Chapter 2 - AFTER BIRTH

Story of Hanuman after his Birth

After his divine birth, Hanuman grew up with extraordinary strength and intelligence, inherited from his father Vayu Dev (the Wind God). As a playful child, he once mistook the rising sun for a ripe fruit and leapt into the sky to catch it. Alarmed, Indra struck him with his thunderbolt, injuring Hanuman and causing him to fall unconscious. Angered by this, Vayu Dev stopped the air, and life on Earth began to suffer. To calm him, the gods revived Hanuman and blessed him with many powers such as strength, wisdom, courage, and immortality.

Hanuman later went to study under Surya Dev, whom he humbly served while learning all scriptures and knowledge. Though powerful, Hanuman was innocent and playful. Due to a curse by sages, he forgot his immense powers until the right time came.

As he grew older, Hanuman met Lord Rama and instantly recognized him as the Supreme Lord. From that moment, Hanuman devoted his life to Rama's service. His courage, humility, and devotion made him one of the greatest devotees in history.

Jai Shri Ram! Jai Bajrang Bali!
