" This is Macbeth Senior High, neither of the school's you brought belong here. Peter Vordsworth you brought these people here, you shall lead them out." The principal announced.
Defiantly Peter replied, " These people are the legacy left for me by my grand parents. If I were to send them out, I would follow them to the end. And I don't intend on leaving."
Banging her palm on the table, the female vice principal, Miss Donna rose her hand pointed at Peter. " You don't get to make requests for the higher authority, don't insult your elders."
Still firm Peter said in an unwavering tone, " Do you feel insulted because she is your mother, who made you a government paid worker at a young age because she could."
One of the seniors stepped in, "Now is not the right time to bring up such accusations." Peter shot him a side glance, "Then when is the right time."Looking at the school authorities, "I don't get why they are so afraid."
All this while Arthur stood at the sidelines waiting for a perfect moment to step in and make an objection. "How dare you!!!" Sir Benson exclaimed. "What next would you spew from that mouth of yours, that I have an affair with the principal."
With unmatched confidence he immediately responded, "If you put it that way, it could be true. It just needs a little digging. You see I know about most of you, I have all your records."
Stretching out his arms, "Why wouldn't I, the principal of the students you want to cast out is your Supervising Director, my grandmother. Don't you have human empathy to cast out fellow human beings…, CHILDREN!!! As a matter of fact."
Ending his statement, the hall fell into a deep silence. Moments of tension passed then a clap was heard. The principal rose from her executive chair, clapping rhythmically.
" Well done Peter Vordsworth, your speech touched my heart. I am compelled, truly, truly so." Walking out of her chair and behind the seated teachers on her left.
She exited the sitting and walked straight towards Peter, her intent malicious. It was so subtle only Arthur felt it, in his trial he did feel an infinite malevolent presence. Now he could instantly identify ill intent.
He moved silently, not interfering in the tension of the moment. "Very well, I didn't want to result to this." With the snap of a finger, nine notorious seniors revived melee weapons from various hidden points.
Their expressions were empty and hollow, looking closely at them one would notice icy dew sipping from there skin. Before they could attack Arthur stepped up, his hands pocket deep. "Stop."
Everyone froze and turned to him, calmly he walked closer to the principal. "Mrs Lovett I have a meaningful proposal to make and I am sure it would benefit all of us."
"Speak fast you're wasting my mana." She said walking back to her seat. Arthur cleared his throat pointing towards the middle school section. "Let's take over that place."
She wanted to speak but he didn't let her. "It extremely spacious with numerous classes which could serve as rooms. It has a main entrance and exit, plus various facilities for accomodations.".
" I am not sure, space is what we should be arguing about at this moment." He added his hands twitching in his pockets." *Sigh*, Space isn't the only factor we are considering, we have limited resources." The principal explained.
" With our previous population, our hoarded food supply could last use a week or so but as you all arrived, it wouldn't be enough for two days." She added hoping to hear what Arthur had to say.
"You even have a food supply for two days and you're complaining. Two days is enough to rest, heal up and scavenge for supplies." He said his voice calm. "We now have the power to do that, these zombies aren't much of a threat, I hope you know that."
Mrs Lovett sighed pinching the bridge of her nose."That isn't a solution, the more we humans wait thinking we can use our profound abilities to survive, the more those things evolve."
"That's why we battle them to evolve ourselves. Doing what you are planning would only shorten the awaken force we have." Arthur explained.
"Why did I even decide to listen to you in the first place. You would have been one of my minions if you had been in the hall." Mrs Lovett said looking at the teachers around her.
They were all nodding to an unknown agreement, Arthur understood what this was. "Alright, I wish to have a short conversation with Peter. When we're done we would settle this amicably."
Motioning to Peter, they walked over to a corner. With his hands still in his pockets Arthur spoke. "What the next step." Peter turned towards the direction of the principal and her council.
"We defend ourselves, we don't know how many awakeners she has under her and we haven't seen David yet." Mentioning David took Arthur's mind to his former acquaintance.
"We don't know what happened here while we explored the outside world, what the they passed through and how they adapted." Peter continued.
"So doing anything other than defending ourselves might not be the best of ideas." Arthur said expanding his statement. " As far as I know, very few of us have unlocked our abilities."
Shocked Arthur inquired, "So the rest have just been fighting only on awakened strength." Peter nodded, "Couldn't you tell, despite been awakened, they couldn't fight without getting close."
Leaving Arthur stunned, Peter walked away to continue with his trial. 'That shouldn't have been hard to guess. Anyway let's get this noisemaking over with.' Overcoming his shock he walked back to the principal's seating.
The argument had now lessed with Peter writing down a negotiation before the principal.
"Mrs Lovett, has my idea been accepted or are you still on with your lack of resources nonsense." Arthur said standing before the principal's desk.
" Move aside Reed, I have little business with you." She said not sparing him a glance. "Very well then, I guess you were right in your words." Mrs Lovett turned to face him, her expression confused.
" You missed the chance to take me out." With those words, Arthur's left hand came out of his pocket and a clear bang followed. However it didn't end with one, the second came, then the third.
In moments seventeen bullets left the Glock 17 in Arthur's hand. Most bullets killed a single person, few flew in supernatural curved patterns killing more people than it should.
Before anyone could realize what was going on, twenty nine teaching personnels were dead. Lowering his trembling hand, Arthur turned to the hall, not minding the shocked seniors besides him.
" From now on, you all take orders from I alone."
