Everything went back to normal and the witch signalled to the prince with her eyes instructing him the next thing to do. And the latter didn't waste a second and walked to where the vampire was, and quickly ripped his heart out and dropped it down. He carried his wife's lifeless body carefully, and used his mouth to mutter a thank you and she only nodded as she walked away.
Zarek (the prince) placed his wife carefully on a bed at home and instructed his guards to buy every ounce of blood available at the hospital. He instructed another set of guards to find a lot of animal blood for him, awaiting the awakening of his dear wife.
A few hours later, her eyes snapped open immediately and then got up immediately. Her whole body was aching, her heads banging so much like it's being splitted into two, her mouth so dry, and she kept licking her lips every minutes
Darek understood immediately. It was part of the transformation. He quickly brought out a blood bank, then went closer to feed her.
"Is it okay to do that?" she asked softly, licking her lips.
He smiled and patted her hair "of course it is, we're in love and married, since you don't have a Bloodhound yet" he said and began to feed her his blood
She fed on it instantly and started gulping like her life depending on it while he moaned softly, not from pain but from the urge to drive her closer and fuck her breathlessly but she's still healing so he was just grinding his cock on the bed, Dianna oblivious to what was going on.
After a few weeks of drinking animal blood repeatedly, Dianna had become more stable like before. One afternoon as they were having the conversation of how everything happened, Darek had to explain to him how the man sacrificed was drained of blood and how his heart was ripped out himself.

The second day
"How insolent "!!!! Kaelinor (King of the Vampires) roared immediately darek got to the palace the second day he was summoned.
Anyone looking at Kaelinor and Darek would not even know who's older. Despite having lived 5000 years on earth, he's still known as the ever agile and capable vampire king.
"I…I don't know what you're talking about father" Darek muttered fearfully. He has never seen his father this angry before for the 3000 years he had known him.
"Ooh the banquet…" he said apologetically, " I'm sorry father I….
"You changed Dianna" he cuts in immediately with a sad and disappointed look on his face
"By a witch!!, you performed sorcery, you tarnished my image, do you know how bad it would look if the people were to find out about this?" He said, rubbing his head together frustratedly.
Darek was too shocked to be able to speak a word. How did his father know about this? No one else except the witch and Diana..
"Dianna" screamed in his mind immediately and gritted his teeth annoyingly. How could she do that to him? He always knew she was too righteous but going this far??
"I know that wench put you up to it" kaelinor said sitting down on an old small tool "I already knew she was bad luck when you decided to marry her in the first place" he said shaking his head irritatingly.
"You thought I didn't know a witch lived there all these while? She was trouble Darek, a vampire should know better than to get fooled by a witch" he sneered
"She came to meet me last night, bargaining with me with your secret…
"Wait it wasn't Dianna?" Darek asked immediately, a mix of confusion and relief washing over him.
"You don't even trust your own wife," said kaelinor with a dismissive look. "It wasn't her, it was the witch. She threatened to reveal what you had done to the whole world. I dont decree that witches are good people and that they should be allowed to live among us. She also asked me to set free the others that were kept captive"
"But father, how are you still this calm? It won't be easy to persuade the elders about this and….."
"I already took care of it " the King cuts in immediately
"But how" he asked confusedly
"Sorry but not sorry but we are going to have all these pinned on your wife, the king's guard are already bringing her here and I've told the elders about it" the King replied dismissively
"What??How could you do such a thing without consulting me, father?!!, this was all me!!, and we are not pinning it on Dianna"!! He shouted with irritation written all over his face.
"Maybe you should have thought of that before doing what you did" kaelinor sneered "Or maybe if you had killed the witch, we wouldn't be having this conversation we are having right now"
Darek went back on his knees again and began begging, rubbing his hands together for forgiveness from his father, who acted like he didn't even see him and only gestured for Darek to follow him.
They walked together into the throne room and were announced entering while all the elders bowed to them. Kaelinor took a seat and Darek also sat beside his Mother and sister, Caroline.
"Bring her in" the King said and Dianna was dragged into the hall with both her hands and legs tied and all the elders gasped surprisingly and murmurs filled the hall.
Darek's eyes went red, tears filling the brim of his eyes as he looked at his wife who gave her a warm, weak smile. He faced his father to say something and he shushed him with his eyes immediately. He also turned his face to his mother who looked at him apologetically, indication that there's nothing she can do.
"May I ask what the lady has done for her to be chained and disgraced like this" One of the elders of the council said out loudly while the murmurs went down and all eyes were on the King.
"The elder who had spoken is a very close friend to the father of Dianna, and things might get really messy if not taken with care" kaelinor thought.
"Lady Diana Altherivine, Daughter of Marcus Altherivine, was caught performing sorcery" he declared and all the hall erupted into loud murmurs immediately, confusion and disagreement
"That is impossible" the elders who talked earlier, roared again "I have known Dianna way too long for me to know she would never do such a thing"
"But there's proof," the King replied, "and there is a witness who saw her with the witch at the outskirts of the town as well, and we also retrieved the body of the full bloodied that was used as well. His whole body was drained and his heart was removed" he King said to him.
The elder laughed disgustingly out, causing everyone to look at it surprisingly.
"With all due respect my king, how could a human possibly kill a vampire, full bloodied at that; all alone" he asked, facing the King and all the gathering murmured in agreement.
"It is possible because she's Lamia" the king replied and another elder spoke out Again
"Even if she was, there's no bite of the lady on the vampire is there, and is my king insinuating that she did all these without her husband knowing?"
"My son was oblivious to everything she did, it was the witch that came to meet me herself" the king said with a straight face.
"Darek would not have allowed it if he knew', he continued "As we all know how sympathetic and kind Mrs Dianna is, she didn't want to drag her family or anyone into this"
"Then let her talk my king, why are you doing the talking for both of them" the first elder spoke out again
"Very well then. Mrs Diana Altherivine, tell the whole Council the truth about what happened".
Darek shifted uncomfortably in his chair and looked at her with a pleading eye which she averted.
"I wanted to spend the rest of my life with my family. It was a decision I had to make at first before getting married to Darek but I ignored it because I didn't know I was Lamia" she began with tears brimming out of her eyes.
"I did something unimaginable and sacrificed another person to be able to live, which I regret every single day of my life but…" she paused while looking at the King.
She sniffed back her tears and continued, "I did it all alone, Darek had absolutely no idea about it" she dropped the bomb and the King smirked where he sat.
Darek already knew what was happening. His father must have gotten into her head somehow but he didn't do all that to save her just to let her get killed again.
"She's lying" he said while walking towards her and the King's face was all filled with rage.
