"That is them, Jo," Heri whispered, his eyes demanding. "Look at that girl's face, Jo. Her eyes are swollen. I am sure she has been crying non-stop for days. Don't you feel sorry for her?" Heri nearly forced Jonathan to look at the two girls now walking toward them.
A few moments later, the two girls stood before Heri and Jonathan.
"This is Zee, who will be joining the fifteen-day training program," Sifa said, introducing her best friend.
"Zee," Zee greeted softly, her expression looking gloomy and slightly awkward. She extended her hand to shake Heri's.
"Oh, Zee. I am Heri. It is a coincidence. The trainer is already here. This, next to me, is Jonathan," Heri said, smiling with relief.
Jonathan glanced at Heri, his eyebrows raised high, silently sending a stern warning to Heri for this betrayal.
