Angelica: nana Kelly please don't listen to his awful suggestions

Henry relaxed his shoulders and felt relieved, so did Angie

32 minutes had passed since the earthquake. Henry asked me if I had a location in mind when we drive through streets while avoiding the monsters, I pulled out my phone and dialed my trusted butler.
???: did you also by chance forget my name Amari?
Amari: …. Im sorry youngin' I have been trying to contact you for the last 30 minutes it is as if it disappeared from my contacts.
We spent 5 minutes recalling what happened and coming up with a plan, he told me he will contact my uncle and see if he can provide a rescue team for me and a helicopter, it is so nice to be rich.
Amari was my personal butler and he was with me for 10 years, he helped me with everything and he knows shit that no one else knows about me, well not everything.
After ten minutes I called him because for some reason my name is not visible for him he said had some good news and bad news.
Amari: Youngin' everything went to absolute monkey shit, we can't come to your place because these green bastards have blocked all access to your area, be it on the road or in the air, i won't bombard you with what i have been told but we got permission for our mercenary group to meet you at the location that I will send you on your GPS, knowing that you are driving the latest version of an AVX29 you will be safe but the problem is there are not only monsters on the road, there are also humans with swords but they are not what you should be concerned about.
???: Amari please cut to the chase this is taking too long
Amari: Sorry youngin' but you have to listen to this, there are 3 humans on your way that you should look out for, they are all wearing long golden and black robes you can't mistake them for the regular grunts, all of them seem to wield some mysterious powers. Your uncle sent a rescue chopper for you before the earthquake even happened and one of these bastards shot a 50-foot radius boulder taking the poor bastards out along with the building behind them, we thought he was the most dangerous one but that was the tip of the iceberg. After his attack, he was the military's number one priority and they tried to drone strike him, but to their surprise he was protected by another human who casted a semitransparent barrier out of thin air.
About the third human he was just watching everything unfold without a care and was just spectating, he is probably their leader, I suspect he is the most dangerous one in the whole city.
???: man we really should just die huh.
Amari: don't say that youngin', its hard but not impossible, your uncle gave the order for constant drone strikes on the superhumans, we are just waiting for the conformation, amidst the chaos make your escape, you can't stay in your place. The main army of the invasion is approaching you slowly, I will give you approximately 3 hours before they reach you and let me tell you, you haven't seen shit yet.

