Time passed by and John finally arrived at the cafe. Still in his uniform and still carrying his bag. "What did I miss?" John asked as soon as he approached our table. "Maria began to share the Good News with Hazel and Elle." Jaime answered while looking at his brother. "Really? How'd they take it?" John asked as he looked at me.
"Well… I think Hazel was still comprehending it while Elle understood it. I think. I'm not sure, really." I answered while looking at John. "I didn't know you had it in you." Andrew said, making me look at him. "I didn't know it either." I replied with a chuckle.
"Oh, hello there, young man." Philip greeted John as soon as he woke up. "He called me a young man again!" John said excitedly. "Stop calling him that or he'll think he's old enough even when he's still in high school." Thomas said to Philip. Philip then suddenly stood up while looking at Thomas, and he looked at Yeshua who gave him a nod then looked at John. "But you look like you're already in your 20s!" Philip said to John with wide eyes.
"What!? Who told him?!" John asked while pointing at Philip. Then Philip quietly slowly pointed Thomas beside him. John then looked at Thomas who quickly looked away as soon as their eyes met. "Teacher, what will we do next?" Simon asked as he leaned in closer to the table. "I will pray to the Father in the wilderness." Yeshua answered as He stood up.
Then all of us stood up from our seats as well. "What about us?" Andrew asked. "We study." Jude answered. "And we reflect on the Teacher's teachings." James continued. "That is correct. Now, if you'll excuse me…" Yeshua said as He moved His chair closer to the table. "Thank you so much for the pancakes, Alfeo!" Thanked Yeshua as He waves at Alfeo. "It is a pleasure to have you here always, Yeshua!" Alfeo replied from behind the counter.
Yeshua then gestures to us to move closer, and so we did. "The Lord bless you and keep you. The Lord makes His face shine upon you and be gracious to you. The Lord turns His face to you and gives you peace. Amen." Yeshua blessed us and then began to walk away with a smile. But before He even goes through the door… "Don't forget to tell Tabitha." Yeshua said as He looked at us with a smile. I was about to answer when… "We won't!" Jaime replied, making us look at him. And as soon as he noticed, "What?" Jaime asked.
