Chapter 33 - Jogo VS Tatsuma

Boom!

Overwhelming Curse Energy instantly erupted, spreading outwards.

Standing directly in front of Jogo, Tatsuma felt the surrounding scenery blur, and he found himself inside a strange volcano.

Crimson red magma churned continuously beneath his feet, and the heat in the air rapidly climbed at a speed visible to the naked eye.

With a hiss, a corner of Tatsuma's clothes caught fire. However, in the next instant, this flame was extinguished by the demonic power on his body.

Tatsuma said, "So this is a domain? The amplification of Cursed Techniques is a bit stronger than I imagined."

Jogo sneered, "A bit? It seems you still don't understand the true power of a Domain."

Jogo summoned a large amount of flames, gathering them in his palm, transforming into a fiery arrow radiating terrifying heat.

"Let me tell you, besides being able to enhance the power of Cursed Techniques, the greatest characteristic of a Domain is... guaranteed hit."

The moment his voice fell, the fiery arrow in Jogo's palm shot out in a straight line, appearing in front of Tatsuma in the next instant.

Boom!

The strike that gathered all of Jogo's power hit Tatsuma head-on, and the surging flames incinerated Tatsuma's upper body.

"It's over."

Jogo let out a long breath.

After a month of growth, Tatsuma's current strength was greater than he had anticipated. But luckily, he was given a new plan.

"Next is Itadori, I have to make him eat the finger."

"Why?"

"Of course, it's for... Hm?"

Halfway through his sentence, Jogo suddenly realized something was wrong and turned his head to look not far away.

Under his gaze, Tatsuma, whose upper body had been incinerated, had somehow returned to his original state.

"Impossible! Why aren't you dead yet!"

"Guess?"

"Putting on a show!"

Jogo snorted coldly and summoned another fiery arrow.

"So what if you can revive! In this domain, I can kill you as many times as I want!"

"That's hard to say."

Tatsuma activated the fifth Boost, and his figure flickered, appearing in front of Jogo. At the same time, the fiery arrow in Jogo's hand shot out again, piercing through his upper body. Then, under Jogo's astonished gaze, Tatsuma's upper body rapidly recovered at a speed visible to the naked eye.

"Alright, the game should end now."

Tatsuma reached out and grabbed Jogo's head, a green magic array appearing in his palm.

Soul Tremor!

A terrifying spiritual fluctuation instantly descended, and Jogo lost consciousness without even a chance to resist. After losing Jogo's maintenance, the domain radiating terrifying high temperature collapsed in the next second.

Bringing the unconscious Jogo with him, Tatsuma returned to the juvenile detention center.

But just then, Yuji fell from above, landing on the ground in a spread-eagle shape.

"What are you doing?"

Tatsuma, who hadn't expected this scene, was momentarily stunned.

"Cough, Fushiguro just said that attacking the domain from the outside might break it, I wanted to try and see if I could get in to save you." Yuji got up, rubbing his forehead, his expression a little awkward.

Not far away, Megumi and Nobara were in an attacking stance, their expressions serious.

However, upon seeing Tatsuma come out carrying Jogo, both of them widened their eyes in unison, showing expressions of disbelief.

What's going on?

Tatsuma defeated that monster head-on inside its domain?

"So that's how it is."

Just as Megumi and the others' worldviews were shattering, stunned and lost in thought by this unexpected situation, Tatsuma realized what had happened.

He said, "Although I understand you meant well, it's better not to do such suicidal things next time."

"After all, my original intention in isolating you outside the domain was to prevent you from getting injured."

"Isolate?"

Megumi was stunned, finally realizing the truth belatedly.

"So we weren't pulled into that domain because you did something."

Tatsuma replied casually, "It was a kind of experiment, I tried to use Space Magic to block the expansion of the domain."

In fact, it was precisely because the experiment was successful in isolating the three of them outside the domain that Tatsuma was so relaxed just now.

If the experiment had failed and the three of them were pulled into the domain together, Jogo would have had no chance to attack just now. Tatsuma would have directly activated Balance Breaker and unleashed full firepower to kill him before Jogo could react. But in that case, he would have missed the opportunity to obtain information.

Looking at the unconscious Jogo in his hand, Tatsuma gathered a magic array in his palm. In the next second, all the memories in Jogo's mind were exposed before him.

...

On a tall building a thousand meters away from the juvenile detention center.

Jogo's companions looked on, some standing, some lying down.

"Mahito, Jogo failed."

"Huh? Really?"

Mahito, who was lying beside him, sprang up, his face showing a surprised expression.

"What about Ophis' Snake? Did Jogo not use it?"

"He used it, but he still lost."

"???"

Mahito's face showed an expression of disbelief.

You know, after Jogo used the snake, his strength was even comparable to a High-class devil.

To be able to defeat Jogo even in that state, did Tatsuma turn on a cheat?

"We should go."

His companion's voice became serious again. "Although it's unlikely, Jogo might have a way to escape. It's no longer safe here, we need to leave before we are discovered."

Mahito asked, "That's true, but what about the next plan?"

They had deliberately set up this trap to lure Tatsuma, precisely to nip him in the bud before he grew up. Only by dealing with Tatsuma, this threat, could they boldly make a move on Yuji and Jujutsu High, and prepare to resurrect Sukuna.

But now the plan had failed, and they had lost Jogo, their strongest combatant.

Next, whether it was approaching Yuji or infiltrating Jujutsu High, the difficulty would greatly increase.

More importantly, Tatsuma's growth speed was too abnormal. At this rate, even if they successfully resurrected Sukuna, they might not be able to defeat him.

"Don't worry, I already anticipated this situation before setting out."

His companion smiled and patted Mahito's shoulder. "Since Jogo can't defeat him, then let's find someone who can."