An hour had past, we only got a wandering goblin setting outside the barricade but he was keeping everyone anxious. I told Angie and Henry and Kelly about the plan and that they should keep it a secret from everyone, we had to cut our losses it will be impossible to save everyone, if we told them we have 3 hours to go south or we will die they would probably run down the streets and scream like idiots and bring the hordes attention to us. Still i won't leave them in the dark i devised a vanilla plan that can give everyone a chance, well everyone with a car at least.
I went to the rooftops and contacted Amari to check the latest wonderful news.
Amari: youngin...
???: yes?
Amari: I have good news and also I have bad news,
???: bad news first please
Amari: they are planning on nuking the city.
Silence, my face was blank, this is definitely a dream right? I asked him if there is a reason for this unusual and psychotic decision.
Amari: the constant drone strikes withered the superhumans and pushed them to their limit. everyone died but their leader, he gathered some of the bizarre power and they believe he is going to summon 1200 foot tall monster, the second reason is the monsters are appearing at an alarming rate, they have been exponentially coming out of a colossal gate, and if the mathematicians are correct there will be 3 million monsters and primitive humans alike in this city alone. Most of the civilians are dead youngin' it is a miracle that we are even talking right now, I suggest you move now and rip the Band-Aid fast.
My mind went on survival mode, I didn't even crack jokes with henry, I pulled my group in a room and said we have to move right fucking now, seeing my state all of them were on alert. I gathered the people and told them we will clear the way and everyone should get in their cars and follow along. I gave them 5 minutes to get ready.
I went to the basement that were crawling with lesser goblins, they were way weaker then Doradoran and smelled way worse than him. Henry wasn't much of a fighter and everyone was scared shitless and panicking. One of the men tried to take my handgun from my hip but I punched him unconscious upstairs, what was his plan anyway? I told them if I used my handgun, it will attract the whole horde and since there were only 13 goblins scattered I decided to use the sword that was bestowed upon me by Doradoran the great. I took off my shoes and silently sneaked to the two goblins that were conversing with each other, I never handled a sword before but I watched many medieval movies, I took the famous king Arthur stance and attacked the goblins with a horizontal slash. My line of thought was the sword would get stuck on the goblins spine but to my surprise it felt like I only waved the sword around, two heads started rolling on the ground. I looked around and saw Henry and Angie looking at me with their eyes wide open and their mouth dropping to the ground, I too had the same expression.
Lets go back a bit, I told the people that the plan is that everyone should get in their cars and on my signal, we would all ignite our engines at the same time and make a break for it in a straight line, because if we ignited the engines separately the horde would be alerted and if we drove randomly we would surely hit each other at the entrance.
Back at the present, the goblins by some miracle all decided to get back on the streets, I was not sure if I could take on 11 goblins at the same time, that would be suicide. Angie and Henry took some of the spears that the goblins were carrying, we all entered our vehicles and they were anxiously waiting for my signal.
My AVX29 was on the backside of the parking lot so I needed to be the first in line of the formation, there was 5 cars that were supposed to be behind me, after we helped nana Kelly in our vehicle and everyone boarded the vehicle I turned around an faced them.
???: listen carefully, we should only priorities ourselves, not everyone can be saved. Does anyone know how to use a gun?
Nana Kelly: I know how to use one sweetheart
Silence….'we are so dead' but I can't give up yet, I gave nana Kelly a snub-nosed revolver and my first thought was I hope she doesn't sacrifice me because of my stupid jokes, she went to the military when she was young and hated it, she got so anxious the herathians would start another war so she decided to become a house wife, I honestly don't blame her. I told them the road is going to be bumpy and they should buckle up their seatbelts.
And on my signal everyone ignited their engines, I drove to the entrance first just as planned and everything went smoothly, we lined up the vehicles and as soon as the fifth car was lined a drove onto the exit.
As soon as i drove out around 19 goblins turned their attention to me, I looked back to see if all the cars were out and noticed the dumbass in the 5th car crashed against the entrance for no reason at all, and a loud bang alerted the whole street. Logically I tried to help them as best as I can so I did the only option that was in front of me, I stepped on the pedal with all my might.

The beast roared in the middle of the street, it didn't care what was in front of it, as if everything else was its prey, all of the monsters hearts skipped a beat when a 10 foot 8 tons apex predator lunged at them at at 80 miles per hour in mere nine seconds. Everyone's attention was on the beast, they thought they can stop it, these poor bastards did not even stand a chance, the beast only slowed down to clean the gore of its eyes before it picked up its speed again, every monster on the street were on high alert, their first instinct was to get out of the way but their human allies stood in the streets with a brave and smug look on their faces

But the beast only spoke English so their words fell on deaf ears
The monsters were glad they didn't follow the puny humans in their delusions. At least the monsters were able to slow down the beast a little with their large bodies. The humans were being turned to red mist.
After 10 minutes of driving

Henry: that was a lot easier than I expected, but bro did you have to stomp on the pedal like that? My grandmas spine was almost snapped in half.
???: yeah obviously there was a reason for that
Angie: and the reason being?
I said in a deep voice

???: we are nearing the main obstacle be vigilant
Henry: do you expect us to forget the bullshit you said a few seconds ago?
???: I wasn't told what his main weapon is but they said he is planning on summoning the main raid boss

???: henry im being serious we could die in a couple of minutes
Angie was being silent all this time and I do not blame her. She is just a normal girl
I met her one year ago when i was reading in the library, she sat beside and she was shaking intensely, she said while stuttering " hello m'y name I'I''I'is An'gelica wou'ld you like*blob* to go on date with me?" in the middle of confessing to me she blew a gigantic snot bubble through her nose and her face went tomato red, to this day I still laugh at the incident, she thought I felt bad for her and that is why I agreed, but that is a subject for another day.
Nana Kelly was vibing to thundercat. Henry turned serious when i told him about our obstacle, after we get past him we can go to our mercenary's rendezvous point and hopefully be out of the city before the nuke is dropped. We finally met the superhuman, And as if he was waiting for us, he stood menacingly in the middle of the street.
