Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The Daily Life Between Ide and Ur!

After Ide cultivated outside for an hour, Ur finished cooking.

Although Ide couldn't compliment the taste, fortunately, he was never a picky eater, so it counted as a good meal.

After Ide finished dinner in a short ten minutes, he went outside the house again and began his cultivation.

Current Total Mana: 10

Yes, after enjoying a delicious meal, Ide cultivated for another four hours, bringing his total mana up to the level of 10.

After doing all this, Ide looked at the high moon in the sky, then consciously returned to Ur's small wooden hut. He looked at Ur eagerly, remaining silent.

"What do you mean?!"

Ur looked at Ide's innocent eyes, the corner of her eye twitching slightly as she asked.

"Where do I sleep tonight?"

Ide asked Ur truthfully.

"The floor."

As Ur spoke, she immediately extended a finger as white as scallion jade, pointing at the cold green brick floor inside the house, and said in a deep voice.

"No."

"I am still a patient; I cannot sleep in a place that is too cold and hard."

Ide glanced at the floor of Ur's house and immediately shook his head.

"How can I not tell that you are a patient?"

Ur raised an eyebrow and looked at Ide suspiciously, her gaze filled with scrutiny.

"Ahem."

"I suffered very severe internal injuries."

Ide coughed lightly twice, forcing a few drops of tears from the corners of his eyes stiffly, acting as if he were very frail.

"Fine."

"I'm scared of you."

"You sleep on the bed, I'll sleep on the floor."

Seeing Ide acting as if he were about to cough himself to death, Ur answered decisively, directly giving up the bed to Ide.

"Good."

Ide happily accepted Ur's proposal and lay directly on Ur's wooden bed.

"Sigh."

Seeing this, Ur sighed deeply. After all, he was someone she had picked up from outside; she had to 'raise' him even if it meant suffering.

At the same time, Ur roared internally: Ur, listen to me! Starting today, you absolutely cannot give out charity indiscriminately.

Lights out, sleep.

Ide lay on the bed, while Ur lay on the floor where the bedding had been spread out.

However, not long after, Ur realized there was a faint sound of breathing coming from behind her. This breathing made Ur's scalp tingle, and her face turned iron blue: "Ide, I already gave the bed to you, what are you doing now?!"

"Ur, the bed is too cold."

"I need to lie in a warmer place so my body can recover better."

Ide took the opportunity to wrap his arm around Ur's lower abdomen, adopting an 'honest' posture as he spoke softly.

"Take your hand away. Any more nonsense and you get out of my wooden house."

Ur suppressed the 'anger' in her heart and said in a deep voice.

"Ahem."

"I saved your best friend, I saved the town, and I am still a patient."

In response, Ide directly used the 'three-piece set' of excuses he had prepared long ago.

"Pfft."

"Fine."

"Sleep wherever you want, just sleep!"

After Ur's body trembled slightly a few times, she fell silent.

"Ur, you really are a good person."

With that, Ide could finally hold Ur and fall asleep soundly.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Soon, Ide's breathing became even, and he fell into a deep sleep.

"Oh no."

"My heart is beating so fast."

"My whole body is so hot."

"I can't sleep at all."

In contrast, Ur's cheeks were as red as ripe apples. She lay motionless in Ide's arms, not even daring to change her posture, realizing she was suffering from insomnia for the first time.

The next morning.

"Mmm..."

When Ur woke up from her sleep, she found herself lying on the bed with the quilt neatly covering her. She realized she had a bit of a headache and had absolutely no idea when she had fallen asleep last night.

"Not good!"

After a brief moment of daze, Ur suddenly remembered something. She bolted out of the covers and shouted, "I have to prepare breakfast."

Click.

Just then, Ide, who had already prepared breakfast, pushed the door open and entered. He and the barefoot Ur locked eyes just like that.

Gurgle~

At the same time, Ur's disappointing stomach let out an incredibly loud sound.

"Uh."

For a moment, Ur didn't dare to move even more; she was so ashamed she wanted to find a crack in the ground to crawl into.

"Heh."

"Let's eat first."

Ide said as he looked at Ur, who was turning red from her white toes all the way to her neck at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"Okay."

Ur nodded like a quail and sat obediently at the dining table.

"Here."

"I made this myself."

"How does it taste?!"

Seeing Ur sitting at the table, Ide placed the stew he had prepared in front of her and personally lifted the pot lid.

Whoosh!

Instantly, hot white steam carrying the aroma of food sprayed out, causing Ur, who was about to faint from hunger, to have her eyes light up.

Munch! Munch! Munch!

Ur didn't give Ide a chance to introduce much. She picked up the iron pot in front of her, served herself a bowl of the stew, and began to eat in big mouthfuls.

"Delicious!"

"Another bowl."

Ur quickly finished a bowl of stew, then handed the empty bowl to Ide and shouted loudly.

"Okay."

Ide served Ur another bowl of stew as if taking care of a child.

"Ide, you are very good at cooking?"

Ur suddenly realized that Ide seemed to have many, many secrets.

"Yes."

"If I couldn't cook, I would have starved to death long ago."

Ide recalled the incredibly arduous times when he first transmigrated, and the corners of his mouth couldn't help but twitch.

"You've had it hard too."

Ur looked at Ide, who was lost in memories. She didn't ask anything; she believed that one day, Ide would tell her.

"The stew is here. I've already eaten. If it's not enough, serve yourself. Put the bowl in the sink after eating; I'll wash it after I finish cultivating."

Ide said to Ur.

As for the source of the food: the meat was from a magical beast on the mountain, the vegetables were wild greens from the roadside that no one wanted, and the seasonings and cookware belonged to Ur. From preparing the food to finishing the meal, it took Ide about an hour.

As for taking care of Ur, Ide felt it was something he should do. After all, Ur had saved him, and he was currently relying on Ur for food and shelter.

"Continue cultivating."

After doing all this, Ide returned outside the small house, took off his clothes to reveal his muscular body, and began today's cultivation.

"So muscular."

Ur sat in the wooden house, eating stew while looking at Ide's muscular and well-defined body. Her cheeks blushed again. Why hadn't she noticed Ide's body was so fit and stylish before?

Was it because it was too dark yesterday?

Current Total Mana: 20

Ide slept for eight hours yesterday, gaining eight points from idling. He went up the mountain to hunt and cook, spending one hour, which counted as two points of energy. Counting the balance of ten points from yesterday, that was twenty points of energy.

It was still not quite enough for Ide to upgrade his magic to Level 2.
