The end of the exam:
The exams finished on the fourth day, Friday. All the classes were called to line up at the starting point where we first disembarked from the ship. It was Thursday when we got the notification that the exams will be ending tomorrow.
Gathering the rest of our contrivances, instruments and tools were left behind since technically we didn't need them. Things like clothes, undergarments, and weapons were the items we brought back.
After we arrived the instructors were so amazed that, when they first saw us they began to give us a hand of applause. But just as immediately after we arrived the king and queen came and delivered their well pleased speech.
"Ah. Hello students of nations, how are you all?"
"We are fine." The students said with proud faces.
"Well, then I wanted more than anything to congratulate you guys. For surviving in there for 4 different days and thinking like adults. But now I am afraid I will have to get back on my duties. So without a minutes to miss; here are the ranking of the classes based on points:
"1st place goes to: Class C
"Huh!"
"How is that possible." Everyone was having different kinds of reactions. Based on many of them they seemed all rather surprised by the sudden growth of class C.
"Hmm. So he managed to pull something crazy off again huh." Said Nagumo who stood near the king's stage, but he sat at the back of it.
"How would that have happened, after everything I planted so far." Said Nanase faintly, her voice wouldn't be heard, even if you stayed right near her. "Well this was how much I suspected it to be." Said the king soundlessly.
The king relation with his wife now (Cecilia) is known to the general public. The ex queen also misconducts was publicly exposed.
"The class to take 6th place was class E." Class had 120 class points in total after the conclusion of the exams. "Meanwhile Class C had 370 class points with their juniors (the lower grade.)
It seems the king is going in an up and down format. This is where a person mentions the first people to take the first position first then says the people in the last position.
While class E didn't do well on the exams, it didn't bother them in the least because their main point in the school isn't class ranking it is students'private point. Private points were points or money the students receive annually and monthly. Because they made a deal with their lower grades their private points will be flooded with money.
And as a result of that the lower grades also gained a massive advantage; since they now have next year's exams papers, rules and books already. So this is how Rio plays games, huh!
"Class A took the 2nd position." The king said as he watched Eigi's classmates celebrate.
"Hmm. They do have a good chemistry with every student there so I guess it is not quite as shocking as class C's victory.
"Eigi to did great." Said Max.
"The class to win 5th position is class B." Who had 190 points in total while class A managed 348 class points in total.
"This is awkward."
"Well who could have thought." The audience surrounding us said.
"The 3rd position goes to class S. Who had 280 class points"
"Not a bad place to be in but still we expected more from you guys.
"Well. Yeah we have to agree with him.
"Finally the last class on this list is as we all figured it out: is class D. Who had 212 to win 4th positions." The king said. "But with these results, it also changes the class ranking drastically. From here I will announce the shifts in classes but I want you to know, this is not the end you can still crawl your way out." The encouraged them.
"Class S is now class A.
Class A is now class S.
Class B is now class D.
Class C is now class B.
Class D is now class C
And now class E is still class E.
With all this said, the instructors started letting us to ship but before we could even go inside the ship.
We heard a large 'grunt'. When we turned to see what it was. We saw a large monstrous giant. Immediately panic began to set in the people around there.
"Huh."
"What the heck is that?" Someone asked.
"That is a hell giant monster. One of the strongest demons that has ever lived, and it was also mentioned that they fought in the great war between man kind and demons." I said.
"Huh. Then how are we going to escape from that." Asked one of the passengers.
"Passengers don't worry, help has been called. You all know the legends Shiro and Peter right."
"Yeah."
"They have been contacted but in the meantime my men are trying to hold it back as best as they can."
"S-sure."
Without a moment to spear I turned to look at Rui, Max, Eigi and Rio who were on the same realisation as me. For a moment we all smiled and immediately hooped off the ship. But as we were about to leave Ai first hugged Eiji but as she did that she threw a magic ball artifacts into his pocket.
Suddenly the monster held his giant sword towards the air. The sword only had the weight of 9 different types of school buses. He swung his sword towards us, but I, Eigi and Rui seemed to have realised that before it could strike.
Rui activated his luna eyes and summoned a magic disrupting cube at it. The magic cube fell from the sky, heading down towards the monster. The hell giant seemed to have sensed the sensation of the cube. Then he immediately turned his body over 180 degrees in centimetres then he grabbed his sword and swung it at the magic cube.
Due to the impact on the cube, the move of it began to change in an unfamiliar direction. The cube moved from the north west position to the south east position on the map.
Seeing the cube falling to a different place gave me another idea. I quickly made eye contact with Eigi. Eigi seemed to have gotten the same idea I did, so we both quickly climbed the nearest trees around us. We both climbed them and hurried off to the fall cube. Using the pure eye ability "quick teleportation' I managed to teleport Eigi and myself to the top of the cube.
Max, Rio and Rui also immediately got what I was planning. Max activating his soul eyes rushed off to the head of the hell giant. Eigi with a single glance performed the same technique I used 'quick teleportation'. Eigi teleported the cube to the head of the hell giant but I also teleported Max to the top of the cube. Because if he had stayed there he would have died for sure. And with this we managed to subdue the monster (hell giant).
But it quickly got up but it was quite obvious that it had taken many damages to itself.
The hell giant manifested itself from the ground below. It planted a seed to the ground and manifested itself with the plant. Suddenly 6 humaniod tree-like creatures appeared to us. They had the thoughts of a human person but it didn't have any flesh, all it form had was a tree- like skin and the ability to think. Normally monsters don't have the ability to think.
Which means this monster will be the most dangerous thing we will ever fight in ourselves. Even if the possibility of us being alive is still there. Suddenly the monster began to speak.
"Hmm. So this was the evolution they spoke of huh. Well, this is quite nice of a creation of my status. A beauty among beauty."
"What the hell is he even saying?" Asked Lee.
"What are you?" Eigi and I asked in unison.
"I am the rebirth of the god tree from 10,000 years ago. The person who defeated me was you Rial."
"What?" I asked.
"You don't remember but I know who exactly who you are."
"..."
"You are from the Karasuki kingdom in Astroid continent."
Just as I started to wonder what this creature was Garmish told me: "He is one of the demons I fought 10,000 years ago. Don't worry you and the other guys are ready for threats like him. But still be careful he is dangerous. And also tell Rui to activate his mark."
"Hey Rui, I hate to say this but I think it is about time you started using all your powers."
Shira smiled at us, the god tree itself. Shira welcomes all that we bring to him, hand to hand combat, magic, astral arts, sage art, swordmenship and weapon use. He would welcome everything.
"?"
"Well. We have nothing to lose." Said Max.
Kakashi activated his star eyes, Rio released all his mana suppression, Eiichiro activated his spring eyes. Lee also activates his one eyed pure eye.
Suddenly something flew above us and exploded towards the god tree.
Boom!
"Huh."
"Are you guys okay?"
"Is this what they meant by defence, they are just children." Said Peter.
Suddenly we turned and saw the 2 men of legends Peter and Shiro. But immediately Shora the god tree cleared the smoke of dust that covered the landscape. Peter seemed to sensed the danger and said: "You guys should go w-we can handle this.
"Sir with all due respect I am not living here without taking one of this six to death so 'no' I am not living." I said.
"Well. I am not either." Replied Max, Eigi, Kakashi and Eiichiro.
"Boys let's get to work!" Said by an excited Rio.
And with that the Northern Crush arc or we could say the war between mankind and demons once again began.
