Obscurials have extremely short lifespans; aside from Credence in the movie, it seems no Obscurial has ever lived past ten years old.
The original body underwent various black magic experiments and modifications, making its magical adaptability far beyond that of ordinary people.
In addition, the dark wizard's deliberate actions caused the original body to survive until the age of eleven.

The original body erupted and silently destroyed this place. It was only a matter of time before the wizards arrived, but no one expected that he would act so quickly!

In the movie "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them", when MACUSA discovers the existence of the Obscurus, it immediately launches an attack and destroys Credence.

The old man wore a purple robe with gold trim, and had long, silver hair and a silver beard that could be tucked into his belt. Behind his glasses, his deep blue eyes were bright and piercing.
The wizards present all looked surprised. "Headmaster Dumbledore? What are you doing here?"
