Selene opened the box carefully.
"WAIT LITTLE MOON, THIS IS—"
"What happened mother?" Aurelion shot back instantly.
"Ohh don't worry, little moon."
"Is this a magical ornament?" Selene asked.
"Yes mother, is there anything worrying about it?" Aurelion asked.
"Nothing to worry, I just couldn't believe how we both thought of the same thing." Selene replied with a calming smile.
"Same thing???" Aurelion asked with a muddled expression.
"I forgot to tell you before so I also wanted to gift you something about to apologize properly." Selene answered with those puppy eyes.
"There's nothing to apologize mother. I know that you would have never done that intentionally."
"Regardless, it is a happy occasion. So how do you like the pendant?" Aurelion asking warmly.
"Maria" Selene called.
Selene's personal maid who was also the head maid came forward.
She also brought a gift box in her hand same as Lyra, only difference being that this one was fully gold plated.
"Here, little moon." Selene gave the box to Aurelion.
Aurelion opened the box. It was the same Crescent moon pendant. Though, this one looked much more refined and neat. Also, it radiated strong ether mana from inside.
Both Mother and Son looked at each other for a while then burst into laughter.
"Hahaha, so that's what you meant mother." Aurelion laughed.
They both checked each other's gift.
"Here, give me yours." Selene said.
She took both the crescent pendants and held them in her hand.
Selene started chanting something, a mana circle erupted in the air. Mana started gaushing in the environment.

The circuit erupted and the mana circle behind disappeared. The pendant joined with each other still retaining their different textures.
Selene cracked the joined pendant and split it into two perfect halves.
"What did you do, mother?" Aurelion asked.
"I just enhanced the enchantments in both the pendants. I have also added a communication spell in this, while connecting these two. Now, whenever you will tap two times on your pendant, mine - the one you have gifted me, will ring and we can connect with each other and have a conversation. It goes both ways." Selene explained.
"Wow mother, I never you were so good at enchanting too." Aurelion praised.
"Hehe, Your Mother was the third youngest in historyto become an Archmage." Selene boasted.
She put a finger under her nose and slightly blushed it.
"Woah, that's such an incredible thing to achieve. Who were the other two mother?" Aurelion asked sincerely.
"The second was ZERAPHOS OF THE SILENT AGE, The Genius Archmage and one of the only few ones to reach the 9th Circle."
"You must have read about him in your magical theory and history books, he is the one who is commonly known as The First Magician." Selene extended.
THE FIRST MAGICIAN, YEAH THAT DUDE, I HAVE READ A LOT ABOUT HIM. APPARENTLY, THAT GUY IS THE REASON WHY PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD ARE ABLE TO CHANNELIZE MANA. HIS THEORIES ARE STILL UNMATCHED.

The First Magician Zeraphos of the Silent Night, started his magical research at the age of 12. Before that he had no prior magic circles or knowledge of mana.
