Opening his eyes, panting, getting up with a stiff body. Gurudza struggles, travelling around a strange place where he has never been. Getting out of the luxurious looking hut, nicely thatched. He gets into a crowd that stares at him like he is something inhuman, following him with curious eyes. Last thing he remembers is when he was fighting Gwanhoya and she ... his brain becomes blank, unable to remember what happened before he got here. He was not alone at the battle field, his face, careworn immediately, he prepares to run and a familiar voice calls to him.
"Gurudza!" he hears the female voice calling him.
He quickly turns, his eyes come in contacting with a smiling Mukura wearing a white gown with golden bangles and a neckless. She gets closer to him, place her right hand on his left cheek. It is finally over now. her tears flow down her cheeks. They do not say anything to each other, but just show their relief with their tearing eyes. The darkest hour they face has by passed them and it was not an easy time for them. Their greatest enemy vanquished, a hand grabs onto Mukura's shoulder another on to her face, wiping off her tears, she looks at the person with so much love. Her sister, Monalisa alive and well. Looking happy and rejuvenated to what she once was. A beautiful woman with so much love for everyone around her.
The three look around at the people of Alabaster Weald, the white witch's enchanted forest people who surround them. The young lady is to take over her mother's throne as the grand white witch. But what of the Dark Forest, Dhoramu? Who is the one that is going to take over and lead the dark witches?
Gurudza goes up front, "I have to go." He says with his face saddening thinking.
"Guru, you just woke up and you need more rest to recover!" Mukura says laying her hand on his shoulder from behind.
He looks back at her, "I wish that was what is but I have to find my mother's body and lead her people and also restore the chiefdom of Domboguru!" he tells her.
Catherine walks up to them, "I think you two should go and do that!" she says with utmost confidence.
Monalisa joins her, "Yes, I think me and Cathy here got everything covered."
With her watery eyes she nods with a smile on her face and she follows Gurudza on his journey. Monalisa and Catherine watch them as they leave through the barrier.
Monalisa sighs holding her waste, "Those two huh, they went through a lot and I think a break to relax and restore their mental health is needed."
"Indeed!" Catherine replies.
Getting to the great Zambezi River is the witch on a place filled with sand and huge rocks around, holding the little snake creature in her hands. She lets the creature run into the river. And waits for something set by the river bank with her eyes closed. Hours pass by and she opens up her eyes. A huge fish headed creature is moving its head in front of her.
"Arise my beloved servant, it is time to prepare!" it spits on a rock, the rock splits and changes into bones, "The ancestors await, I have heeded their cries from the heavens in my prison and I am here to fulfil their desires and return the lost ones!" he tells her.
The great snake returns back into the river, leaving the witch to begin everything.
On their way to Dhoramu, Gurudza and Mukura hear a voice speaking to the from their right side in a bush saying, "I have guided you to this point and watched you grow but now you must face what is coming by yourselves."
Gurudza walks up to the bush leaving Mukura behind to check and see what it is that is speaking to them and to his surprise he finds nothing behind the bush.
"What is it?" she asks.
"There is nothing here, I think we are still tired from the battle and we are hearing things," he laughs.
She folds her hands, "Stop laughing!" she sighs, "Are you sure there is nothing behind the bush? Because I could have sworn, I heard Wezhira's voice."
He opens his arms, "No, there is nothing here."
"Okay, if you say so."
They continue on their journey talking and Wezhira appears behind them smiling. Proud of their growth and he slowly vanishes.
The End
