Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Time for Respite

The passage through time, the spatial portal, and the previous golden light, all these signs convinced Sui Yang that it was the work of the God-Emperor.

The existence of God-emperors implies the existence of the warp and evil gods. Faced with such chaos and filth, humanity needs ample time to recover.

In the world of Warhammer 40k, humanity is locked down in every way. Apart from endless war, there is only despair and darkness. There is no peace or stability. Death is the best destination... Scratch that even death you are not safe from the clutches of the warp

The warp has a certain possibility of involving the multiverse, and there are countless transmigrators in Warhammer 40,000.

In comparison, the main universe, with only the Vought Corporation and other threats, can definitely be considered a paradise. Even though it will eventually be affected by the subspace, humanity has at least tens of thousands of years to develop.

Therefore, Sui Yang has reason to believe that the God-Emperor brought him to the main universe, and gave him immortality, self-healing, and physical qualities far beyond those of ordinary people, as well as the newly acquired ability to open spatial gates, in the hope that he would allow humanity in the main universe to gradually grow stronger.

Once humanity in the main universe can break free from warp travel and become a physical and technological race no less advanced than, or even more advanced than the Necrons, the destination that the portal leads to will inevitably be the Warhammer 40k universe.

Sui Yang simply couldn't understand why the human emperor had chosen him....

To be honest, after he realized that the emperor had used some underhanded tricks to make the cart go out of control and gave him a "I chose you, therefore, you shall transmigrate, kid!", he was extremely resistant deep down.

Even the truth of since we're already here couldn't calm my mind.

After serving eight years in the army and receiving his discharge pay, he was finally able to happily go home and eat hot pot. Who would have thought that he would be transported to another world in the blink of an eye? And there's a very high probability that he's just a tool in someone else's game?!

No one would be happy if it were someone else.

However, after more than a hundred years of experience, this unnecessary emotion only lasted for a short while.

Of course, he was not entirely without merit, especially since deep down he also held the belief of for humanity and common prosperity.

Let's get back to the present.

The cold words in his mind reminded him that he could obtain [Reset] and [Offspring] through the First World.

[Reset] This is simple and straightforward: by killing Omega and absorbing his blood, you can take back the ability of the day you reset.

But regarding [Offspring]....

Sui Yang was somewhat bewildered.

"T"

He suppressed the urge to speak the essence of Chinese culture, but his hatred for riddle makers only increased.

never mind.

Sui Yang was too lazy to dwell on the [Offspring] aspect; his primary goal now was [Reset].

Fortunately, he had watched "Edge of Tomorrow" countless times and could almost recite the lines by heart. When Rita Vrataski explained William Cage's condition to Dr. Carter, she said "He's me, before Verdun."

This indicates that Rita Vrataski participated in hundreds of battles of Verdun through [Reset].

However, in the eyes of others, Rita Vrastaki is currently participating in her first battle and has accomplished the feat of fighting against a hundred enemies single-handedly. However, she was also injured and fell into a coma. A blood transfusion at the field hospital caused her to lose her abilities.

Having confirmed the point in time when Rita Vrataski lost her [Reset] ability, the next step is to figure out how to seize it.

In the movie, in order to lure and kill William Cage, Omega gave him the false illusion that he was at the Canera Dam in Germany.

William Cage, who fell into the trap, miraculously died. After the reset, he successfully obtained Omega's true location using the reader developed by Dr. Carter.

The Louvre Museum in Paris.

Near the end of the film, Willaim Cage also lost his ability to reset, but due to the protagonist's halo, the lone team of less than ten people successfully broke into Paris and then achieved a real victory.

Knowing the plot, Sui Yang didn't need the protagonist group to go through all that trouble he only needed to organize troops to launch a surprise attack on Paris.

France borders Germany, which was the first country to fall to the Japanese, and the Zero One Humans waged a five year war against the Mimicry, making France a no-man's land long ago.

However, this operation requires Sui Yang's participation.

It wasn't reckless like Sui Yang, nor was it a case of acting impulsively out of passion...

Although he was called Death on Horseback or Strongman by Arthur Morgan and Western cowboys in his youth, often doing things like single-handedly wiping out a gang, that was all in the 19th century.

Boom! Boom!

The roar of the engine and the noise from the rotor blades shattered the tranquility of the place.

A helicopter formation consisting of four black-painted UH-1H Hueys, one CH-53E Sea Stallion, and one AH-1W Super Cobra providing escort is flying westward at low altitude and at high speed.

Furthermore, each helicopter is marked with a prominent red 'A' symbol, indicating that the formation belongs to Atlas.

As a giant corporation involved in multiple fields, it is perfectly normal for it to possess military vehicles. The 14x14 meter space door is also sufficient for Atlas engineers to transport the fuselage and wings to Earth Zero One and complete rapid assembly.

As for the destination of this formation, it is the Louvre Museum in Paris, which is still 20 kilometers away.
