Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 – Budgeting Basics

Tomi grabbed a notebook and started listing her weekly expenses: transport, meals, snacks, and small treats.

She gasped. She was spending ₦200–₦300 a day on snacks alone!

Ada had told her: "Track everything. If you don't know where your money goes, you'll never control it."

Tomi set up a simple plan:

₦300 for transport ₦200 for meals ₦500 for savings/investing

The first day went well. By day two, she was tempted to buy a smoothie. But she paused. Could she skip it? Yes — and that tiny decision made her feel powerful.

Lesson learned: small daily choices add up over time.
