(Demon Realm)
(Demon-Scattering Desert)
In a far region of the Demon realm, a small village was busy holding a festival to celebrate the coming of the red crescent moon.
While traveling in the Bifrost, Xinyu remembered something,
"Oh god, I just remembered that I forgot to tell Song Chu'an where to drop us", said he worried and with a look of surprise, and he smiled slightly.
"Come on it won't be that hard to find the portal-link no matter where he drops us", said the Crown prince with much confidence,
"Yes, you wouldn't care because you won't be the one to navigate us, you can't even find your nose, Idiot", said Xueying serious but with a touch of sarcasm, he gives her an amusing side-eye as they continued.
When they entered the demon realm, they landed in front of the demon village that was holding the festival,
"What is this, it's a village of demons", said the Crown prince very arrogantly,
"Hey, be nice and discreet and well-mannered, don't start any trouble", said Xueying to the Crown prince, strictly pointing at him with her finger, causing him to stare at her cross-eyed.
As they entered the village, everyone started looking at them, avoiding them for, they did not know who they were, unaware that they were being followed.
"Why is everyone avoiding us, we're not bad people", said Xueying softly, and a guilty look appeared on her face.
"I know, but we are foreign to them, so bear with it, until we find the way to the portal-link", said Xinyu, looking for a place to perform a navigation array spell.
As Xinyu looked around, he saw a nice, secluded space behind a building that appeared abandoned.
"Come, that looks like a good place to do it, no one will see us here," said Xinyu as he found a dark alley secluded from the main street, away from everyone.
"Let's do it here", said Xinyu, standing in the middle of the alley.
As he was about to perform the spell, a small figure came out of the shadows.
It was a girl. "What are you guys doing here in the demon realm?" asked the strange girl.
"Why do you want to know?" answered the Crown Prince arrogantly, not trusting her.
"Do not be so rude, we are just passing by", said Xueying.
"You're not from here or any lower realm, are you?", said the girl curiously, while looking at their clothes.
"How did you know?", asked Xinyu with a worried face.
"Your fancy attire so why are you here?", she asked again.
"To find…", said Xinyu before he was interrupted,
"You're here for the Enlin", said the girl smartly,
"I don't like interruptions", said Xinyu calmly.
"Who are you?", asked the crown prince.
"You will know soon enough, I can take you there, just follow me", she said confidently and flew off.
"Why must we follow her?", asked the prince, "She seems arrogant."
"Yes, sounds like someone we know, doesn't it, Xinyu?", said Xueying, looking at the Crown Prince.
They flew off following the girl, and together they flashed away.
With the children finding their way and getting some help, a familiar presence was entering the Demon Realm.
Lord Arceus and Lord Xuan Yu arrived in the demon realm, and they were received by a person wearing black spy-like clothes. He took them to an inn where they were going to meet someone.
At the Crimson Palace, the demon king saw that his daughter was gone, and he immediately knew where she was going and took his royal guard to find her.
Back at the inn, Lord Arceus and Lord Bai Xuan Yu were shown to a room.
"My lords, the person will be with you in a minute. I ask you to please be patient while you wait", said the man and bowed to them respectively.
"Very well, we will have to wait then", said Bai Xuan Yu to Arceus sarcastically and smiled.
"This presence is…" said Arceus to himself as Xuan Yu kept talking.
As Xuan Yu kept talking, a woman with bright blue eyes and black hair falling like a waterfall on her back entered the room and stood in front of them and bowed. She was the person they were waiting for, "You kept us waiting", said Arceus sarcastically to see her reaction.
"Sorry, my Lords, but I had urgent matters to attend to", said she firmly.
"Like what? attending to your many husbands?", said Arceus playfully, sarcastically.
They then sat down to talk.
"So, can you tell us what happened at the South-link?" asked Bai Xuan Yu curiously.
"Very well then, Xuan Yu, there was a strange spike in the energy flow in the demon realm before the attack, and not only that, over the past few months, many missing demon reports have been made to the demon king, but no response", said she worryingly.
"You said spike in energy flow, what is so important about that?", asked Arceus,
"And the missing demons, that is not alarming to us", said Bai Xuan Yu,
"I know a few days ago one of my spies saw a cloaked individual secretly entering the western portal-link".
"And?", asked Bai Xuan Yu unworried.
"He had the mark of the Titan", said she, and Arceus and Bai Xuan Yu both were shocked, and a sense of fear entered the room.
"Titan-mark, but that's impossible", said Bai Xuan Yu, worried and looking at Arceus,
"Nothing is impossible, dear husband, if so, then the southern portal-link…", said Arceus before hearing a loud bang outside the room and a man rushing in,
"My lady demon soldiers", said the man as he stood there nervously.
A demon battalion was busy raiding the inn.
"Find that woman!" said the captain leading the invasion.
"Demons, my lords…" said she, looking scared.
"We know", said Arceus, who had sensed the battalion coming.
"There is no more than a hundred", said Bai Xuan Yu confidently.
"Then you can deal with them", ordered Arceus sarcastically.
The demons barged into the room, breaking down the door.
"How rude of you to enter without knocking", said Bai Xuan Yu, standing in front of them and unsheathing his sword.
"So shall we begin", said he calmly, and they attacked him.
As they began to clash, elsewhere the children were running into their own problems.
The children on their way to the portal-link sense something is off about the region they are flying over. "What is it?" asked Xueying, seeing that Xinyu was disturbed.
