Annie was from a poor home and she needed money to save her sister who was sick of Leukemia
Annie: Don't worry, Mia I'll find ways and means to save you from this sickness
Mia: Thank you so much, sister
Annie and Mia were orphans and Annie was the lil sister of Mia and she had to go to school but because of her sister's sickness, she had to stay home and get some money for her operation
Annie went to work the next day and she worked in a bakery shop
Miss. Lucy: You're so late, Annie
Annie: I'm so sorry, Miss.Lucy. I had to make food for my sister
Miss.Lucy: How's your sister doing?
Annie: Each day gets worse and worse
Miss.Lucy: I really wish I had the money to help you
Annie: Madam, don't worry I'll find means to help her
Miss. Lucy: Annie, I've decided to help you go to school
Annie: Thank you but I can't go to school whiles Mia is still lying in bed
Miss. Lucy: Hmm, everything's going to be fine
Annie: Yes I hope so
Annie went to church the next day and she knelt down crying
Annie: God, why are you punishing my sister and I so badly. I really wish I was the one who had the sickness and not my sister because I don't like to see my sister in so much pain
More tears rolled on Annie's cheeks, Annie then got up and was about to leave when she bumped into someone
Annie: I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking
The guy: It's okay
Annie: I have to go now
Annie left, the guy smiled. Annie went home and she saw that Mia had prepared some food for them
Annie: Mia, you shouldn't have worried yourself
Mia: I know that I wanted to help too, I can't always stay in bed and letting you do all the work alone. You're my lil sis and I should even be the one to take care of you but I'm not doing my responsibility
Annie: Mia, you did enough for me. You paid my school fees and everything and I'm so grateful for that, It's also now for me to take good care of you
Tears rolled on Mia's cheeks
Annie: Don't spoil your pretty face with tears, Let's eat in happiness
Mia smiled and sat down to eat
