Then Zetsun asked,
"Who is this Moderator—the owner of that other world?"
Izu said it's you!
He froze for a moment.
"Me? How is that even possible?"
Izu replied calmly,
"The you from our world. The other-world Zetsun."
He continued,
"But the King hated you. That's why he temporarily killed the Moderator."
Zetsun's eyes widened.
"So what you're saying is… the Zetsun from the other world is the Moderator. And that's why that cat is after me."
Izu nodded.
"And I've gone missing in this world as well."
Suddenly,
Zetsun remembered something.
"Hakura told me about four or five missing people. One of them was a so-called crazy sixteen-year-old boy. Don't tell me… that was you?"
Izu answered softly,
"Yes. And now, those four or five people from our world want to save your world."
Zetsun felt his head spin.
"I should tell Hakura all of this."
Izu immediately stopped him.

He sighed.

"One of the missing people is Mira. Her grandfather is no longer alive. The King killed both her grandfather in this world and the one in our world."
Zetsun clenched his fists.
"That's horrible…"
"That's why," Izu said, "Mira now wants revenge for her grandfather."
"Where is she now?" Zetsun asked.
"She's forming two separate teams," Izu replied.
"They're planning to kill the King."
Zetsun hesitated.
"So… they all have powers?"
Izu gave a small smile.
"You understand quickly. In that world, their powers have awakened. Mira can turn objects into stone."
He pointed to himself.
"And I—my ability allows me to control people."
Then he looked straight at Zetsun.
"As for you… your power—we still don't know."
Zetsun shook his head.
"I don't have any powers. I'm just an ordinary guy."
Izu replied reassuringly,
"That's fine. We'll find out soon."
He then explained his plan.
"First, we'll go through the zebra crossing to reach that world, and then—"
Before he could finish—
The black-and-white cat suddenly appeared and released a massive cloud of smoke, striking Izu and badly injuring him.
Izu groaned,
"That damn cat—!"
Zetsun panicked, but the cat stood directly in front of him.
That's when Zetsun noticed something shocking—
The cat was wearing the same necklace as him.
The cat spat a black, liquid-like energy attack from its mouth.
Zetsun narrowly dodged it and smirked.
"Man, your aim seriously sucks."
The cat growled in rage and attacked again.
A fierce fight broke out, but Zetsun was just an ordinary human—and the cat was far stronger.
Zetsun was slammed to the ground.
The cat sneered,
"So weak."
It raised its attack, ready to kill Zetsun—
Suddenly, Izu trapped the cat inside a glowing purple aurora sphere.
The cat screamed,
"Let me out! My King will kill you!"
Zetsun stood up and said firmly,
"You're going to tell us what's really going on."
The cat snapped back,
"I won't tell you anything!"
Izu stepped forward with a grin.
"So you won't listen peacefully, huh? Looks like you don't know about the power of my STINKY toes."
He burst out laughing.
Zetsun and the cat both stared at him in shock.
Izu cleared his throat.
"Alright, jokes aside."
Zetsun looked at the cat coldly.
"Tell us everything—about the Moderator, the King, and Queen Zeblish."
The cat hesitated, then sighed.
"Fine. I'll tell you."
"The Moderator—Zetsun—is still alive. At least, that's not what the King told me."
He continued,
"That's why we were ordered to kill you. If you die, the Moderator will die too."
Zetsun asked,
"But why did the Moderator kill Queen Zeblish?"
The cat lowered its head.
"Because Queen Zeblish was actually Mira. The King changed her name to Zeblish."
"He killed her grandfather and told her that if she wanted him back, she had to become his Queen."
Mira never knew the truth—that it was the King who murdered her grandfather.
"But when the Moderator Zetsun discovered everything," the cat said,
"he killed Queen Zeblish."
"His world was once pure white. Because of the King, it turned black and white."
Zetsun was about to speak—
But—Just then, Zetsun felt something strange.
He looked around and realized that someone was following him.
He could clearly sense that someone was watching him from behind.
Zetsun said in a tense voice,
"We shouldn't waste any more time. Let's move—quickly."
Izu nodded.
"Yeah, let's go. And we should take this cat with us too."
The cat laughed coldly and said,
"The King will find you no matter where you run."
At that moment, Zetsun suddenly remembered something important.
Hakura had once mentioned three or four missing people, and he had started to say one more name—Zeb…—but never got the chance to finish.
Zetsun thought to himself,
If I can get even a little information, it could really help us.
So Zetsun decided to go to Hakura's house.
When he arrived, he saw that Hakura lived in an apartment building.
