ivy had also been successfully led astray by him, spending most of her day in Delta.

As for PhonkNorthSouth... according to the data provided by the System, he played for a total of 63 hours over these few days, which meant he only slept two or three hours a day.

One could only say that young people had good bodies.

As for red items... Ivy was lucky and got a Military Shell. She also got quite a few small reds.

But Blake's luck wasn't so good — the most expensive item he got was a Drone, and he had fewer other reds than Ivy.

The choice of items to keep was basically a no-brainer. He could take four in total, so he just chose the most expensive ones.

Blake chose the Drone + Gold Bar + Saeed's Pocket Watch + Caviar.

Ivy chose the Military Shell + Military Radio + Golden Gazelle + Fossil.

Although she had red items more expensive than the Fossil, according to her, it was her first red item and held sentimental value.

The red items obtained by other players also varied, with the upper limit being a Tank worth over three million, and the lower limit being a few small reds.

No one got the Heart of Africa or the Resuscitation Ventilator in this test. Blake was sure he hadn't adjusted the probability, so it could only be said that Delta's original drop rate for the Heart and Ventilator was too low.

"Dear player, happy times are always short. Delta Force · Second Test will close in 5 minutes. Please choose the items you wish to keep as soon as possible."
