Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 -- Meteorite

Standing before the yawning hatch of the Yunmo Starship, Bai Yue extended his Mental Power inward. Like a tide sweeping a shore, it surged through the corridor and wrapped around every scattered Mu Ya Crystal, drawing them out one by one and storing them neatly within his Dao Fruit Space.

Only after the last crystal was secured did he withdraw his perception.

He did not step inside.

Instead, Bai Yue sat cross-legged at the edge of the hatch, his gaze calm, as if the ancient starship before him were nothing more than an ordinary ruin.

Inside the starship, however, chaos reigned.

"Damn it! You little brat—take the Mu Ya Crystals and then just sit there?! Come in already!"

Babata, the black-robed child with blazing red eyes, paced back and forth furiously, his small feet stamping against the metallic floor.

"This guy is completely abnormal! Dual cultivation as a Martial Artist and a Mental Master, already at Astral Rank Fourth Stage, and he's even comprehended a Domain! What kind of freak is this?!"

In truth, Babata had been watching Bai Yue for a long time.

Back when Bai Yue first came to Mist Island, his performance before becoming a Martial Artist had been unremarkable—talent present, but nothing earth-shattering. Yet after awakening as a Martial Artist, his growth became terrifyingly abnormal.

Because Bai Yue rarely acted publicly, Babata lacked detailed intelligence. Still, from the secret manuals Bai Yue had independently created, Babata could infer one thing with certainty—this Human possessed absurd comprehension and martial insight, completely inconsistent with his earlier records.

More importantly, Babata's usual psychological inducements simply did not work on him.

That alone was enough to raise alarm.

This time, when Bai Yue returned and approached the Yunmo Starship again, Babata relied on the ship's detectors to barely sense his cultivation level and the faint fluctuations of a Domain. The sheer leap in progress left even Babata—who had lived countless years—stunned.

He was certain of one thing.

This was the successor he had been waiting for.

And yet…

No matter what he tried, Bai Yue simply would not enter.

Babata could only rage helplessly inside the ship, watching opportunity sit right outside the door.

Outside, Bai Yue was entirely unaware of Babata's frustration.

His attention was fixed on the material composing the starship's hull—Red-Mixed Copper Mother.

He reached out with Mental Power, probing carefully.

Nothing.

Not a ripple.

As expected, even Astral Rank Mental Power was utterly incapable of penetrating this F-grade metal. Though it was famously weak against soul attacks, that weakness only manifested at vastly higher levels.

Bai Yue's eyes narrowed slightly.

Then he activated Analysis of All Things.

In an instant, his perception was lifted as though into a higher dimension. What his eyes and Mental Power could not touch was now laid bare. The structure of Red-Mixed Copper Mother unfolded layer by layer—from the macroscopic shell to the deepest microscopic composition.

Particles intertwined like constellations.

Systems nested within systems.

What he saw was not metal, but a miniature universe, vast and intricate.

Just as he attempted to delve deeper—

His consciousness was violently snapped back.

Bai Yue's body swayed slightly. A wave of exhaustion surged through him as he realized his Mental Power had been completely drained.

Without hesitation, he activated Creation.

Streams of pure Mental Power manifested out of nothingness, imprinted with his will, and flowed back into his sea of consciousness. Within a minute, he had fully recovered.

Then he began again.

Analyze.

Deplete.

Create.

Restore.

Once. Twice. Dozens of times.

Gradually, the image of Red-Mixed Copper Mother became clearer—stars connected to stars, structures forming vast three-dimensional networks of unfathomable complexity.

This was only the basic composition.

To go further would be to dissect an entire universe.

Even so, Bai Yue pressed on.

Time passed unnoticed.

Then—

His eyes snapped open.

"…This is the Metal Domain."

Shock flickered across his face.

Through the repeated analysis of Red-Mixed Copper Mother, he had unconsciously comprehended a second Domain.

His Earth Domain—already at the fifth stage—had been his primary focus. He had never deliberately pursued other elemental Domains. Yet now, through pure immersion and analysis, the Metal Domain had taken shape on its own.

A rare, genuine smile appeared on Bai Yue's face.

This was no accident—it was confirmation.

Strength, comprehension, and method were aligning.

With renewed resolve, he continued.

Two full days passed.

During this time, Bai Yue repeated the cycle relentlessly. His Metal Domain surged forward, rapidly reaching the fifth stage. The resonance between Earth and Metal even pushed his Earth Domain into the sixth stage.

Only then did he finally stop.

"…Finished."

Psychological fatigue washed over him, heavier than any physical exhaustion. Yet the harvest was staggering.

In the wider universe, even a fragment of Red-Mixed Copper Mother could spark wars among Domain Lords and World Lords. If he wished, Bai Yue could now create nearly a ton of it per day—raw material alone worth no less than a Hun Yuan unit.

Weapons refined from it would be worth far more.

He retrieved his alloy long staff.

Over time, it had already been reinforced to a third-order force weapon, its material reaching fourth-order. Now, activating Creation once more, Bai Yue began replacing its core structure with Red-Mixed Copper Mother itself.

The staff's aura deepened, growing heavier, more ancient.

As he worked, his perception suddenly shifted.

Movement above.

His sixth-stage Earth Domain expanded, and a familiar figure entered his awareness.

"Fengzi, come over," Bai Yue transmitted calmly.

A moment later, Luo Feng burst through the soil layer, arriving at the hatch in a flash.

"Lao Bai? Why are you here?"

Bai Yue chuckled lightly. "Of course there's good stuff here. But tell me—how did you get here?"

Luo Feng opened his mouth to answer, then froze.

A chill crept up his spine.

Only now did he realize how strange his recent actions had been—how naturally he had been guided here, step by step, without ever questioning it.

If that influence had been malicious…

He didn't even want to imagine the outcome.
