Chapter 3
The next day, Auralia went to school and told her friend, Nora, about what had happened to her, and treated her to a meal as a show of appreciation. Nora apologizes to Auralia for going through all that stress. Auralia wrote a leave of absence letter to work more and pay her tuition fee, as the fee was too high for her. At home, she was arranging her stuff when she had a call from Cassian saying he was at her entrance. She was actually shocked because she had just moved in that afternoon. She went downstairs to meet him and ask how he managed to get her new location. She noticed he was drunk and asked him if he had been drinking. Cassian said yes and continued to tell her that finding her was just a little thing for him. Auralia requested to massage his head, and he agreed. He then ask her why she moved out of her dorm she told him she wasn't able to gather enough money for her to tuition fee that was why she moved out .she continue to massage his head then he pulled her closer to himself and kissed her but she pushed him and ask him to stop and if that was the reason he came here, He said yes and that got her very angry and tell him to leave .tThe following day Aurelia got a call from Nora scolding her for paying her fees without telling her and still did not showing up at school. She told Nora to calm down, she was misunderstanding things. Nora thought she was now trying to hide things from her, and got angry and ended the call.
Auralia called Cassian to confirm if he was the one who paid her tuition fee, because apart from Nora, he is the only one who knows about this. He told her yes, so he just wants her to study hard and stay in school, so she should go back to school. Whilst on the call with Cassian, she heard two female voices, she got jealous and hung up the call.
Auralia found a new job at a golf course as a caddy. The day she started work, she met an old-time friend who came to have a business meeting with his client at the golf center. The old-time friend, Mr Brooks, at the office, Mr Cassian Archer was told he would be having a meeting with Mr Brooks, and he requested him to come meet him at the golf center. Which Cassian agreed to and told his P.A sterling to to tell him. At the park, Mr Brooks engaged in a conversation with Auralia to catch up on what had happened when he was away he asked her why she was not at school but that time she lied to him saying she was on summer break so she was doing this part-time job to kill time but Mr Brooks already knew she was telling lies. Mr Brooks continues to say my mom told me about ur brother when I came back, and u called her asking about your uncle. Tell me the truth, what happened to ur family? Mr Brooks said, then Cassian came in and interfered with their conversation. Teasing him about flirting with the caddy, Auralia then pulls her aside. Mr Brooks then cleared the air, saying Auralia is like a little sister to him, they grew up together, so Mr Archer is getting it all wrong, so they don't have that flirty behavior between them. As they proceed to start the game, Cassian asks Mr Brooks to switch caddies cause Auralia is just a new employee, and he doesn't know how to play. He should have a more advanced caddy on his side, so Auralia should switch places with his caddy. After the game, Mr Brooks asked to drop Auralia home so they could catch up more, on their way home he asked Auralia to accompany him to a party tomorrow and she accepted
At home, Cassian asked his PA Sterling to send back the money Auralia returned to him and asked him to tell her he won't bother her anymore