"Don't you sense it?" he asked in return, and she answered no, shaking her head. Then out of nowhere, a creature attacked the girl. She dodged the attack, but was grazed by its claw. The Crown Prince then attacked the creature, which had a scaly back with two huge horns on its head and looked like a bull covered with a lot of fur.
As the prince attacked it, it was driven back, giving them time to form a plan to attack it and escape. "What is that? It does not look like any demon I have seen", said the Crown Prince.
"It's a Broken one, a creature that feeds off other demons. They used to be normal demons themselves, but because they consumed devil energy, which is against the natural demon energy, they went wild and became uncontrollable", explained the girl, as she was standing up from the ground.
"How come the Demon King allows this thing to roam free, knowing it feeds off demons?", asked Xueying, very disappointed.
"He doesn't know of this, but the former Demon king was said to have exterminated them all", answered the girl defensibly.
"He probably just said so to appease the public so that he can use them later for his own benefit", said the Crown prince sternly,
"Enough, let's just deal with this creature now before it kills us all", said Xinyu very bored and irritated, "Okay what should we do?", asked Xueying.
The creature then attacked again, and the children scattered in different directions except for Xinyu, who stood still, and the creature charged towards him.
"
The others looked at her with a feeling of uncertainty. "How did you do that?" asked Xueying. She then said that she learned it from a demon master at her school. The children did not fully believe her, but they had to get to the portal-link no matter what, so they just let it go.
"Shall we go then?" asked the girl, and all of them left for the portal-link.
Back at the inn, Lord Xuan Yu was busy fighting the demon battalion, and the lady and Lord Arceus were watching on the roof. "Come on, this can't be all the demon realm has to offer", said Xuan Yu, who had not even gotten a single scratch.
"Don't underestimate me", said the demon captain and attacked Lord Bai Xuan Yu with all his might.
He tricked Xuan Yu into thinking that he was charging from the back by using an illusion spell and attacked him from the side, forcing Bai Xuan Yu to jump back and made him bleed by gazing his arm, "How's that?", asked the demon captain, "I think he's dead now", said the demon lady sarcastically.
He then retaliated, "
The rest of the demon soldiers tried to attack Arceus and the demon lady. Arceus then, with a wave of his arm, sent a wave of energy charging towards the demon soldiers, disintegrating them immediately into dust.
The Demon lady looked at Arceus in awe, but with a slight sense of fear.
"As always, he remains", said she to herself.
Then, Arceus looked up into the sky, sensed the energy of Xinyu, and went in the direction of the portal-link. Xuan Yu followed him,
"Sorry, seems he's in a hurry", said he to the Demon lady, who nodded her head.
He then flashed off.
At the portal-link, something bad happened. The Enlin that was attacking got through the guards and was trying to rip open the seal on the portal-link. The children arrived at the portal-link.
"What's going on?" asked the girl, and the demon guards bowed to her.
"Greetings, Your Highness", said the guards when they saw her. "Your Highness, the creature is trying to break through the portal-link seal", said the guard captain worryingly.
"Your highness?", asked the Crown prince looking surprised, "Wait you did not notice something weird about her", asked Xinyu surprised at his cousin reaction, "You knew", asked the Crown prince, "What an idiot her powerful demon energy resembles that of the demon king", said Xueying irritated at her cousin's foolishness.
"Hi, I am the Princess Royal of the Demon realm", said the girl cheerfully as she transformed into her royal attire. "It's about time I was….", said Xinyu before being interrupted by the sound of the breaking seal from the portal-link.
"The seal is broken", shouted one soldier. The creature used all the power that it got from absorbing demons to break the seal and vanish. "Everyone, listen to my order, stand your ground, my father will be here soon", commanded the Demon princess.
Suddenly, a horde of dark creatures came through the portal-link and started attacking the demon guards. "What are those?" asked the Crown Prince. The demon guards and the children struggle to hold their ground and are pushed back by the horde of dark creatures, unknown to them.
Then Xinyu felt a strange presence, "This is my…", said Xinyu, shocked.
"Guys, we have to hide now someone is coming", shouted Xinyu, scared, "Why the horde of…", said Xueying, confused. "Forget the horde, this person is more dangerous", said Xinyu, stuttering.
The others then listened to Xinyu and jumped behind some cover of rocks, and then Xinyu used a spell to cover their energy presence.
Lord Arceus and Lord Xuan Yu arrived at the portal-link, and so did the Demon King. "Ahh, Arceus, you're here to", said the Demon King, pleased. "Father", shouted the princess happily. "Greetings, Your Majesty", said the demon guards, seeing the king.
The Demon King and Lord Xuan Yu jumped into battle then pushed the horde back, "
Lord Arceus then created an array to re-seal the portal-link, "That should do it", said Arceus, reassured. "Good, now everything back to normal", said the Demon King happily. "Why don't you come and have some food at the Crimson Palace?", asked the Demon King to them.
"We will have to decline, we have important matters to attend to", said Arceus in a hurry, looking around.
As Arceus and Xuan Yu left, the children came out of hiding. "Wow, they are gone", said the Crown Prince, relieved.
"If they had seen us, we would have been in big trouble", said Xueying. The princess then came to them without her father noticing, "Are you okay? I have to go now, see you again next time", said the princess as she was about to leave.
The Crown Prince stopped her, "What is your name?" he asked.
"My name is Xi Yuan", she said shyly. "I am Zhinu", responded the Crown Prince.
"It was nice meeting you", he said charmingly. "You too", said she shyly, and she went to her father.
The children then went home, "Song Chu'an, we are ready", said Xinyu to the gatekeepers, and they teleported them back home.
