Chapter 4
Mr Brooks sent Auralia the dress she will be wearing to the party. The next day, Mr Brooks came to pick her up at her house. He complimented her on her looks and left for the party. At the party, Mr Brooks told Auralia to hang around. He wanted to catch up with some old friends and business partners, but she shouldn't go too far, and then he left. At the party came the Harrisons' family only daughter. This family is also well known in the city. Clara, who had been betrothed to Cassian since childhood, came to grab a drink where Auralia was standing and mistakenly poured the drink on her. She pleaded and asked him to make it up to her by asking her to change into one of his new dresses she just bought. In the dressing room, Auralia met Cassian in the same room where he tried to confront her on why she is resisting and pushing him away. She didn't mind him, and he kissed her. He called his PA Sterling to get him a dress in Auralia's size After she finished changing she went out to meet Mr Brooks he asked her why she had changed her dress and she told him how everything went after the party they were about to go home when Cassian asked Mr Brooks to drop him off but requested Auralia be sent home first before him They dropped her off but on they're way the had a conversation where Cassian ask Mr Brooks if he is into Auralia but he replied saying she is like a sister to me
Auralia reports to work the following day and got a letter from her manager saying she is fired, because a VIP client of theirs complained about her and demanded that she be fired. Her manager consoled her and told her she had been keeping her eyes on her and saw how dedicated she was and how well she treated clients here, so she would compensate her, but she couldn't continue to work here starting from tomorrow. She packed her things and headed home but on his way, she broke down in tears and sat down on the walkway when she received a call from his brother's doctor saying his brother had stopped breathing thirty minutes ago but was resuscitated but his condition is still very critical and needs a lot of money for him to be attended to, so she has to act quick else they might lost him. Auralia picks up her remaining pieces and goes home when Nora calls to tell her about those guys who assault people being released. After the call, those same guys came banging on her door trying to break in. She called the police, and Mr Brooks also called. She told him to come save her. He even came before the police and took her with him to a meeting he had with Cassian.
The meeting was held in a club. Upon reaching there, they met Cassian and Clara, who were waiting for Mr Brooks.
