Chapter 10 - Infinite Forge

Kaen woke up after seeing the bright sunlight shining into his hotel room. He rubbed his eyes for three seconds, and when he opened them again, he saw a woman who looked just like him, with the same ruby-red eyes and black hair. Elizabeth

"What are you doing here, you crazy old woman? Can't you at least let me get some rest?" Kaen said irritably.

"Well, you really know how to put people in a bad mood first thing in the morning," said Elisabeth, irritated in turn.

"That's my line," argued Kaen, shouting, or at least trying to. He had just woken up and was not in the mood to shout about such trivial matters.

The two stared at each other for several seconds and suddenly burst out laughing.

After recovering from his laughter, Kaen stared blankly at the ceiling, trying to find something that no longer existed.

"Tell me, what really happened in that forest? Did you really lose your memory, or did you regain it with these new powers? And why do you look so sad and constantly on guard? Careful, I'm not forcing you to tell me: if you want to keep this secret, I'll understand, but know that if you want to talk, I'm here."

She looked at him with immense seriousness. Since he had awakened, it was the first time he had seen her so serious.

"When I'm ready to tell you, I'll tell you, I swear, Elizabeth," he replied with equal seriousness.

"Come with me, you'll be surprised," said Elisabeth, opening a gate.

'What now?'

"What do you think of this? Don't tell me you're still thinking inappropriate thoughts about your big sister," she smiled.

"Stop saying things that could be misunderstood when taken out of context," said Kaen, blushing.

Elisabeth laughed and added, "Cute."

They had both appeared in the coliseum.

A figure was meditating in the middle of the coliseum.

It was Solvane.

"She's meditating, after her advance in initiate rank", Elisabeth said to Kaen.

"breakthrough? So she did it," Kaen said.

"How do you feel about that, Kaen?" she asked curiously.

He looked at her with confusion for a moment and replied, "Determination, I suppose."

'"You can stop pretending, Solvane," Elisabeth declared.

"Huh?" Kaen asked Elisabeth and Solvane in surprise.

"Solvane and I made a bet: if you could handle Solvane making a breakthrough or not, if you wouldn't get depressed and lose the will to fight and train again," Elisabeth explained calmly.

"Listen to me, both of you. I don't know who you think I am, but I'm not that weak or fragile. Get this into your heads: I'm going to become strong, strong enough to become the most powerful. " Kaen continues in his mind: 'I'll kill that bastard one day. I swear it, and no one will stop me.'

Elisabeth nodded in approval, and Solvane felt embarrassed about it, so she apologised.

"I'm sorry."

"It's okay, Solvane, it's nothing, I just felt the need to clarify that between us."

Solvane sighed with relief. "Okay, thank you."

"You don't need to apologise," he said, giving her a light punch on the head.

'Ouch, why did you suddenly hit me?' Solvane began to complain.

"Why are you making such a big deal out of it? You've just had your breakthrough, it's not going to hurt," Kaen complained in turn.

Last Night

Elisabeth ordered, "Get into the lotus position."

She sat down in the position she had been holding for a moment. She felt this energy rumbling inside her and began to close her eyes.

Suddenly, she released all the mana and aura she had stored up at once. She felt as if her body was being ravaged by a storm. She had to react quickly. She had to tame both her mana and her aura without them coming into conflict, otherwise there would be unimaginable consequences. She focused first on her mana, letting the energy rise to her mana core and stabilising everything. Then it was the aura's turn. She managed everything calmly, letting the aura flow through her revitalised body, her muscles, her bones, her veins, her nerves and every fibre of her body

Her body was under immense strain, her muscles twisted, her bones were about to break, sweat flooded her body, testifying to the effort required for this action

She controlled everything perfectly and began to release her mana through the outside and her aura through her muscles. The room began to shake.

Her breakthrough to the initiate level was finally complete.

She finally opened her eyes, her body covered in sweat after all the effort she had put in.

She breathed and muttered,

'Status.'

'What's that?' whispered Solvane. "Big sister, no one can see this place, and hear what happens here, right?"

"Yes, what happened?" asked Elisabeth sceptically

"See this, my battle arts are..... " said Solvane to Elisabeth

Elisabeth's eyes widened in shock at this news.

'My little sister is also a monster,' she thought to herself, sighing, then smiling broadly. 'That's good. They'll be able to take care of each other if I disappear.'

"Sleep and rest," Elisabeth advised Solvane. "You're going to stay here all night and we'll test Kaen's reaction," she said as she prepared a bed for her to sleep in.

"Okay," replied Solvane.

BACK TO THE PRESENT

"Right, you two, that's enough, we're not here to squabble," said Elizabeth.

They calmed down and looked at Elisabeth with serious composure, their eyes burning with determination.

Today we will fight with weapons, but not normal weapons. No, we will fight with weapons to which your souls are connected.

Kaen looked at her in shock. "How do you know that?"

"How do I know? Because you have one of those weapons at your level with you. Even if I explained it to you, you wouldn't understand. Reach my level, and you'll see that what you think is invisible today." said Elisabeth with visceral calm

'What the hell does she know about me, for God's sake?'
