After the rooftop meeting disbanded, Naruto went home. He wasn't worried about the bell-grabbing game in the least. In fact, if he were to be honest, his current overall strength likely far outclassed Kakashi's—at least the "depressed, rusty Kakashi" of this era.

Over the years, Naruto had used his knowledge of the future and his monstrous chakra reserves to refine his arsenal. By secretly observing the Hyuga training, he hadn't just stolen the essence of the Gentle Fist; he had successfully reverse-engineered a simplified version of Kaguya's Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack.

He had effectively fused chakra nature transformations into his palm strikes, creating a series of attribute-specific Vacuum Attacks that required no hand seals:

Fire: Fierce Flame Rush – Launches a scorching gale that can incinerate a corridor.

Water: Water Dragon Prison – Traps the foe in a spinning orb of water upon impact.

Wind: Wind Pressure Siphon – Uses air currents to yank enemies into his reach or blast them away.

Earth: Earth Transformation – Reorganizes the terrain to counter subterranean attacks.

Lightning: Divine Sky Strike – A piercing, chaining bolt that ignores heavy armor.

I'm not even using Ninjutsu—this is Taijutsu, Naruto mused. So technically, I'm still the most "traditional" Ninja around. He looked at his hands. Between his Eight Gates training with Guy, his awakening Wood Release, and the ability to call on Kurama's tails, he was a walking fortress.

At dawn the next day, Naruto arrived at the training ground before anyone else. He set down a bento filled with enough food for three and began his morning workout, the heavy weights on his limbs feeling like a second skin.

By the time Sasuke and Sakura arrived, Naruto was finishing a set of high-speed katas. He wiped a thin layer of sweat from his brow and offered a reassuring smile. "Relax, you two. I've already figured out what today's mission is."

Sakura's eyes lit up. "As expected of Naruto!" Even Sasuke leaned in, his curiosity piqued.

"It's the classic Academy tradition," Naruto explained, raising three fingers. "Three people, but only two bells—"

A hand suddenly landed on his shoulder. Kakashi had appeared behind him like a ghost, his eye curving into a crescent moon. "My, my... spoilers are a very bad habit, Naruto-kun."

He stepped forward, the red-tasseled bells in his hand chiming softly. "Exactly as Naruto said—three people, two bells. Whoever fails to get one by noon is tied to a post and sent back to the Academy."

Kakashi's gaze turned razor-sharp, his aura shifting from lethargic to lethal in an instant. "You must come at me with the resolve to kill. Ninja battles are never child's play."

Sasuke's pupils shrank; Sakura instinctively retreated. Only Naruto kept his calm smile, watching the drama unfold. Kakashi then pointed toward the center of the field. "Sasuke, Sakura, go on ahead. I need a word with Naruto."

Once the two were out of earshot, Kakashi exhaled a long, weary sigh. He turned to Naruto, his lone eye showing a mix of helplessness and annoyance.

"If I hadn't spent half the morning lining up at the bookstore for the latest volume of The Romantic Ninjutsu Tales of Shimura, you would have spoiled the entire surprise."

He pulled the just-bought novel from his pouch, showing off the "Limited Edition" gold-embossed cover. "It even comes with a collector's photo of Shimura and his seven heroines. It was almost sold out." He smoothed a bent page with the tenderness one might show a wounded comrade.

Naruto barely stifled a laugh. "Kakashi-sensei... your adult collector's sticker is showing."

"Huh?" Kakashi glanced at the cover—sure enough, the "Explicit Version" seal was glaring in the sunlight. The patch of face above his mask turned a brilliant shade of crimson.

The Romantic Ninjutsu Tales of Shimura was, at its core, a story of ambition, but Naruto—using the business logic of his previous life—had released both all-ages and adult editions to maximize his royalties. It seemed his new sensei was a premium subscriber.

Kakashi frantically stuffed the novel back into his pouch and cleared his throat. "I... I grabbed the wrong one because the crowd was so thick. It was a mistake."

Naruto kept a straight face with monumental effort. "So, about the mission..."

"The mission continues!" Kakashi said, trying to reclaim his dignity. He gave Naruto a stern look. "Consider this your first lesson: in real combat, intel can change. Opponents adapt. Don't over-rely on what you think you know. A true Ninja adapts to a shifting battlefield."

Naruto wiped away his grin and nodded solemnly. "Understood, sensei."
